Monstros Pizza

Wow! We stopped on our way out of town to grab some food here. It was less than $ 4 for two HUGE pieces of pizza. He made it fresh to order and it was well worth. And what a surprise!!! There was sauce in the crust!!! Definitely returning!!! Loved it. Extra saucey. Xoxo

This place is odd for the reason that the people that work here seem to be annoyed all the time with customers. Business is business and you’re making money! Jeez. So needless to say customer service here is horrible, but the pizza is ok. I had a slice of pep. The crust tasted great.

Yes this place is awesome! my freshman year of college I are here almost every night. Pizza is amazing (biggest pizza ever!) A slice of pizza here makes Costco’s slices look small! When you go you need to try the garlic bread!

This place is awesome. The pizza was the best pizza I’ve ever had in Chico, the staff was super friendly, and it has a one of a kind atmosphere.
The sawdust on the floor, the TV playing old news broadcasts from the 90’s, and the low lighting make this place awesome. Top that off with some bomb pizza and this place earns its 5 stars. Go here if you want a great pizza.

This place is a little hidden gem! Great pizza, huge slices, cool atmosphere, nice owner all around great place that I am happy to give my money too!

The pizza slices are huge. But the place is very run down. Sometimes they have bands that play like punk bands and stuff, but its all kinda loud and it brings in a… different clan of people i dont hang with. Really great food.

Great pizza, great ppl, great shows, and a great deal!!! there is good pizza in chico, but monstros is one of a kind here. the only down side is the days and times its open. honestly, i’d love to go there for lunch. however that does not take a star off or whatever. if the food is good, inconveniences such as time do not matter!!!

Best pizza in Chico I’ve had yet. Walking by monstros, you would think this pizza place is out of business. But when they are open (which is solely at the owners discretion) you can’t find better pizza. The dough is fresh & perfectly cooked. Slices are huge! I recommend ordering a pepperoni pizza slice with fresh pesto on top. Only annoying thing is the metal concerts they play there which sound amateur and head splitting, even the crowd seems asleep.

A M A Z I N G P I Z Z A ! I am not kidding — I have tried a lot of pizza places since I moved to Chico and this is the best pizza in town. Hands down. The ambiance is very quirky with old video games that don’t work, a tiny B&W TV that is really loud and a cement floor with saw dust on it. We waited for a long time to get our pizza too, but it was worth the wait! Really — I’d wait way longer for these amazing pies! Their hours and days that they are open are strange, but I am going to make a concerted effort to figure it out so I can come here more often. The owner is a really nice guy and buys his sausage from Chicago! Sauce and dough are from scratch. Love that! Anyway, if you haven’t already, try this little hidden gem out! You won’t be disappointed!

There is simply no better pizza in Chico or the surrounding area for that matter. The owner is a super nice guy who make an awesome product. Going to monstros is like stepping into a time machine. There’s a B&W TV playing old movies, vintage videogames, board games for anybody to play, great prices on beer.
This is a true Chico classic and I think the oldest pizza place in town.
It’s a great place to bring the whole family play some board games and devour the BEST PIZZA IN CHICO!!!
