Pure $hit. I got a sandwich from here today, got home and my meal consists of turkey and bread. No lettuce, tomato or mayo that always comes on a #4. Why go here? There’s a million places in Chicago to eat lunch. Save your $ 7.

Avoid at all costs. I added a photo, it took 45 minutes for me to have a sandwich delivered. I called the next day to say something and the«manager» was like«I keep telling them(idk who them is) that we need more drivers». When I called about the sandwich being late they said they were busy with 8 sandwiches. My friend owns a Jimmy Johns on the east coast and said it was absurd for delivery to take that long or for 8 sandwiches to be considered a rush. They should close this location. As far as I’m concerned they aren’t even really in business if they provide this awful of service. I’m submitting a notice to corporate too. The owner should be embarrassed they run such a poor establishment.

So bummed. I was so excited for my Jimmy John’s order because it’s always so delicious! I paid an extra $ 1.75 for a double add on of avocado and when it came there was none on it. Then the bread was hard on the ends and super dry. I called them to see if I could just get a refund for the avocado and no one will even answer. I’ve never had a bad experience at a Jimmy John’s until now. Bummer!!! The delivery guy was nice though.

Okay, these past reviewers are too harsh! I live 0.1 mile away, and of course ordered delivery online. It took about 10 mins to arrive for two sandwiches, which I think is perfectly acceptable on a Sunday afternoon. The sandwiches were fresh and just like any other JJ I’ve experienced.

Unfortunately, this location does not live up to the JJ’s reputation. I have been in several times in the last few months(I work down the street), and each time has been more disappointing than the last. In my opinion — Service: slow and unfriendly Location: either empty, or too busy for the few employees to handle Food: the sandwiches don’t seem to be as good as other JJ’s(may be a product of the environment) I plan to go elsewhere.

Terrible. I’ve had the older gentleman who delivers occasionally, while living at two separate locations in the last year, and it’s always the same, «will you come outside and meet your driver?» Once I was sick, and it was winter, and he sat in his car until I walked outside to get it. The whole point of delivery is so that I don’t have to come outside and meet you! He does this EVERYTIME. Anyway… I now live in a large elevator building and I have a sleeping child. The guy called from his cell phone saying he’s here. I told him to call from the buzzer(as stated in delivery instructions) so I could let him in. Silence… Me: «are you still there?» Him: Yeah. Me: «Ok well I need to get off the phone with you so I can buzz you in when you call.» 7 – 8 minutes later, someone buzzes. I say hello and met with silence. I said hello again and again and again, and still nothing. I’m not buzzing a random person inside(people off street often try to get in), so I hang up. Then after 5 more minutes, a different cell phone number calls and asks me to come downstairs and meet the driver. I explain again that I have a sleeping child and cannot come down… that’s why I ordered delivery. He just needs to call from the security system! It’s not that hard! The guy was super rude, says fine, and then I wait another few minutes and I get a cell call from the driver saying to come to the door. He said he’s knocking and I’m not answering. I ask how he got in, and he said he got in when another delivery person was coming out. Ok, whatever. But he says he’s at my door! I have a peep hole and he wasn’t there. He said«I’m at unit 206.» First, that unit can be seen from my peep hole and he wasn’t there. Second, my address was clearly given and that wasn’t it. I correct him on the unit number and several more minutes pass and finally, 47 minutes after I order my sub, it arrives at my door. The correct address and delivery instructions clearly marked on the receipt from when I placed my order. Wishing I hadn’t already added a tip. ;(

Absolutely awful. Extremely rude service. The«GM» hung up on me. I would reconsider your«Freaky Fast» slogan, as you do not live up to those words. I should have expected this, as Jimmy John’s was very poor before and even worse now. Great work! Thanks, guys!

Going there is fine, and food always tastes good, but delivery is SUPER slow. I work down the street and can’t leave, so I always get it delivered between 1−3pm. More often than not, it takes longer than 30 mins(sometimes an hour), which, in my opinion, is not freaky fast. I always have to call and ask where the order is… Who knows how long I’d wait if I didn’t call to check!

Freaky fast? They are not. Waited almost 30 minutes. They are so passive and how long this takes

This is a bad Jimmy Johns. Currently the price for a giant club sub is $ 9 at this location, while the location on Clybourn… Less than a mile away has it for $ 6. I just ordered a sandwich and had dead lettuce on it. Go to the Jimmy John’s on clybourn for price, quality, and customer service

This is the absolute worst Jimmy John’s! How do you run out of bread at 12:30? During the lunch rush? WTF.

i’ve been in this jimmy john’s a few times now, always in the middle of the day on a weekday when there’s no one in the restaurant but me. the staff is NOT friendly, and in fact, i always feel like they’re rushing me out the door. they cut me off when i’m ordering, usually telling me my order total while i’m clearly still deciding. and if i order multiple sandwiches to go and ask for a bag, they tell me to get the bag myself. it makes me want to say, «what the hell are you doing that’s so important and time-consuming that you can’t put my two sandwiches in a freaking paper bag?» even if i give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they’re dealing with lots of delivery orders every time i go in there, i still can’t understand the staff’s rude behavior. how can they consistently screw up 30-second customer interactions? especially with someone who works in customer service and makes a point of being polite? you’re not allowed to be rude to customers just because you’re very busy or stressed out. anyway. my food has always been good enough, but i always order sandwiches just as they come according to the menu. i just wish there were a different jj’s close to my job so i could go there instead.

I live in the area and love my JJs but this shop is atrocious. I will say one thing though, they are consistent. If it’s not hour long delivery times it’s something else(pretty sure they used day old bread to make my #12 today, I worked for JJ’s for 3 years so I’m not just blowing smoke). Eat anywhere else regardless of your JJ craving.

I’m never ordering from this jimmy johns ever again. I ordered a turkey Tom with chips and a drink. It took an hour and ten minutes to come. I should’ve looked at the reviews before ordering. I usually never have any problems with any of the other locations. It takes ten minutes tops. This was just ridiculous it’s just a sandwich.

The thing is, I’ve had great sandwiches at bodegas in NYC at 4 am– sober. I’ve had hogies in Princeton for 5 bucks that were to die for. I’ve heard that Jimmy John’s could compete. It’s everywhere on my campus(DePaul) through catering and people in Chicago apparently love it… Well thanks for continuing to be mediocre Chicago. I ordered(got it delivered) their California crap or whatever that was supposed to have avocado on it and well– the only way you knew it was there was a hint of green. SO you couldn’t taste it and most definitely couldn’t see it. I had no idea they don’t toast their subs and sadly that may have hidden the offness of the bread. Gave them a second go round rushing to work 2 months later and this time I walked in and got out within three minutes. The girl was super fast and curteous, it looked clean and the turkey sandwich was okay. Still a bit dry by my standards, but I was starving and in a rush so hey.

Ordered delivery from this location and they took our address and order and gave us a total. After 40 minutes of waiting, I called and they guy asked for our address and he said they did not deliver there. I asked why our order was taken and they did not tell us they didn’t deliver and he said I don’t know and hung up. Usually like Jimmy Johns, but this one is terrible!

I would give this place zero stars if it were a choice. Skip this place don’t bother with it many other ones to go to. I have a complaint about this store. First of all let me tell you I have been going to this store weekly for the last 6 Months. I spend money in there. I complained to Omar the manager/owner that Diet coke was not right and I happen to know diet coke as I drink about 3 or 4 a day out of the fountain. It was coming out with too much water in the mix you could see it and he said that’s how it is. I said not really… I know how it should come out and it tasted watered down. Here’s where it gets ugly. I asked for my money back politely and he at first flatly refused a regular customer. I then was a bit impolite and used a 4 letter word and he then said he would give me my money back. I also noticed he put on green tomatoes on my sandwich that’s unripe tomatoes. I then asked for a complete refund showing what he put on my 8 dollar sandwich. I have been on past occasions and sometimes he will use old produce that is not fresh. He has used brown lettuce on more than one occasion and old mushy tomatoes. He is cutting corners in the store. Omar is not a friendly guy and does not even recognize the fact you were just in there on a weekly basis and flatly refusing a refund on a customer who has a complaint on a soda is not good policy.

Usually love Jimmy John’s but this location seemed… off. The sandwich they made me was lacking tomatos and lettuce. Also, not very clean.
