This is a terrible Starbucks. The barista rolled their eyes at me when I ordered my drink light? Pretty rude and it look 11 minutes to get a Frappuccino and there were 3 ppl waiting for a drink ahead of me. First & last time!

I am giving 2 stars because I come here often and I love that it’s always open, because I’m such a nite owl. But I’m sorry, when I ask for something to be made with Soy milk and it is made with regular dairy, it’s pretty upsetting. I am both vegan and lactose intolerant and I never eat dairy products so taking a big drink from my cup was quite a shock and very disappointing. Not sure what the problem is but the baristas need to be more careful.

Horrible experience this week and the Management did nothing. A customer called two other customers the«n» word and threaten them. The issue was witnessed by employees and presented to the manager, who did nothing. I assume you have a protocol for when a costumer is threatening people in your establishment and calling them racist slurs? Can we get some sort of answers here on how you are going to fix your obvious lack of courage in the face of such disgusting behavior?

Some friends came here and we’re called racial slurs and the manager seemed to be indifferent. I’ve never really heard of or believed customer service could be this awful but something’s really needs to be done about this place.

There used to be a fireplace and comfy chairs. They’ve since removed them because people were getting too comfortable and stayed too long. Homeless aren’t welcome even if they pay for coffee. And a patron called my friend a deplorable racial slur and the manager did nothing. This location needs to be shut down.

The management/managers on duty allow racial slurs in the establishment. Friends of mine went to this location yesterday and were called the N word by a random customer. Rather than asking the person who made the racial slurs to leave, the manager on duty instead allowed them to stay because they were a ‘paying customer.’ This is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable. I will no longer be frequenting this(or any for that matter) Starbucks. It is unbelievable that action was not taken immediately. I will no longer be going here or any Starbucks because of the acceptance of such behavior.

Two Black females were called the«n» word and threaten by a White woman in front of several customers. When this issue was presented to Amber, the manager, she did nothing. We’ve called several times to find out how this matter is going to be addressed and their phone is off the hook. How does Starbucks plan to address this horrible issue? Is it okay for this woman to behave this way because she’s White? The Black females were being threatened were paying customers and well known in the community. I hope to see this issue addressed. As a Black female, I don’t want to feel like I’m not welcomed as a paying customer in an establishment that I enjoy. Until this matter is properly addressed, myself and many others in the community will continue to encourage the boycott of Starbucks.

This was already a sketchy location filled with occasionally troublesome loiterers, and staffed by a worn out and often indifferent staff. if not for being located under Second City, they likely wouldn’t get most of the business they do get. Earlier this past Sunday the staff and manager stood by while two black friends of mine were repeatedly harassed and called racist epithets by another customer. The staff refused to deny service and throw out the racist customer(standard protocol in any other retail business, let alone any other Starbucks) even after the manager was directly confronted and asked to address it. Disgraceful, and possibly done out of solidarity for the offending customer’s racism. Starbucks Corporate needs to step in and have the offending employees removed. It’s clear, even aside from this incident, that they are unfit to run a welcoming Starbucks location.

Update: there have been many complaints about the service, but in my experience the employees have been polite and on point. Minus another star though because it smells so terrible right now.

I love this Starbucks! It’s a pit stop for my runner friends and I because it’s so convenient to our running store. Speedy service considering that it’s always packed(even at 6 am). This is a happening place. The baristas are friendly and when you’re a regular they remember your order. Maybe I shouldn’t leave such a glowing review because then it’ll get even more busy.

Something very admirable about a business open 24 hours. A non closing coffee shop is especially remarkable. Only a certain kind of quiet beauty exists in night. Where even the most mundane of tasks is imbued with a mysterious quality for being cloaked in darkness as it moves in solitude. This type of java joint serves those weirdos. The night walkers. Insomniacs, neurotic study fiends, street people seeking a cup of warmth, grave yard shift workers. Iconoclasts. I was each of the above, at one time or another. Because it’s one of the lone 24⁄7 Starbucks and its location its always business. The coffee is the same brew as the other spots. Reliable! The wifi is strong. The service is welcoming. This place is a trusty port in the storm for its customers, just like how even the most desolate and cold evening is still bit promising, since the warm crawling fingers of dawn are never far in the dark. Waiting. Waiting.

This starbucks is just really gross and if it wasn’t the only one open when I’m going to work in the early morning I would avoid it all costs. It all starts with the cheap smelling air freshener when you walk in the door, the bums napping on the tables are an added touch as its a 24 hour location. I think the worst part of this location is the customer service, or lack there of. I’ve never seen such miserable baristas in the morning moving at a snails pace.

I love this place!!! I only come here late at night. The environment puts me in a relaxed and cool state. It’s clean, spacious, plenty of table for seating 1, 2, 3 or more. Plenty of outlets. Customers aren’t forged together. Windows: I’m a people watcher and laying back & glazing outside the window. View the scenery. Music: great! Coffee: it’s Starbucks!

This review is for the awesome morning-early afternoon crew! They are the best! I’m a matcha green tea maniac and they all know it, especially Sharon. Tyler is the funny man of the group and always makes me laugh when he’s there. I wish I knew everyone’s names so I can mention them here, but I remember all of their faces. Great group of people! Thanks for being awesome guys!!!

This in my favorite Starbucks in the city! It opens 24⁄7 and has some carrel desks for study! The store is spacious and has lots of window seats that allows me to grasp a view of old town during breaks:))

Great customer service from the baristas. Changed the meat on my sandwich, warmed my cookie, and made me a Frappuccino with coconut milk and no coffee. I’m a believer!

They get one more star than deserved for being 24 hrs. And that can’t be easy. Cons: Maybe if management was better they would be happier maybe nicer baristas? I never saw a supervisor on the floor once the hours I spent here in the last week. Condiment bar was a mess, never once did I see anyone clean it or change the milks. Milks were warm. If you watched them make your beverage you will see the crusted up «sanitizer» rag they use to clean their steam wand every time they make a drink. I had ordered a hot chocolate with a stick of butter at the bottom. When I got my hot chocolate I asked if there was the butter. The barista told me no. Then asked if I was serious, told me she didn’t feel like remaking it for me. After I insisted a few times, she decided to make my drink, as I requested, and as it was printed on my cup. God forbid I asked for a lemon pound cake they forgot to give me. It was thrown. Literally tossed onto the counter. Still in the packaging with their day dot on it. When I asked for the little pastry bag(that they are supposed to come in) they gave me a bag with handles. When I told her that I had meant the pastry bag. She threw a white bag on the counter roller her eyes and walked away. Maybe a 24 hr Starbucks is needed here but clearly, the staff can’t handle it.

Large corner Starbucks with great seating. However, there is awkward lighting. It is dark with spotlights. Little fire in one of the spotlights in the middle of the room but it’s definitely NOT cozy. Only ok sevice. There was no soap in both bathrooms and I had to wait 20 minutes for them to fill it on a Saturday evening. BATHROOMS: two, single, unisex bathrooms. Lines to wait for them. Acts as public restroom for this area. Pretty cool that it’s 24 hr… if you can wifi. It’s SO slow when you do have it. A lot of cops come in to use the bathrooms and for coffee. UPDATE: the bathrooms are DISGUSTING!!! Urine everywhere. Toilet paper on the ground. Who knows what all over the seat. Come early if you need to go.: /

I’m sitting here at 3am with Victoria W & Wolf R(thanks for keeping me company in my all nighter guys!!!) writing this review which makes me feel kind of creepy for some reason. The best thing about this Starbucks is that it’s open 24⁄7! Yea huh! TWENTYFOURHOURS, SEVENDAYS A WEEK. It’s got all the usual Starbucks stuff — drinks, food, tables, whatevas. I used to frequent this spot back in college because a Starbucks open all night is the bomb and remember it being packed to the brims. Well, not tonight my friends. I would say there are 20 – 30 of us this evening. If you’re here late at night, they make you move from side to side as they mop up various areas. It’s kind of funny because then everyone is shoved, cramped up on one side of the giant place while the other side is completely empty. Strange. Now right now, I’m diggin’ this location because they are playing Motown music! And I lOoOoOOooOve Motown jams! I also like that there was quite enough parking outside and since it was past 10pm — FREE parking. They have some nice, cushy seats for chillaxing but also sturdy desks to get your study on! Now, this location is surrounded by bars so you can expect a few to stumble in here and there. On my most recent visit, a young fiery haired gentlemen walked in obliterated. He stood in the doorway giggling and said«Who wants to see me do a — –» and before he could finish his sentence, he tumbled to the ground. He laid there a good 20 seconds laughing before he finally got up. I never found out what exactly he wanted to show us non-wasted coffee shop chillers. Although after he walked around a bit did leave us with one parting thought as he stood in the doorway, «F*** White people!!!» he screamed and walked out laughing. Highlight of my evening. Okay I’m clearly very tired with all the caps and explanation marks I’m using. In closing, thank heaven for this 24 hours coffee joint.
