Agree with all the other reviews. Find another Starbucks. They are extremely rude, make the drinks wrong and argue with you when you ask them to fix it.

There are 10 000 Starbucks in the loop. Choose another. Waited 5+ minutes for my drink. It was wrong. Sure, they remade it, but I waited another 5 minutes, and it was served with a side of attitude. Charming.

Awful. It should never take 20 minutes to receive your drink from Starbucks. It was the morning rush and frankly it looked well-​staffed. There were a bunch of employees behind the counter, who all actually looked like they were working. I’m not sure why it took so long for everyone to get their orders. When I walked in, there wasn’t a line to order but there was a mob of folks waiting for their drinks. It gave me pause but I already had my mind set on morning caffeine. 20 minutes later… A number of people who had done the mobile ordering (which I am a fan of) received gift cards for the long wait, and a few other patrons were bold enough to request their own gift cards for the wait. It was absurd and heck no… never coming to this location again. At least not during the morning rush.

My favorite Starbucks in all of Chicago. The staff is always super friendly and efficient when working with customers. After about a week the staff started remembering my name (and my drink) which made me feel more like a friend than your average average customer. A little goes a long way.
Other tips: this Starbucks is usually less busy than other Starbucks’ in the loop.

Worst Starbucks staff ever. Had to repeat the order four times and the girl behind the register still did not get the order right. Another staff brought out a sandwich ice cold, girl making the coffee forgot the order and the manager wanted to charge more for the original mistake the cashier girl made. No apologies. Do not come here on weekdays.

This is our neighborhood Starbucks across the street. A few things really make this location stand out from other downtown locations.
1) the interior décor is really unique and special with a big wooden table in the middle of the store and dark wood and glass material — super sleek
2) has all of the newer menu items so you won’t be disappointed in the variety of offerings
3) open super early and closes late! Ah coffee and food whenever you need it!
4) baristas and cashier– mostly very kind and pretty speedy though the other day I was reprimanded by the cashier for not telling her about my star reward redemption prior to the total and asked her to back out the transaction. My fault yes but she accomplished her goal of making me feel bad about it.
5) quality — drinks are pretty consistent and I usually get a nonfat misto.

Still my favorite Starbucks in the loop, but some of the newer employees here are veryyyyy slow. However, it’s still generally less busy then the alternatives.

Love this Starbucks. Friendly staff, great ambiance. I read the previous reviews, and am thinking those were issues that occurred when they first opened, as I have never experienced any of them. My drinks are always correct and come out fast. Not to mention if you sit there long enough, they come around with free samples. What other Starbucks does that?

I was pretty psyched when this place opened up because it is right down the street from my job — no need to cross the street. Ha!
I was NOT psyched that they’re awful at making drinks. They’ve been getting better lately but I’ve had them make completely wrong drinks on multiple occasions and after the long wait in the morning, you kind of get stuck with it unless you want to kill your morning waiting on coffee.

I go to Starbucks twice a day during the week, but not this one. Unfortunately, this location is the closest open location to me on the weekend. Why unfortunately? Because this is where they send the baristas with no experience, no common sense, or who simply don’t care about getting orders right. 3 last visits=3 failures to get an order right (tall coffee in a grande cup — is it that hard?). I give this location 0 stars for service/​staff, but 4 stars for location and ambiance. A generous average of 2. Perhaps Starbucks will wake up and realize that this location is busy and can be even busier and more profitable if they get rid of the C team or at least put in a few B teamers.

Brand new Starbucks! The décor is great here. I’m a fan of the new long tables and dark wood Starbucks is outfitting their shops with.
The coffee and fare is standard, obviously, but I am a fan of the Pumpkin Spice that surfaces this time of year. This location makes it as good as any!
