Close to the loop, this building offers one of the few green spaces that is publicly accessible to take a few moments to chill-out or to grab a take-out lunch and eat with a friend. On the 2nd floor roof, which has it’s own entrance between the entrance to the PepsiCo tower(hard to miss with the pictures of their products on the walls in the lobby) and the sustainability center on the corner, there are probably 8 circular park bench-style tables and a decent sized patch of grass. Along the walkway surrounding the grassy area, they have done some limited landscaping – I find the word«garden» to be a bit of a stretch, though. I would recommend it if you work in the western portion of the loop or near Union Station and the Presidential Towers, but I would not make a special trek. Over the lunch hour, it was quieter than I expected for a summer day. You can also see the solar panels and power-generating wind turbines that they have mounted there.
