Hands down the best subway in Chicago. It’s an extremely friendly and great place to grab lunch. Customer service is definitely five stars and the atmosphere is great! The food is always fresh and in the summer they open the windows so you can catch a nice breeze during your break

New owner, great guy. Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews this place is different now. They make your sandwich right and treat you like a guest! The front window opens in the summer and it’s nice to eat and feel the breeze.

This is the best subway location in Chicago forget about all the old reviews. Since Sal took over this subway has an old school feel to it. Subway taste with a small town sandwich shop feel.

As far as Subway’s go, this location is the gold standard. The new management here is night and day from the previous management. Go figure, a business that still believes in customer service. Sal, Diana and the entire staff are awesome. Keep up the good work!

Came in last week to see if the new ownership actually changed anything and can honestly say yes. Stopped in to get a sandwich and the young lady helping me had me laughing and ended up staying just to keep conversation going. Great service.

This is my LAST option on this stretch of Lincoln Avenue. It’s really unlike any Subway I’ve ever been to. The ingredients just don’t taste fresh to me. I feel like this is really a reject Subway or the «discount» Subway even though they charge the same as a regular Subway (sometimes more). There are many better food options in the area, this is no longer my healthy choice.

This subway flat out sucks.
1. The people are rude.
2. They overcharge you. I ordered a 6in ham and cheese which is usually under $ 4. I was charged 4.81. They do not give you a receipt either.
3. The bread is not the freshest and they do not have the balsamic dressing.
STAY AWAY.
This subway should be reported for ripping off guests.

Horrible service, with a potbelly, jimmy johns and uncle sammy’s nearby why bother with this place? The workers are horrible (maybe not all of them) you can easily get ignored for up to ten minutes before you are helped and even when they do come around to help its not because they want to (they let it be known that you are a nuisance to them) Subway can be good, but not this one. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

The fiancé works across the street, so we have made it habit to get dinner here from time to time. This is one of the nicer subway locations in the city. It’s always clean and the employees are usually very friendly. It’s a small location and I would guess that the lunch crowd packs the place, but it’s a great place to grab a quick and affordable dinner. They also threw together an awesome Groupon deal that was valid at this location only. I like that their management is proactive in getting people through the door.

This Subway is awful. The last THREE times I have been in there (separated by about 4 – 6 weeks per visit) and have attempted to use the credit card, the «machine’s not working.» The cheapskate owner probably doesn’t want to pay the 25 cent credit card processing fee. The employee offered to «write down» my credit card information & try it tomorrow. I said «heck, no» (like I’d trust him with that info).
UPDATED: The credit card situation has improved; however, this store is not honoring $ 5 footlongs on the oven-​roasted chicken breast sandwich. The credit card situation being resolved leads me to raise this to 2 stars from 1 star; however, this store choosing not to offer the $ 5 footlong chicken sub will keep this at just 2 stars.
UPDATE 2: I haven’t had any credit card problems and the store is honoring the $ 5 footlong chicken breast sandwich. Based on their improvements, I’m going to upgrade this to 4 stars. I should note that you can’t get the $ 2 chips & drink with the $ 5 footlong promotion.
