Food quality is what it is. It’s Popeyes and a good option occasionally. SERVICE…TOTALLYDIFFERENTPLANET! If I could rate this place a 0 I would. On a number of occasions I have walked in and find the place to be chaotic. Yesterday was the last straw. Simple order simple questions meet with attitude. 2 of the managers were swearing in Spanish as if no one else could understand. I’m not sure they know what Customer Service is and it’s sad. I don’t have to go to your restaurant to eat but I choose to on occasion. Its horrible when a fast food establishment takes 15⁄20 minutes to process a simple order because the leadership is limited at best and they still get things wrong. They are rude, slow and not courteous at all. The only good thing I can say is the younger teenage workers were nicer than the manager. Popeyes needs to take time to review these complaints and respond accordingly. If you like Popeyes I would recommend trying to find another location and save yourself the aggravation of this location.

My dad likes coming here. Fast, friendly service(at least for me it was). One complaint is the seating area. If someone would step out once in a while and wipe down the tables, that’d be great.

Chicken is awesome. The staff not so much. Ordered a five piece tenders got 3 tenders and 2 tiny pieces of breading. Walked in to show them literally 30 seconds after I got my food pointed it out to the lady and she says that it’s five. I said the 2 pieces of breading is considered tenders? She said no then proceeded to say that she remembers putting 5 pieces in the bag. Really? I’m going to get out of my car to come and tell you your short 2 pieces cause I want to cheat you? I ask for the manager and some kid comes over who looked scared cause I think the staff intimidates him since half of them look like gangbangers. All said and done I got my 2 pieces but wasn’t happy I had to put up such a fight.

Slow service, they need to learn how to count $ even though they use the computers the staff still don’t know how to count…

Rude, Slow, Ignorant! Witnessed on 12÷25÷14 @ 630pm. «Wida»(cashier that day) was cursing right in front of her customers to the cook in back. I was a few customers behind waiting to be assisted and she was so loud! «Omg haha I’m gonna kick your ass» — was what she said. I said ok maybe it slipped out, but it continued on… Eventually when it was my turn I made it very obvious with my head turning to the direction over hearing on her & his response so fortunately she gave up & realized how loud she was. I waited twenty minutes for my order & I was very patient. It’s christmas — no one wants to work. BUT! When your on the clock you should act like it. Especially at the appropriate pace. Watching the cashiers walk back and fourth distracting the back employees was really ticking other customers off. So many Mis-packs were being made so basically everyone was rechecking their bags. It was a struggle and for the manager to not care made me change my mind about this place. If you don’t care about proper customer service, do you even care about your customers period? Sucks — I live a block away and now I’m driving to Belmont and Laramie for my fries :(a mission and a half! Oh well.

I said 2 orders of red beans and rice, got home and saw that I had 2 orders of mashed potatoes(hate their mashed potatoes). I’m an easy going guy and I won’t complain about much of the food, it’s good and typical of a Popeyes, but PLEASE just get my F/_/c king order right!!! One of my biggest problems with fast food restaurants which is why I could care less about them protesting for higher wages.

I have ordered here a total of 5 times, all through the drive-thru, and I have never received my food at the window. I have always been instructed to pull into a parking space and wait. I have worked in fast food(however many years ago), and I feel that the amount of times I have been asked to move and wait is a bit wonky. I normally order standard items from the menu, so the fact the don’t have chicken available for passage through the window makes me a bit annoyed. However, it is fast food. It is what it is.

Who’s got two wings and is mighty tasty??? A chicken. Who’s got two thumbs and LOOOOVES chicken??? THISGUY. To me Popeye’s has the best tasting fast food fried chicken in the world… the world I tells ya!!! Sometimes the service can get slow, but that’s because people be going cray for that insanely delicious, battered and deep fried bird. I rarely eat here, I almost always use the drive thru. The chicken is always moist, and crunchy, and mmmmm-mighty tasty. I also recommend the cajun rice, and the can’t go wrong with some corn on the cob. I can smell that chicken just typing this review. Well I gotta go.

Wow — I had an entirely different experience than Angie.(the first and previous reviewer). We ordered a 16 piece tender combination with 8 biscuits and 3 large sides. We actually received more than 16 good-sized pieces and an extra biscuit to boot. Attendant told me it would be about a 5 minute wait, but I think it was even less than that. The manager gave my 10 year old nephew a cup so he could enjoy some soda pop while we were waiting — no charge. When we got the food home, it was nicely done and cooked without any excessive pockets or spots of grease. Total opposite experience of my venture to the Popeye’s in Oak Park on Madison Ave(see my review). This place is definitely worthy of a return trip.

The food is ok, but the staff makes it a two star restatraunt. There is a Latino lady with scary drawn on eyebrows and lots on makeup is the worse! She usually works the drive thru and always have an attitude. Especially when you ask for items like napkins and hot sauce! The manager looks like a tall indian man who is either clueless or cares less about the customers. I’ve come in here on two seperate occasions only to find out I was shorted biscuits because the guy who took my order doesnt know what a dozen biscuits is. Oh dont dare come in with a coupon, they act like you printed it at home or something!!! Beware of this place and count EVERYTHING when leaving!!!
