Um, have these reviewers ever eaten Godiva? Rocky mountain tastes like plastic after you’ve eaten Godiva. The Rocky Mountain carmels are a joke. Really, just plasticene and waxy. Sorry but not sorry. Do a side by side tasting and you’ll see.

This Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory location is in Terminal B at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Stopped in and picked up a box of assorted Chocolates to give to the flight crew as a gift for the flight from Chicago back to Washington Dulles International Airport. Of course everything is more expensive here…

Yummy! Get an exotic caramel apple cut up for you and eat that decadent thing right there in O’Hare while people look on and wish they had too! I tried the Snow ball: Carmel apple rolled in white chocolate, then coconut. Yes. YUM! Do it now!

Awesome chocolate but way over priced and hard as a rock. The only good piece of chocolate is the classic rocky road. Now, that’s worth it.

Located in the Chicago Airport, this place is a standard candy, weigh and pay shop. So the issue with these types of shops is the price! The candy, regardless of quality, ends up being super expensive. However, when you’re waiting for a flight, you don’t care how much it costs, candied apples will make you happy. period. end of story.

Drool-worthy sweet treats! The taste and quality are reflected in the price, but they’re also located at ORD, so go figure. The milk and dark chocolate Almond Bears are noteworthy. Like the Almond Myrtle from Long Grove that I used to be able to get from Macy’s – but I digress. Stop in here when you want to console yourself after a long day in the air, or before beginning a journey of great distance, or if you just happen to want a fabulous piece of chocolatealmondcaramel goodness!

I absolutely loved my apple pie apple! It was delicious. Also, they go above and beyond and they actually cut mine up for me do I didn’t have to chew into my candy apple. It was the best treat I’ve had in a while.

After I ate a dismal meal across the way I decided I wanted something sweet. I like Rocky Mountain Chocolate because you can get the no added sugar sweets. I really like the almond clusters as I can get some chocolate and protein. I usually rate these locations as a 4 or 5 stars, but the cashier was not friendly at all. Felt like I was bothering her by wanting to buy something. Maybe she was just having a bad day. The chocolate was excellent as always and if your in the mood for sweets it’s worth a stop.

I don’t get reviews that have nothing but positive praise but only offer a few stars. And reviews where someone says they don’t usually go for food X but got it anyway and ‘meh’… well if you don’t like said food item anyway, why review it! Anyhoo… noticed this gem near the B14 gate in the United terminal. My husband doesn’t usually go for caramel apples because they are such a bear to eat but I was drooling for one after an awesome dinner at the new Tortas place. I got a caramel apple that was covered with peanuts and drizzled with chocolate. The friendly woman working the counter cut it and we were on our merry way. We curled up, plugged in the iPad to start a movie and chowed down on the most amazing caramel apple. Having it chopped makes a HUGE difference — an attempt at lady-like eating of this treat is MUCH more attainable and it is far less messy. My husband kept commenting on how amazed he was at how good it tasted. They aren’t cheap but nothing at an airport is and this was an awesome treat. Score yet another one for me… and Unilocal,of course! :)

As I walked off the plane the other night, I wanted something sweet and I passed by RMCF. Looked decent enough — lots of caramel apple selections — and they even offer to slice them for you. While they looked good, caramel apples aren’t really my thing, so I went inside for a cashew cluster. It tasted ok, but nothing special and at over $ 2 for a relatively small piece of chocolate, I was expecting more.

You sure«ROCK» my boat! Why do your caramel apples have to make me drool?! Why do you offer slicing of my apple so I can devour it immediately? Why Oh Why?! Because… Rocky Mountain… You’re simply amazing!!! When I visited this location at OHare, they had an offer of ‘buy 3 get 1 free’ on caramel apples. What do I do? Yep, $ 25 worth of goodness in this great belly of mine. My damage: German Chocolate Apple Bear Claw Regular Caramel only Peanut covered Caramel Fam loved it and devoured it with me.
