It’s a neighborhood bar with decent food and a very good craft beer selection. With over a dozen craft beers on tap(plus Miller Lite) and a 5 – 6 page bottle/can list, there’s plenty to choose from. It’s by no means a gastropub, but the burgers are big and prepared in front of you. Bianca was very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be going back.

I have been going to this place ever since I moved into the neighborhood four years ago. Absolutely a great place to grab a good beer. Joe and Mary who own the spot are very friendly and the bartenders are just as good. They have great daily specials on drinks and food everyday of the week. Where else on a Monday are you gonna get a great beef sandwich with fries for a mere five backs and the serving is substantial. Speaking of the food I must say the the burgers are probably one of the best I have ever had and if your in there on a Saturday night you can’t go wrong with the steak sandwich special they have going on. As far as drinks they have a great selection of craft beers and Joe always has a good selection of beers on tap. As far as service I think they have a great staff. Jay, Beeata, Carol and Erica definitely know how to serve up great food, drinks, and conversation. Other perks include a pool table and great juke box. Oh and how can I forget plenty of TV’s to catch any Cubs, Sox, Bear, Bulls, or Blackhawks game.

Nice place, but the owner ruins it. Apparently he deems it appropriate to judge his patrons by their beer choice. Don’t waste your time here. .and don’t give a guy like this your money.

Good food, good beer, decent ambiance — but it’s a dive bar, so don’t expect a ton. My boyfriend says they pour an excellent Guinness(see Andrew H.‘s review), and they had my favorite Stiegl grapefruit radler, so I was really happy! The drinks are also a great price. We also ordered food and a few drinks. I was mostly pleased with my order — I had a burger with onion rings, and everything was delicious… except for the patty. Maybe it was just the shape of it, but it didn’t taste super fresh. The burger also fell apart a little as I ate it, but the onion rings were the best I’ve ever had. Waitstaff is nice and does a good job. I’ll come back!

They pour an excellent pint of Guinness! It was important to lead off with that very particular feedback because of how many places don’t seem to actually know how to do this in a city with a prevalent Irish heritage. The fact that these delicious pints are only $ 5 is even more reason to have more than one. This is a regular Monday night place for myself and a few friends after teaching bagpipes and drums at the Irish American Heritage Center a couple blocks away. Whether we come hungry for any of the tasty yet inexpensive fare, or just thirsty for the excellent and nicely priced draught selection, Rabbit’s never disappoints.

Craft beers, cheap drinks, full bar, pool table, darts, karaōke, all around tvs, performer on weekends, and daily specials. Oh, and the soup of the day is whiskey.

This is a place where beer snobs and swill-drinkers alike can sit shoulder to shoulder and agree the prices and selection are pretty awesome for a neighborhood dive. Settle in at the bar for a Bulls game with a $ 3 tallboy of PBR($ 2 Tuesdays) or order a DogFishHead 60, 90 or 120(really! 120! WTH?) Fun, friendly, cheap with nice TVs, decent food and pool+darts.

Rabbits is okay. My co– workers and I order from Rabbits for lunch from time to time. I am not a fan of their burgers the patties taste frozen so I usually go for the wings. The wings do not come with celery and you do have to request it if you want it and the blue cheese dressing tastes weird. The mac and cheese bites are really good too. I’ve only ever had one drink at Rabbits and it was a long island. It wasn’t special. All its a local watering hole that has food next door to my job so on occasion I don’t mind ordering from here when I am at work and need a quick bite for lunch, other than that nah.

Very low key bar with a fantastic(and always updated beermenus) tap list of craft beer. Prices can’t be beat. Tuesday night trivia(8pm) is a cool bonus. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area.

Stopped in for a beer today. Had the Sam Adams double bock. Excellent selection of beers. Didn’t try the food but the prices look great. Will definitely be back.

Top notch craft beer in an unpretentious dive bar. The owner really keeps a wide variety of good stuff and cycles through it so there’s almost always something you haven’t had before(or would love to have again).

Such an awesome neighborhood spot. Every bartender has been phenomenal. TV’s, pool tables, and drink prices are all a recipe for a good time.

Good sandwiches and good beer make any afternoon a good one. This bar is the perfect out-of-the-way place to enjoy craft beer from all over the region. Not only is it good craft beer, it is well-priced craft beer. It’s a nice enough place to kill time waiting for a bus, or to kick back after work. Sometime, I’ll have to get breakfast before work, as the food I enjoy after work is quite delicious. I’m swinging by after work today.

The food is generic bar grub. But the craft beer selection(on draft and bottles) is awesome! The service is great too. Seems like a great place to hang out(it’s by my work, and not home or I would know more definitively).

What a great place to have a beer with some very good people. Great staff and owners and food… now onto the one of the best beer lists in the city. The ever changing tap list will keep you on your toes waiting to see what’s next.

So, I can go down to Wicker Park and pay $ 8.50 for a beer, or I can hang out here with a couple of buddies, each of us drink as much beer as we can safely handle, and spend about $ 40 total. Yeah, tough decision. Seriously, this is the quintessential neighborhood bar. Pool table, darts, trivia on Tuesdays, cheap drinks, and surprisingly good burgers. The locals are occasionally a bit rambunctious but they mean well. Save your money and just come here if you are in the neighborhood already.

The neighborhood this bar is located in is most certainly not Sauganash. It is Forest Glen. I have no idea where Unilocal gets the neighborhood information from, but they are wrong way too often. Anyways, this bar is a decent«dive»(as some people may call it), although I just look at it as a regular«old school» Chicago bar. The million dollar rehabbed theme bars have ruined the bar scene in this city. This place needs to live on.

This place is just perfectly«divey» and friendly, exactly what the Dr. ordered on a Friday afternoon. I have now been here several times and each time its feels like its the same crowd that tries to buy you shots and drinks. Its fantastic! Everyone raves about the food, so look forward to trying that soon. Thank you Rabbits for being the perfect place to stop taking yourself seriously after work…

I’ve been here for Hawk’s games after work, cause it’s close and I get out pretty late/when they usually start anyway. Good vibes, good cheap drinks/beer and I don’t feel like everyone’s looking at me funny cause I’m not a regular. Super relaxed place, I wish I came here more often. Also stopped in today to see if they had any pop I could buy ’cause I forgot to order some with lunch order from a pizza place nearby. The owner was super awesome and gave me a 2 liter he had from a previous order himself, just threw it in with my order of a cup of pop. I love neighborhood places, good friendly people with an awesome work/service ethic. I know it looks a little weary from the outside, but the bathrooms are clean and bright, and there’s a jukebox. What more could you need?
