I would NEVER buy a pair of shoes from them again. I bought a pair that was defective and ruined my feet, after wearing out of the house one time. However, they would not be flexible with their policy, and would not give me a store credit. I am now stuck with a 500.00 pair of shoes that I will not wear. Their customer service did nothing and did not return my calls. The manager in the Chicago area called, acted all nice, and then did not return my calls. When she did, she still would not do the fair thing. She was not concerned at all about what happened to my feet, only with ensuring that their profits on the 500.00 pair of shoes was not compromised. Their service, and treatment is abhorrent. I will now NEVER shop at a Stuart Weitzman store, or wear a pair of their shoes again.

I love well-made shoes. I’m a fan of Manolo Blahnik and Cole Haan and own several each but I’ve never owned a pair of Stuart Weitzman’s until now! I popped into the Michigan avenue store recently on my lunch break on a whim and alot of items were 50% off. All of the sales associates were friendly and I never once felt pressured to buy anything. When I was ready to try on shoes, the SA who helped me brought me various pairs in different sizes since I couldnt figure out what size I was in Stuart Weitzmans. Unlike going to the Jimmy Choo store on Oak Street, I was not made to feel like I wasn’t worthy to be in the store. I didnt feel like I had to dress up to get outstanding customer service. In the end, the shoe I wanted was not available in the store, but it was available in another store so I had it shipped to my house for $ 10 which is not bad for 2 day UPS. Not only is the shoe beautiful, but also comfortable and well-made. I know that my new pair will last a long time and this will probably not be the last pair of Stuart Weitzmans that I own.

I ordered the cutest pair of white satin slingbacks for my upcoming wedding with the intention of dying them a robin’s egg blue. I first came into the store a few months ago to ask if they had a recommendation as to where i could go to get my shoes dyed. The sales associate seemed a little snooty and misunderstood my question about the bridal shoes. She gruffly told me they do not carry the shoes that i had asked her about. When i repeated myself, her demeanor changed and she went behind to register to hand me a Brooks Shoe Service business card. I didn’t care too much for her attitude but i got what i needed and was on my way. Today however, I called the store asking if they had the little swatch that you have to take with you when you dye your shoes(mine disappeared from the box during all of my fittings). The associate found one for me and was ready to drop it in the mail until she tried to look up my address and i informed her my shoes were purchased online at the Stuart Weitzman website. She immediately said that she could no longer send me the little white swatch of fabric because i had not purchased my shoes from their store and i would have to call the website and have them service me. Really? Did i just spend $ 350 on a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes from the Stuart Weitzman website only to get denied a piece of insignificant fabric because i didn’t purchase them from a brick and mortar store? After calling the Stuart Weitzman website, an associate told me the associate was incorrect but dropped a swatch in the mail for me so I didn’t have to deal with the shop again. I think i’ll continue to shop online.

I’ve never been a Stuart Weitzman fan. I just always thought their shoes looked a little strange, kind of like trying to be something they are not. I was wrong. I was helping a girlfriend find wedding shoes this afternoon, and we found the absolute perfect pair of shoes to compliment her dress. We also found some other great shoes — in fantastic vibrant colors, fun accents bows and gorgeous heels. Our sales associate was very helpful, accommodating and had a great sense of humor. We had a great experience here, and I’ll definitely be back. Oh… check out their bags too. Fantastic colors for spring. So much fun! Price ranges from $ 200 — $ 600 per pair.

I have a job that requires you to dress professionally, but be prepared to do alot of walking! ‘course no one prepared me for this role when I took the assignment, so the first month, I teetered around in divinely beautiful shoes that killed my feet! Then, one evening I was walking down Michigan Ave and saw the SW store. My only exposure to SW was thru the sorta dowdy shoes I’d seen some of our executives wear, so I’d always assumed that was the extent of their line. But, oh no! They have so many beautiful, trendy(but classic) styles! And, they don’t hurt… ever. I’ve worn their shoes for 10 — 12 hours straight… standing, walking and everything in between…

This place has fabulous shoes! Its one of my favorite places to browse and try on shoes! They usually have a sale rack going on but its still pretty pricey. The quality is great though so thats what the price reflects.
