I love JJ’s and generally get fairly consistent sandwiches. Frankly, I always get the Turkey Tom, and it’s basically lettuce, tomato, and turkey meat. I willingly pay a premium for their tasty bread! This location, however either gave me old bread or left them in the oven for too long as the bottom was hard/crispy on the edges. It was also drenched in mayo. I think these just shows lack of care, and using bad bread is unforgivable to me.

The past 3 or 4 times I’ve ordered here have been 25 – 45 min to get my sandwich. JJs isn’t my ideal meal, but the reason I order it is because it’s quick. However that hasn’t been the case. When I’ve called to follow up on my order they say it’s super busy and drivers/riders have more than one order to deliver. In order to keep their promise and main advertisement that their service is so quick, they need to put more staff in the store. It’s very disappointing and after waiting 45 minutes I could have ordered a hot meal from another restaurant rather than a cold sandwich.

Freaky slow. It’s agonizing to wait 20+ minutes for a sandwich. I’m taking you to small claims court for false advertisement.

This used to be my favorite place to get a yummy sandwich, but I have noticed a big decline. The amount of meat has drastically been reduced to the point where it’s more of a lettuce sandwich. The best part about their sandwiches is the freshly baked bread. The last time I bought one, the bread was hard! I would have returned it, but was too far away by the time I ate it. My husband and I both ended up with $ 8 lettuce sandwiches made on hard bread. Yuck.

My office orders from here all of the time. Fastest delivery on the planet! Best of all they never get the order wrong. Wish I could say the same about everywhere else. I am obsessed with the Vito!

This was my first time going to a Jimmy John’s, and I was pretty disappointed in the result, possibly because I didn’t realize that Jimmy John’s doesn’t toast your sandwich. So it was a cold sandwich, with a few relatively thick slices of turkey and some lettuce and sprouts. Not particularly pleasant.

I have typically ordered from this Jimmy Johns frequently over the past year because it is so close to my work and is quick and easy! Unfortunately, I will not be any more. The past THREE times I ordered from here for delivery they did my order incorrectly. THREE times in a row. You would think with all the restaurants in the area they would be sure to get orders correctly and not loose anyone to the competitors around them. I will not be ordering from here again.

Holy cow I was eating my sandwich less than 10 minutes after ordering, and it’s exactly how I ordered it. Tasted as good as always.

Wow, I don’t think Jimmy would be very happy with this John’s. What’s one of the best things about JJ’s? Aside from being freaky fast, the bread rocks! So imagine my dissapointment when not once, but on two separate occasions, this location has given us day — old bread. I could have chipped a tooth it was so hard! Even worse, they missed JJ’s charm school portion of training. The employees really don’t want to be there and you can tell by the way the take your order, the lack of care put into making your sandwich, and additude they give at the register. There are so many better food options on this stretch of Lincoln, don’t set yourself up for disappointment at Jimmy John’s.

Best Jimmy John’s experience ever. Perfect ratios, fastest delivery, and the guy even came to my 2nd floor door because, after an 18 hour day, I was too lazy to go downstairs. Thank you, these guys deserve great tips!

Their employees behave like animals in our neighborhood. One delivery guy stole a smartphone from our office while he was delivering. You call management to discuss the problem and they do nothing at all. That thief probably won employee of the month at Jimmy Johns. BEWARE!

I love Jimmy John’s but this place is not great. During the school year it can be over-run with high school kids from Lincoln Park HS(ugh). As others have mentioned, the music is often too loud. My biggest problem though, and this is something I found out last time I visited, is that THEREISNOPUBLICBATHROOM. What? I find that strange in an establishment clearly invites sitting down to eat since it has tables and chairs. If you’re going to eat a sandwich you should be allowed to at least wash your hands before doing so. They need to either add a bathroom or take out the tables and chairs and make it clear that it’s carry-out only.

Back home there is this place called Publix. Yes its a grocery store that makes the best sandwiches. I haven’t found something comparable until today. I have been craving a Publix sub, when I was running errands and saw someone eating a Jimmy John’s sandwich. I immediately asked where one was and went straight over. It was heaven. The music in the store was not loud. The place was clean. And it was seriously staffed. The delivery guys were going in and out. The bread was fresh and delicious. I could not complain about my sandwich. My tiny humans ate a sandwich, and while one refused ham, she did eat her grandmother’s tuna! I would recommend this place. And they are open till 10:05 pm!

Love this place! They are quick, friendly, and have always gotten my order right! The manager even gave me a free sample today. OMG, the bread…

I went, I didn’t freak. When the whole business model revolves around speed, you better be fast. I remember the Jimmy Johns at UIUC where I would walk in with exact change(because I’m awesome like that) while simultaneously saying my order. I would put the money on the register and start walking out when the guy would throw me the completed sub. All. Without. Stopping. Now that place deserves 5 stars. Also, if you got this far through my review, I don’t like cold subs half the year. They need some innovation!

This Jimmy Johns rocks. I have ordered delivery and always received my food fast. They play music LOUD in there so don’t bring the kids. They always make my sandwhiches for my wife and I perfect every time. They are consistent. The delivery guys work on tips, so tip well, especially if it’s 100 degrees outside. or if its cold, or rainy etc. For what it is, they do a great job. The kids are always friendly, and high spirited. I go there at least once a week, more so for my wife as I love the mexican place next door(Allende) and they always do it right!

I called and explained to the manager that I worked for a non-profit and needed to feed 200 people for an event we were having. He curtly told me that, due to company policy, he couldn’t give away food and then hung up on me. Here’s the problem: I wasn’t begging for free food like he thought. I wanted to place an order and pay for the sandwiches with our hard-earned money. Doesn’t that seem rather rude to you?

Yes, a chain review. Deal with it. I have loved these sandwiches for years, but this location NEEDSNEWMANAGEMENT. In a long list of clown shows, here is the latest offense: –We order a turkey and cheese sandwich. –Hour later they deliver a ham & cheese. –We call, and they say they’re now on the way with the correct order. –Hour later, no sandwiches. We call, and they didn’t even know we were waiting for our food… Ok, now on the way again. –Another hour later they deliver a rock hard turkey tom, no cheese, and say we’re on a list for a free sandwich next time. –The following weekend there’s no record of our free sandwich, but we order one anyway– starvation makes you stupid. –The delivery hipster must have wanted a $ 2 tip on a $ 4 order, because he walks away from our door screaming F– us, and for us to go F ourselves in various ways. Can someone competent please get this business in working order. It’s ri-g@d-d@mn-diculous.
