Great neighborhood bar. Reasonably priced drinks, bartender is really great. I’ve only been here on a Wednesday, so I don’t know how crowded it gets on the weekends but on Wednesday it is moderately busy. They have euchre night on Wednesday and everyone that comes plays. Great pace to meet friendly people.
They have about 4 TVs so you can catch whatever shorts game is currently on at the moment.
Also a cool thing is that they let you bring your dogs with you. Everyone I’ve been the has been a did or two hanging around. Which is so much fun

Great bar with even better bartenders. It’s an awesome place to grab a pint of Guinness and watch the Bears, Blackhawks or just hang out with friends. It’s also a great place to bring the pooch for a quick break and drink before, after, or during a long walk. Dogs are welcomed at the bar. The trivia on tuesday is also pretty cool with some great prizes.

So glad that the old Twisted Shamrock II bartender took this place over and brought back everything (and more) that made it so great. Relaxed, friendly, non-​pretentious, neighborhood atmosphere. Good music, great and affordable drink selection, the option to order in food from local eateries, dog friendly, AND euchre on Wednesdays! I still have yet to try out the trivia on Tuesdays but I hear it’s a good time. Stop in, have a drink, make a new friend, and fall in love with the charm of J’s Pub.

A new owner and a new feel breath life into this old Chicago standby. Great for live music, watching a game, Tuesday night trivia, or just an ice cold pint. I was actually reluctant to review this gem since I hate to let everyone in on the secret!
