Excellent NY-style thin crust pizza. I ordered here for first time tonight and it was delicious. It is very hard to find quality thin crust in the city, but now I know where to look. Highly recommended.

Ordered delivery from here las night, one medium supreme pizza. Delivery came on time. Decent price. Toppings were big, tasty, and fresh, cheese and sauce were OK. The crust though… the most soggy, poorly made crust I’ve ever had. Having great toppings can’t justify messing up the basic component of the pizza. Not gonna order from here again.

Ordered delivery and order never came. The people I talked to when I called did not provide any information other than«it’s on it’s way». Had to call eat24 to get a refund. Ridiculous and terrible customer service.

I really really loved this pizza. I don’t have much more to say but that I thought it was amazing. I loved the crust, I loved the cheese, the sauce and the toppings. Everything was so good! I’ll definitely be ordering from here again very, very soon! Yum!

Best pizza I have had in allllll of Chicago. The new owner goes above good customer service and really cares about his product. Heard a possible expansion to Schaumburg may happen and if so… I CAN’T WAIT!!!

We came to Chicago to move our daughter to new apt. Si Pizza was a few blocks away and there were 5 of us. Simon the owner, was charming, welcoming and proud of his product. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were served on these real cool space saving pizza serving pans. Nice and popping hot. Most delicious pizza sauce ever. Private recipe sauce which is my big indicator of good pizza. We will be sure to Return when we return to Chicago, but our Chicago daughters and their friends will return soon! Great service, great food. Highly reckoned you try it!

Late night thin crust run. It was pretty good; the sauce, toppings, really liked it. A bit pricey for a 12″ thin crust pizza though. $ 20 for sausage, Canadian bacon, olives, and artichoces.

OMGTHISPIZZAISSOOOOOGOOD. Me & the BF ordered a pizza from here last Saturday. We had a large pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños. Guy on the phone was friendly and the pizza arrived exactly when they said it would(in 45mins). The pizza was AMAZING. The cheese was abundant and tasted super fresh and high quality, the topping were yummy, and crust was nice and thin with a nice chew to it. My favorite part is I think they put some kind of garlic butter or something on the pizza… it just had this amazing garlic flavor, so good! On the negative side: I felt like the crust could have been crispier if they’d cooked the pizza for a few extra mins. I prefer my thin crust pizza crispy, but that’s a personal preference. The only real problem was that the pizza was so small! For a large pizza, it was only $ 25(including the two toppings plus delivery) but the pizza was only 8 slices!?? I’d say it was about the size of a medium pizza from Domino’s, if that gives you a frame of reference. Normally when we order a large we expect a filling meal, plus a few slices for leftovers the next day! But alas, we ate the entire pizza for dinner. I was ok, but my BF said he was still hungry and could have gone for another two slices or so. That being said, it’s not a deal breaker, but something to consider. If, for example, I was a mother from a family of four and had ordered a «large» for my family’s dinner, I would have been pretty disappointed by the size of the pizza. I do want to emphasize… THISPIZZAISDELICIOUS. I’m honestly so excited to eat it again. Do yourself a favor and try Si-Pie tonight!!!

It was ok, not great. So let me first say the service was not hot. The guy at the cash register this past Friday evening was unprofessional. He seemed to be mocking the customers. I asked one of the guys for a straw and he pointed to a bin in front of him, as if to say«get it yourself.» Whatev. The ambiance was whatever. The one thing I noticed is that the upholstered stools by the window are soiled and unkept. I was also annoyed that napkins are not readily available at each table. The pizza itself had a nice flavor, except that it was drowning in grease. Idk if I’ll return.

OK, let me start off by saying that I’m kind of particular about pizza. It’s gotta be flavorful, it MUST be legit. You can tell when some«love and/or effort» goes into the pizza. I had a chorizo & onion pizza. It tasted good while it was HOT!!! Almost burned my brains out! However, I didn’t feel anything. I ate it and didn’t say, «YUM!!» when I got through. I was just like,“OK, not bad but I didn’t have to come all the way to the NORTH side for this.” It was alright, not nasty… just OK. I don’t think I’ll be back… too far to go for Pizza. I mean I was raised on Mimmos Pizza in Philly!!! C’mon Chi-town, step up!!!

Hands down my favorite pizza joint in Chicago! You will not get ripped off at this place. Plenty of pizza for your buck! Simon(the owner) is so nice and accommodating. He really cares about his customers and their experience at Si-pie! Go there! Eat pizza! Talk to Simon!

I’m a truck driver and had a long break. I decided to go into the city for the day. A friend picked me up in Gary and off to Chicago we went. We were hungry and in the mood for some pizza. Checked Unilocal and saw great reviews for this place. The owner was there and he was awesome. He knew customers that came in or that were passing by. We aren’t from the area and he made us feel very welcome. Something we didn’t expect in a big city. The pizza was AMAZING! I’m usually not a fan of thin crust, but this was beyond good pizza. Everything was just right, perfect amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Wasn’t messy and the cheese didn’t fall off when eating like a lot of pizza I’ve had. The fountain sodas were really good too(they make their own). If you are looking for something quick and filling you need to stop in here. I can’t wait to get back to Chicago and eat here again. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you to the owner(Simon I think? Sorry if I’m wrong) for making us feel at home. We are both from small towns and felt a little out of place in the big city. He definitely changed that for us.

Awesome pizzeria in Lakeview. Very kid-friendly. The owner let my son draw on his sandwich board and even put it outside for all to see when he was done! My son was so proud. Seriously cool guy, like a young male version of an Italian grandma, always making sure you’re well fed and satisfied. The pizza is unbelievably good – huge slices, ample sauce and the Shawarma is to-die-for. Definitely making this our go-to when we’re in the area.

Average pizza. But $ 5.50 for a slice of thin crust cheese pizza seems a bit high to me. They offer to warm it up, but that means that A) it isn’t still hot from the oven and B) is not kept hot enough in the warmer, neither is good in my opinion. Also, the point of swinging in to pick up a quick slice is that you don’t want to wait. Waiting for warmer pizza is great if you have time, but my slice wasn’t very warm straight out of the display. The pizza is ok, service is fine, but I think the price is high compared with what you can get nearby.

The owner, the person who’s making pizzas, and the person who works at Si-pizza all the time by himself did an amazing job running this pizza restaurant. Well, they are the same person-Simon!: P He is extremely nice and friendly! Simon is really passionate on what he’s doing. We wish him succeed. :) The pizza was really delicious too!!! I’m not a big fan of pizza, but yes it’s really yummy!!! You can see him make pizza step by step too. It’s cool, isn’t??! I loved it! We know you’re reading Simon. We’ll go back and see you at Si-pizza soon!

So impressed with this business/business owner. Had received a pizza with wrong toppings and the owner personally called me to figure out what happened. Will be supporting this small business again.

My wife, my son and I visited Loyola University and after that we were hungry. We drove for about 15 minutes until we decided to stop for lunch. We searched in Unilocal for pizza and we found Si-Pie around the corner. Small restaurant, but excellent thin crust pizza. The sauce is phenomenal, delicious cheese and perfect amount of ingredients. But the best part was the customer service: Outstanding! I have never felt so «at home». Awesome welcome, very polite and smiling, Simon treated us as family. He was checking on us every so often, he gave us a discount and at the end, he said he wanted us to become regulars. Honestly, we will. The food was great, the price reasonable and the best service ever. Thanks for everything!

Today was my first trip to this place. Walked in and the guy was soooooo nice, very accommodating and had such a great aurora about him, sounds cheesy I know, but he was so cool. The pizza was fantastic however, the main reason I am reviewing is because of the way he talks to the people that service his establishment! As I was there, there was a delivery guy delivering all sorts of things like food, boxes etc… anywho, the owner talked to him like he was a customer and treated him with respect. He offered him a drink and had small conversation etc. That to me truly embraces CUSTOMERSERVICE and how you treat all clients(internal and external). Well done! Highly recommend!

If you are ever in the mood for a great slice of NY style pizza, look no further. Two weeks ago, I tried Chicago style pizza for the first time, and can now understand why most people from Chicago don’t like deep dish pizza. My pizza from Si-Pie was the antithesis of that experience. The crust was thin and crispy, the cheese gooey and rich. I’ve eaten here twice now, and have tried the sausage, pepperoni, and cheese with yeero. All three were fantastic, and I especially liked the yeero. All the pizzas here are made to order, unless you’re in a hurry, in which case you can get a gigantic cheese, pepperoni, or sausage pizza by the slice for 5 bucks. Simon is a very enthusiastic and attentive owner. I had been looking forward to the yeero sandwich, but unfortunately, they are discontinued along with the chicken shawarmas and falafels. Simon informed me that they were not as popular and the style(falafels were Lebanese-style and didn’t have parsley) was unfamiliar to some. What a shame, I would have loved to try them. I will order the Mediterranean pizza next time since I enjoyed the yeero so much. I will definitely be back for the pizza, and I love that this place is open so late everyday. Every neighborhood needs a dependable place where someone can get get a delicious gooey NY style pizza late at night and I’ve found mine.

I was nervous going in. This is the lair of my ex-arch nemesis, Doug of Pie-Hole. You see, circa 2012 a furious online battle raged between me, intrepid Unilocal reporter, and Doug, butt joke purveyor and sometime pizza maker. It’s a long story so I’ll skip it, but let’s just say I approached Si-Pie with a healthy dose of caution. But I approached nonetheless, out of curiosity as to what the new place was like and for love of pizza. I do love pizza. And after noting the rave reviews on Unilocal, there was nothing left to do except walk the 50 steps from my shoebox apt and give it a try. The Pie Hole sign is gone and has been replaced with a Si-Pie sign(smart). The rest, however, is almost identical to what was there before. From the tables, to the counter, to the ovens(makes sense). Same, same, same. If there were packages of napkins left behind somewhere in the back, I’ll guarantee he’s loaded them into the dispensers. Most of the pizza is made to order as before, but there’s also a few ready made options for the man on the go. I opted for the ready made pepperoni. To give it a bit more heat, it was put through the pizza oven conveyor belt. While I waited, some other dudes’ slice slid out and was duly packed and readied. I only point this out because subsequent to this, a very strange exchange ensued between the clerk(Simon of Si-Pie??) and the dude who was at most ten feet away tip tapping on his phone in a texting trance. I should also add that the clerk had a sparse mustache and mannerisms more than a little bit reminiscent of Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite. Which was in and of itself amazing enough. «hey» exclaimed the clerk(in a sexy whisper) –waits 20 seconds which feel like an eternity «hey your order is ready» exclaimed the clerk(in a sexy whisper) –waits another 20 seconds which feel like an eternity At this point I considered jumping in to help resolve the situation But perplexed, I just kept watching to see what would happen next. «hey» exclaims the clerk(in a sexy whisper) –Waits another 20 seconds After more silence the dude finally looked up to find me and Pedro staring at him with wide eyed wonderment. Realizing that something was amiss he retorted «Oh?!? is my order ready» He then picks on his pizza box and exits the restaurant. Aaand scene. After this peculiar exchange, my slice was just about out of the pizza toaster. Paying careful attention to the progress of my slice, once ready, I promptly paid my $ 5 or $ 6 bucks(seems high) and sauntered back to my shoebox apt to watch some soccer and scarf down some delicious pizza. It’s a big thin slice. That doesn’t fit in the box so about one third is folded over. There’s also a packet of Parmesan and a packet of cracked peppers thrown on top. I’ll bet 1:5 or possibly even 1:10 that that box is leftover from Doug of Pie Hole. That’s easy money. One look at the pools of grease floating on top of this cheap slice, made me seriously consider throwing it away without so much as a bite. However, after reviewing my options in the refrigerator, I decided to plow ahead. Ugh. Not good. I couldn’t taste any sauce. The cheese seemed cheap. I was glad when it was over. I have to say, the rave reviews for Si-Pie defy logic. So much so, that it can only be that they are friends and family of the owner. There’s just no god-damn way this is a 5 star place. Whole foods pizza is better. 7 – 11 pizza is better. Frozen pizza you heat up is better. Si-Pie is new. And they have good pizza making equipment. So I hope they do a better job going forward. That’s certainly possible. Or else the next pizza place after them does a better job. At some point it would be super cool if there was a good pizza place nearby. And if the new owner happens to have an uncanny resemblance to a character from an offbeat movie that’d be all the better.
