Nice to know though we were seated prior to a lot they all got their food first and guess what?! We are still waiting! Don’t come here if you’re hungry or in a hurry! Seriously horrible! The excuse ‘we just got slammed’ doesn’t cut it dear! My guess is she forgot to put our order in! Good thing I have cheese from my Bloody Mary to eat meanwhile!

While it’s just another tavern and grill I really enjoyed it and definitely will be back! I got the chicken wrap and it was delicious. Nice booths. Good place to watch a sports game or just come for a night with friends/fam.

Food: I like the boundary burgers and cheese curds Drinks: ok’(Selection of beers: decent)(hit or miss on cocktails) With that being said, I liked the atmosphere of the bar until today 01÷03÷16… I have been here several times to watch the games, but today’s CUSTOMERSERVICE left me extremely DISAPPOINTED. I sat at the bar at 11am for the Bears game. I sat right in front of the second TV at the bar with friends. We watched the whole game. Chatted for a bit after the game ended. I noticed the Bulls game was playing on one of their several TVs behind us, so we requested they put the Bulls game on the TV facing us(please note: no one is near us/behind us or in our vicinity). In general, there weren’t a lot of people at the bar at 5pm. Our female bartender asked and informed us that the white manager on duty said no. He must’ve noticed our confused faces because he allowed them to change the channel. However, the manager sent the male bartender to tell us the Bulls game can be on until other customers arrive. WTF? We were here first… The bartender continued to ramble on about a football game, that no one had shown up to see took priority. I don’t know if it’s just a priority to the manager and the male bartender because no one was in our vicinity. They weren’t in our vicinity either. I didn’t understand the response they provided, I thought it was really a poor choice of words/response/and especially service to paying customers. I questioned whether to leave the 20% tip(or $ 0), but I left 20% so the female bartender wouldn’t be affected, but I really don’t appreciate feeling like someone is doing me a favor by changing a channel when I’m paying for service… I’m the customer. Please re-train your staff on customer service skills/etiquette including the manager on duty tonight.

I like this place a lot. Recently moved to the area and I feel it’s got a good vibe to it. Food, nice bar and good atmosphere. I also like all the TV’s to watch a game. Good neighborhood joint!

I came here during happy hour and must say they had some pretty good deals! The had a large selection of craft beers and the sunnyside up burger was on point! If your in the area and want somewhere to go to watch a sports game and good food I would definitely recommend.

I went to boundary the other night to watch the Cubs game and it was a great place to watch the game. It’s been years since I’ve been there because of all the other sports bars on division. But the food was fantastic, the prices were good, service was fantastic and the environment was good. I’m gluten free and they accommodated very well, I had the fish tacos. I will absolutely return to watch another Chicago sports game

I just had the best steak and eggs I’ve ever had in my life! The steak tasted like surf and turf all wrapped up in one beautiful hunk of beef. I’m blown away that what I just ate was at a sports bar. Amazing!

We met some friends here for a bite to eat on a Sunday afternoon. We started with the spinach artichoke appetizer, I had the buffalo chicken wrap with a side salad, my companion had the Philly cheesesteak(I couldn’t bring myself to order a Philly in Chicago) and fries. Unfortunately we both drank water, so I couldn’t tell you anything about the extensive selection of drafts and ales they have available on their six-page beer menu. Regardless, my buffalo chicken had the perfect heat and was stuffed with a menagerie of vegetables, meat, and sauce for delicious content aplenty. Every bite just had great flavor. I even took half of it with me and ate it later, and it was just as good without the need to reheat. In all, it was sports bar food the way sports bar food should be served. If I had a complaint, it would be that they had five screens showing baseball and none with the preseason football game, but the third-stringers were in by the time we got there anyway.

I would not come again. Wings were dry, I’ve had better. I did however enjoy the drinks, the music, the baseball game and the company.

Comments from brunch: had eggs Benedict and they used steak. Waited about 20 min for very straightforward meal, it wasn’t that busy(although they were running around) Meal seemed very average, steak was done ok, fries had no flavoring, seemed just bought and fried. I was charged 2 dollars extra for substitution, steak instead of sausage just wish this was mentioned. Meh

We came, we ate, we left happy. Thursday afternoon visit so not the bar crowd, some families and business lunches taking place. Service was good I tried a cider beer that I didn’t like and the server happily replaced it with a different beer for free.

We were looking for a place for lunch today and believe it or not it is hard to find a good lunch spot in this area. Most places don’t even open until 5−6pm. Finally found The Boundary and we lucked out and found a good spot to park right out front with no parking meters so that was nice! The restaurant was not busy at all which could be expected at 1pm on a Monday. We were happy to find a nice booth by the bar and had great service. The waitress and bartenders were awesome. Another great thing about the service is that they have one of the chefs(I’m assuming he was a chef, judging by the white jAcket) bring out your food! The menu was super easy to read with not an overwhelming amount of options. So many of burgers and wraps sounded good I wasn’t sure what to order. I did end up getting the chicken wrap. It was great! But next time I would like to try the scrambled egg burger. Boyfriend got a burger, he said it was okay(looked good to me tho). The prices were a bit high but normal for the area. They have a bunch of beers on tap and in the coolers and a nice bar to sit at. I can’t wait to come back and try a burger and some beers. Oh yeah, And the cheese curds are AMAZING… definitely not a Wisconsin cheese curd but I actually liked the soft, crispy-ness of these curds better.

Nice clean sports bar! Its pretty nice inside. Theres alot of seating especially for big groups. The patio is great for summer, or whenever its nice outside. I think they can have more TVs, like along the middle of the place. I haven’t been here at night wonder what the vibe is. But the food is pretty solid, great staff. Deff a nice piece in the division street bars and restaurants.

Great place if you’d like to sit outside on a patio! The little Havana sandwich was delicious! The service was great as well. The crowd is very diverse(pet friendly on patio, families with babies/toddlers, couples, girls’ lunch, etc) and creates an experience that is relaxing and cool. They have a lot of specials and a good variety of food! Will definitely come back. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked Delish!

For some reason whenever I come to the Boundary it’s either dead or packed. There doesn’t seem to be much in between. It seems to be a place that people flock to for certain events, but not as a typical, daily go to bar. First off, it’s huge inside. In a quaint, nice neighborhood I definitely prefer the small dive bar vibe, but that’s just personal preference. Their menu is pretty big and has a bunch of different kinds of food. Everything I’ve had here has been good, but nothing I would crave at home. My dad, however, had the new shrimp po-boy on the new menu and he swears its the best thing he’s ever had. Each time I’ve been there my service has been great, but just nothing sticks out to me. It seems to be a fine place, but maybe better options in the neighborhood.

Just finished another two day, March madness watching marathon at the Boundary and, AGAIN, I do bring a bias, but I dare you to go here to watch the NCAA tournament games and NOT have a good time. Beer selection is insane. Not as extensive as their sister property Howells … but plenty of options for your palate; whether you’re a hop head, a stout lover, looking for something local, or looking for something you’ve never had before. Full bar, with some great top-shelf liquors, and a recently;y refreshed menu. The chicken tenders are more like four chicken breasts … the menu special french sub is a very well made, very tasty Italian sub kicked up a notch. Some at our table even had the soup and a Cowgirl Salad which had shredded chicken and was very good. Very attentive service, particularly the bussing of tables, this is absolutely the perfect place to watch NCAA games.

I popped in with my husband to grab dinner and a drink. Food was good, atmosphere was fun, waitress was nice. Honestly, nothing earth shatteringly great, but we did enjoy our dinner! It was a super nice day out so we were happy to snag a table outside. Little did we know this spot came with free entertainment. The people watching here is just phenom. I’m talkin’ all sorts of characters. Good times, good times. I ordered the turkey burger with a side of asparagus. I gotta say, I really appreciate it when a bar/restaurant gives you a healthier option than just fries! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good french fry like the rest of us, but sometimes you just have to buckle down and go green. The turkey burger was super tasty and the veggies were fresh and delish. Needless to say, I cleaned my plate. My husband and I were strictly at The Boundary for a quick dinner, but it seems like an awesome place to catch a game. They have a ton of TVs and I love the open feel of the space. Next time we’re in the neighborhood we’d definitely come back.

Truffle chicken salad, fantastic! And it never fails to amaze me how great tater tots are for a side item. They are so easy but tots always make for a great side item. We ordered two apps to start out, cheese curds, and spinach dips. Both were devoured by our group in less than five minutes. I like that the spinach dip was served with pita. Our server was super accommodating. Three of the five of people in my group had a few add-ons and changes to their food and the server was totally cool with it. They also have a great craft beer menu. And I love the music they play here. It’s such a random mix of music with songs that come on and make you say things like I haven’t heard this song in forever or I used to love this song. And the volume, at least around 8, was at a good level where you could hear it but also still hear the people you are with.

I’ve been to the Boundary on several occasions and I have yet to be disappointed. Lunch or dinner, weekday or weekend, the Boundary is always a good time. They have quality food and quality service. The Boundary is an official Blackhawks bar with plenty of televisions on the east and west sides of the building. The bar is located on the right with table seating as well as booth seating on the left. It may be difficult to view televisions from the booth as I have seen some people stand up for a better angle. The Boundary is conducive to large parties or small get together. They have shuffleboard in the back as well as a few other bar games. The Boundary is a nice place to grab some dinner on a Friday or Saturday night before you plan on going out and kicking it with your brohas or your betches.
