So glad they’ve been able to weather the Redox storm. Love the five movies, five days, five dollar deal, we utilize that every time. I appreciate the selection of classic movies (don’t have many of those do you Redbox?) and the AFI top 100 movie shelf in particular. My son digs the hundreds of kid movies they have to choose from although making up his mind on which to choose can be pretty difficult some nights. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. One guy in particular (I believe his name is Michael) ranks up there with my favorite customer service people in town. The guy has seen pretty much every movie and will give you an honest take on any movie you ask about. Hope the business is doing well because I’d have a hard time living without this place.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! They have a great selection and we always get the $ 10 five movie-​five night rental. They even have an amazing taco truck in the parking lot! I hope this place stays in business forever! Love having them nearby!

Went in with my family on 10/​22/​2015 at 4pm. Great selection on movies, very excited to go into a store with kids like the old days. HOWEVER, we did not have CA identification. We have primary residence in NV and secondary in Chico. We offered our our NV DL along with our PGE bill for our second home here, in my name. Also offered our Butte College IDs and our TriCounties Bank card. Mike Brown said, absolutely not.
Im also local business owner here in Chico. Mike is the epitome of a «gatekeeper» that tends to cause businesses to go under. An individual that I would never want to represent my business. Good luck.

The first one standing and now the last place in town where you can go rent a movie. Sadly these stores will probably be no longer needed but for now its nice to go inside a store a pick something tangible and take home. They usually have every movie i’ve wanted to watch available. Great store!

I use to love renting movies here until a few weeks ago when an employee named Jeff was super rude to me when I asked a simple question about a movie. He completely ignored me and rolled his eyes while talking on the phone to another co– worker (I think) talking bad about his manager. There was 3 people in line besides me waiting to check out while he was on the phone complaining about how lazy the manager was and how he can’t order anything right. Completely unprofessional.

My boyfriend and I decided to open an account here after Blockbuster went out of business and we are so impressed with this little gem! The whole vibe is such a throwback to my childhood. This place has actual 90’s VHS movies… I don’t have a VCR and I don’t think anyone still does but it’s awesome looking back at how we used to watch movies. People in their 20’s will appreciate all the old school stuff while also being able to find newer shows and movies on DVD. I’m not sure how anyone who appreciates movies could complain about this place, it’s really a one of a kind store that always has something awesome.

I really liked this place. However, I have rented 3 blu rays from them in the past couple of months and NONE of them has worked on my PlayStation 3. They all work on our other Sony bly ray player… just not the PS3. Many other blu rays and DVDs work on the PS3. It is only the ones from ATBV that do not work. Unfortunately, it is really unlikely that that is a coincidence. I called to discuss it with them and was told that they do not know why that would be. So that I could continue my patronage, I asked if I could speak to a manager to see if there was something they knew of that could resolve the issue. I was told that the manager would not have any more help to offer than what I had already received (so, «no, you may not speak to a manager»). I am downgrading my 5 star review to 2 stars for:
1. Bad products that don’t work on my PS3.
2. Failing to put forth any significant effort to help me continue as a customer.

Reasons why I rent movies from All the Best Video
1) 5 movies for 5 dollars for 5 days
2) Customers come in the store chanting they want to rent the movie «Rainbo» (Response: No sir, it’s «Rambo»)
3) TONS of movies, TV shows and games. Seriously, everything you have ever wanted to watch will be here (Note: awesome selection of b-​rated horror (I Spit on Your Grave being one of them)).
4) Not sure what movie to pick? Overwhelmed by the rows and rows of movies? The staff make great «out of the box» suggestions. You will not leave disappointed.
