At least 40 minute wait for average bar food. Service is decent. Some days better than others. Never been impressed though.

My fiancé and I wandered in on a Friday night. We had planned on going to a sandwich place across the street, but they only take cash, so we decided to check out pitchfork. They let us pick our own seating which was nice because it gave us the option of sitting at or near the bar where it was more lively and upbeat or in the dinning room where there was more privacy. We chose to sit away from everyone else next to the window. Lighting and atmosphere were perfect. There was country music playing, but not loud enough to annoy you if your not into it. Service was great, however they weren’t too busy at this time. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my fiancé had the bbq sampler. Both dishes were good, but pretty typical for bbq. Country theme of course.

This bar/restaurant is categorized as American(New)? The menu has bar standards like quesadillas, chicken caesar salad, burgers, mac n cheese, pulled pork sandwiches, and tacos. The menu was about as generic as you could get and the food arrived just barely warm, soggy and very basic. The service was friendly and fast so there’s that.

Stick a pitchfork in it, this place really sucks. I got the BBQ platter. The brisket was gross, two thirds of it were fat. The ribs and pulled pork had this intense off putting peppery taste that I could slightly mask by drowning it in their one good BBQ sauce out of the four available. I wanted to like this place. The server was nice, and the trivia was fun. But the food was terriblimente. Stick to Smoque, Chicago Q, and Smoke Daddy for good BBQ in Chicago.

Booked marked this spot a few days ago after seeing the buffalo chicken rolls in a picture. Had to check them out. I had a friend visiting from Memphis, we wanted a nice spot 2 chill, eat, & drink at. We made plans to go to another lounge that was closed. I showed my friend this place and she was game. We ordered a large pitcher of Sangria which was small honestly for $ 17.99, it was tasty, but had wayyyy too much ice and not enough sangria!!! We all ordered more separate drinks after that. I had a georgia peach that was like an iced tea with vodka(nothing special). Fast fwd to the food. We all ordered the Buffalo chicken rolls. FREAKINGAMAZING!!! Everyone loved them. They were huge and filling. No entrees needed after downing those bad boys. These things REALLY made me smile. Lol. The menu is pretty dull honestly, but these things will have me coming back again & again. The ambiance of the place is nice. A cool summertime spot all the windows open as if the restaurant is on a deck. It’s huge booth style seats were a plus too. Our waitress Erica was pretty cool too. Parking was good tonight too. Only thing that can help them is they need to pour more liquor!!! For $ 8 bucks a drink it should give u a gud buzz. We didn’t get that so we left on a search for a bar with a better pour hand!!!

Ate on patio very nice out. Ordered the buffalo wings, they were salty and didn’t have that crispiness to them. We also ordered the chicken and waffles they were outstanding. Huge beer selection

Solid food. Solid drinks. Good times. We come here after training occasionally. They do a lot of different things at this place, the most recent time we were here it was packed and they were hosting a «game night.» They try here and it shows.

Great Mac n cheese. Pulled pork tacos were good but I would’ve liked more of the cole slaw on them and a little less meat. Like the saloon theme. Drink prices could be a bit lower for this area.

I went here for dinner with a friend because we wanted to try the fried Oreos. We were a little thrown off since it was country night but no biggie. I got the pulled pork tacos and he got the mac and cheese — both our meals were great and the portions are huge. The star of the night was definitely the friend Oreos … It was delicious! The staff was great, overall awesome first time … Would definitely come again.

Meh! Salty wings, soggy wings, cold fries, Mac & cheese was ok at best and the burger was meh too! Great beer selection along w a great view of all the tv’s so there is not a bad seat in the house. The décor rustic chic and very nice. The service was great, our waitress was both attentive and kind. This wouldn’t be my first choice to return if I had other options but I wouldn’t disregard it entirely. Ok at best.

Great beer and great food! Try to the Texas lollipops! They are little sausages wrapped in bacon! So fucking delicious! Their beer prices are reasonable and they have a lot of seating. I stood when I went there for a popular game. But the place was very packed and the staff was very nice still.

I loved my evening at Pitchfork. We were here for a bday party with a few tables near the window reserved for us. Our waitress was the best waitress ever in life — sharp, cute, quick, accurate, attentive. I mean she was taking 5 orders at a time, with a whiskey selection of 140+ plus food, beer, etc, that’s pretty damn impressive. Our food was great, except for the mac and cheese which was not creamy enough and lacked major flavor. It could be much creamier with better cheeses and better rich flavors too. Otherwise, chicken egg rolls and quesadilla, brisket, all great. DJ starts at 10 on Saturdays and he rocked it. We were all dancing by that time and had a blast. I would go back in a millisecond.

Great whiskey selection! Everything off the menu is great, definitely not the healthiest but it’s tasty! The bucket of popcorn chicken is really good, the burgers are good! Service has always been gold and they will always accommodate TV requests We live in the area so we will definitely be back

We have been wanting to stop into this bbq spot for quite some time as it has been recommended to us by a few friends. I stopped in on a Sunday after brunch for a quick bite. The windows near the bar were open, which was a bit chilly, but to each its’ own. Service was pretty average, nothing spectacular stood out. We ordered our grub, which I got chicken and waffles and my partner ordered a pulled pork sandwich. Our food arrived no later than 10 minutes along with our drinks. My partner squeezed bbq sauce on his sandwich only to find it squirting all over his shirt, my hair and food because the tip was not cut as all the other bottles were. This was enough to turn anyone off as we were covered in gobs of sauce. Besides that, my waffle seemed to be overcooked which had a hardish texture and was very bland. I love waffles and this was by far the most disappointing waffle I have ever had. The chicken was pretty tasty, nice crisp outer crust and was seasoned well. It reminded me of home cooked fried chicken. The macaroni side was a big portion which was very creamy and tasty. I would like to try them again at a later time to re-evaluate and try some other food. Hopefully next time it will be a better experience.

I really liked the weekend vibe here. They were playing good music. The bar was spacious and very clean. If you are going to get food just stick to the ribs. I ordered the platter and did not care for their other meats, but the ribs were really great. The server was friendly and the prices were fair.

We walked on over New Year’s Day afternoon and it was pretty empty so we picked where we wanted to sit. The place has a country look to it. Very cute and unique décor pieces. Service was a little odd. I spilled my water and had to ask the waitress for napkins three times! I got the brisket and gravy and man was it good! But SO heavy! I ate the egg and a little bit of the brisket and gravy and still have four biscuits to take home. I got four meals out of this bad boy because it’s so big! I tried the shrimp po boy which was good but a tad bit dry. Fries were meh but the onion rings were yum. My strawberry juice was ok too. I heard it’s fun at night so I may check it out again since its walking distance from my friends place but not dying to go back to. I’d give it 3.5 stars.

I hesitated to come because of the mixed reviews but I’m so glad I did. My food was very good and reminded me of Texas. They fry things perfectly which is kinda a big deal. I’m here on Sunday during the Bears game and they still put the Cowboys game on for me in the corner. Waitress is great, nice crowd, ample TVs, and Fried Oreo’s!!! Happy Sunday to me… I’ll definately be back!

I went here for dinner one evening expecting to try some delicious bbq. I actually didn’t get that. i was surprised to find alcoholic root beer which I love. I got a sampler platter but it wasn’t that good. Nothing really stood out. Service was good and attentive. Food came out quickly but nothing was memorable or would make me go out of my way to try it again.
