I am so sad that Twisted Shamrock II is shutting down. It really was the best bar in Lincoln Park. Went in on Friday and met the owner, Mike. Great guy! Hoping the new management doesn’t change a thing! Otherwise, I may just have to move south and frequent the original.

Since I work in Lincoln Park, I am always looking for a place to relax and unwind and after stumbling into this Twisted Shamrock one day, I can say that I am a firm regular! Its your typical small bar in LP with several oversized TVs(great on game days), along with with great beer selection and always some specials. Moreover, the service from some of the bartenders is stellar. I have never been ignored. On the contrary, these guys seem to make it their duty to get to know you and make you feel welcome at all times. Also, it does not seem to get overly crowded as some other LP bars which is a huge plus. The clientele seem to be a few years older than the typical LP bar crowd. This translates into less games, less drama and more sincere connections! Check it out some time!

Looking for a place to stop and have a quick drink. Saw that they had live music so I stopped in. The band was pretty good and they were doing $ 2 bud light cans on a saturday. Pretty sweet deal. Ended up staying a little longer than expected for the music.

I was walking by on a really hot day coming back from the dog park and noticed that they are dog friendly so I stopped in. Really laid back place and the bartender was so cool with my dog, made us feel welcome. They were running a special for $ 3 all draught beers! That even included local IPA’s. I have found out recently that they are also an Ohio State Bar, so I will be back for sure.

This bar gives a breath of fresh air to the strip that has been ruined by college students and cheap drink specials. Finally, the neighborhood has added a small tavern with some class, not geared towards douchebags with spiked hair and skanks with 3″ heels. A great beer selection on tap and a friendly bartender made me feel at home. The big screens were perfect to watch the game and the live music added to the cozy intimate speakeasy bar atmosphere. Great spot to take a date or watch a game.

Came in here on a Friday night after dinner. They had live music, good drink specials, and a great crowd. This bar is a great addition to the neighborhood. I will be back.
