McDonald’s

We may all know McDonalds yet there are differences worth noting. Over the past few months I’ve occupied a corner table @ the Lake & Ogden ‘Micky Dunes ’ while waiting on a buddy over at Stroger Hospital (Once known as Cook County Hospital). The menu is the same, as is the food, but not the staff ! They make it all Hum along creating a well run operation. A special mention for the lady who keeps it spic & span; so easily taken for granted until you pop into a place that doesn’t have an employee who actually takes pride in what they have been hired to do!

BEST Location! The drive thru attendants are sooooo nice and always remember me! Especially the woman who hands me my sugar free French vanilla iced coffees Monday through Friday in the mornings! She always wished me a good day and is always smiling!

We were in line waiting to order, three people came to the register but none of them helped us. A lady came up she took the order of another person who came in after us. I’d give them zero stars if Unilocal would let me.

My hockey games are always later at night, so occasionally I’ll swing down to this McD’s when I get home and need something to eat.
I can’t do this anymore. All three times I have been here the drive-​thru line has taken 20+ minutes. Adding a star because the food actually comes out halfway decent… but why does it take so long? Not to mention someone is usually acting a fool. Last night, everyone in the drive-​thru line would take turns rage-​blaring their horns as if that was going to speed things up. I don’t want get enveloped in a flash mob… just want to get my crappy fast food and get home.

Of course on the day that I really need breakfast, I sit down before work to eat and find out that I was given the wrong food. This cheese covered nasty sandwich I got is entirely inedible for me. Thanks a lot for the long day of being hungry McDonald’s.

Very clean Restaurant with friendly managers, food is done quickly with good customer service. just drive thru takes a while to get orders

Everyone there is nice and friendly. If something is wrong with my order the next day they always fix it. love this Mcdonalds

Not bad but I always get charge extra for bbq and I never get my bbq and Dan they tell me is extra like seriously I pay extra like 20 times

Absolute horrible service I waited in the drive-​through line which was very long only to get up to the front for them to tell me they don’t they don’t take credit cards. A complete waste of time

I used my credit card to buy a copy of coffee at the drive-​through of this McDonald’s. My bank contacted me several hours later to advise that a number of fraudulent charges appeared shortly after my purchase, including one at the same McDonald’s…
I don’t know how fraudsters actually do it (manual entry?), but you’d think that enough charge-​backs and reports to law enforcement would teach their employers that allowing their customers to be stolen from is bad.
I called to let the manager know what happened, but was told that the manager doesn’t speak English. Right.
Avoid.

It’s a McDonald’s, you either love it or you don’t. I happen to be of the persuasion that loves it!
Very clean, quick service, and the exact food you expect!

I mean, who reviews a McDonald’s but geez this place sucks. I waited 25 minutes for our food– which was all wrong missing half of the drinks and fries. They gave me a hard time about paying for a $ 1 drink that I ordered originally and they didn’t ring up. I don’t really care about the $ 1 but they acted like I was trying to get over on them and gave the worst attitude. Not to mention the lady who took my order said f**k three times and barely acknowledged me. Then the burgers were WRONG. Asked for no pickles– got a pickle. Took it back they gave me another burger. Opened the burger and there was an indention in the cheese and it smelled of pickles. Clearly they had just taken it off. Sent it back again and watched them make it. This is why I never go to mcdonalds.

By far the nicest McDonald’s I have ever been to in my life. Immaculate (even the restrooms!), modern and bright. I found the cashiers to be very friendly, and though I’m not a frequent McDonald’s customer, my pregnant self does enjoy their big breakfast platter!

Not bad, not great. Just needed a place to wait for an hour at the end of the night. For some reason, the piped in music started playing loudly. Chased me out of the store.

With the expectations for a McDonald’s, for fast food this is good. Everyone here is nice and I’ve never had them mess up an order. Bathrooms are REALLY clean, especially since this is the closest public bathroom the the Ashland stop on the green line.

If there was a rating of zero stars I would have used that one. I’m in McDonalds now bought a drink. Was not allowed to get a refill. Ok. That is fine I understand even though many Chicagoland McDonalds usually give one refill. But then, I asked for water in my cup which I did purchase and they wouldn’t not even give me water wanted to charge me .25 cents for water even though I already had a cup. What awful customer service. I’m reporting this McDonalds to the company headquarters so they know what an awful place this is and giving a bad reputation for McDonalds corp.

There are a lot McDangles haters out there apparently. I stopped in for breakfast early in the morning on my way home. Service went on without a hitch. Also happy to say I only have one check-​in here considering the proximity to my home.
Drive thru was quick and my order was correct. Can’t really go wrong with a breakfast for six bucks. The food was hot and I was happy. This definitely helped stave off the after effects of the beers from the night before.
Also, James S., you sir, are a dick. Putting a worthless one star review for every McDonald’s in Chicago because you found a «foreign object» in your wrap is not what Unilocal is for. Do everyone a favor and delete your account.

Poor Drive thru. If you want to get service, stay in the left lane for ordering, the right lane sensors do not work. You can be in the right lane all day and no one will service you.
Today was my third time trying the right lane and I had 5 cars go past in the left lane before I decided just to drive up to the window. I stood in front of the first window for about 1 – 2 minutes and no one came to ask what i wanted. I drove up to the second window and no one there either. Finally just took off.
Food is typical fast food McDonald’s run by inexperienced people. I used to order the same thing every time and the price was always different. The order gets mixed up a lot and you have to check your order before you leave the window. Many times i have gotten other peoples orders or wrong drink flavors. Also this place is skimpy on such things as fries. You can order a large order of fries, but realistically its the same size as a small. And if you mention it to the person at the window, they give you a dirty look like they don’t care.
Three strikes and your out!

They are really a good area Mickey D’s. pleased to say they actually do it right, are very clean and the employees are really nice and fast. I came on grand opening day and it was busy, and since my office is not far I do believe that this is the one that I frequent out of being near. I am not a fast food junkie to say the least, but that once in a while hit is perfect.
The dining room is really updated with TVs and a nice ambiance. A more «Yuppie» young crowd seems to be the norm here, which is surprisingly nice for me.
I can’t understand how anyone could mistake Mickey D’s for a 5 star, but they are a good source of getting you fat. So either you like them or you don’t, and again the staff is really nice at this location.
Although it is a small McDonald’s so don’t expect to have a get together here.

Totally disrespected at this McDonald’s
I pull up, both of the dual lanes have vehicles with customers ordering. Someone pulls up on my left and orders from that station. I then proceed to the right lane and I waited and I waited and I waited … Well over 10 minutes passes before I receive any attention… The guy in the car behind me thinks I’m ordering a side of beef!
In the meantime… 6+ plus vehicles get served and leave in the left lane before anyone takes my order… I left so angry… never to return… All those posted calories on the menu scared me off too…
I called McDonald’s corporate about my poor service… the verdict is out… but I will not come here again… No Way!
Never got my food!
Drove away angry!
I have no time for poor service!
