Round Table Pizza

My pizza arrived slid to the back corner of the box and it was cold! Not cool round table. I paid like $ 38 for a pizza and some sticks at least have it be a pizza not a blob of toppings in the corner of the box

wow! We just got delivery. I ordered pizza for house full of teens and as I was placing the order everyone kept changing their minds. The person taking my order was really patient and helped us get the best price on our order. The pizza came 5 minutes earlier than we expected and the driver was really polite. the price was higher than I expected at first, but one we opened the boxes and tried and the pizza I realized that it was totally worth it.

This location is the worst one I’ve dealt with. We stopped ordering from them a while back because the driver we kept getting was a total creeper. We decided to try them again on new year’s eve because that’s what our guests prefer, and it was a mess. The girl who took my order acted like she was on her first day of work, and then when the pizzas showed up one was totally wrong. I called them and asked if they could send another one of what we actually ordered, and when the second one showed up it was also totally wrong! I asked for «white sauce» and they gave me «light sauce»… I even repeated myself and made sure to use the word «garlic» so they knew I asked for white sauce… What a mess! It really ruined dinner considering our guest with a FOOD ALLERGY couldn’t eat the pizzas. Thanks for another annoying experience Round Table!

Went to round table tonight, they were not busy we placed our order and waited and waited and waited, finally asking the manager Rick, he said oh I just saw that order in the oven, then we waited and waited again, then asked a gal working to check on it once again told that it was cooking then 10 minutes later it still not done so took receipt up and asked manager again he said with no apology that it was still not done (it was an hour from time we ordered) so we asked for our money back I Will never go there again! Worst service I’ve ever had, anywhere, for the manager to not even apologize, if it was a busy night I would understand but not busy at all, they do not even deserve a star

Lettuce is always wilted. Potato and macaroni salad always have layers of old stuff on top. Kids that work there are to busy to help you. Rude. If you like the buffet your better off going to one by winco. Way better food there

THE LAST HONEST PIZZA WITH THE WORST WORST WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I grew up on Round Table and over the years have eaten and dozens of them. They are a personal favorite on nights when I’m just too lazy to cook. Our last RT was awesome… always on time, never a problem, plenty of coupons, the manager would call and follow up to make sure items were to our satisfaction. CHICO ROUND TABLE PIZZA… THE WORST EVER! I HAVE RECEIVED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE DMV! I don’t know what the problem is beyond they just don’t care. After a month of paying $ 30 for pizzas, we asked if the delivery guy could bring us coupons — a request we’ve made over the years plenty of times with other RTs with a «sure, no problem.» This RT — oh no we don’t ever give out coupons. Funny since I just got on Unilocal and there is a coupon for 15% off — information that would have been great three months ago when we asked. So my husband needs a gift for work and tries to buy a gift card for a specialty pizza — IT TAKES TWO CASHIERS AND A MANAGER AND 30 MINUTES FOR THEM TO FIGURE IT OUT. It ended up that my husband didn’t use the gift card for a work gift so he just called to order a pizza and use the card. It has a number and a PIN, a very basic concept. UH YEAH. The cashier doesn’t even know they have gift cards available and I hear my husband explaining that the card is red and green and says the last honest pizza, he has the original receipt, etc. After 15 minutes of explanations the guys says he will start the pizza but has to call his manager to come in and will call us back. So the manager calls 15 minutes later and is grilling my husband because their ID is only a 16 digit and our card has a 19 digit number. !!! What is going on? We bought it from that exact location!!! OVER IT. I work too hard to deal with absolute morons. I am going to try that other pizza place that gets bad reviews for rude workers. OH HOW WE MISS GASHOUSE!!!

Very poor customer service, delivery driver says that nobody was home. Even though we all were home, he called to tell us this but by the time I got the message he was back at the store. When I called the store the guy I spoke to made me feel like I was never there and that I was completely in the wrong for wondering where my food was. Also they never offered any solution, like coming «back» to my house. So thanks for nothing round table, I will not be ordering anything from you people ever again.

One of the best Round Tables I’ve ever been to. The staff is incredibly nice and the food is good as usual!

My 6 year old daughter and I went in to the clubhouse because she likes to play the games. I ordered a personal pizza, 1 trip salad, milkshake for the kid and a soda for myself. As I go to drink my soda I notice at least 3 pink lipstick prints on my cup. I take it to the waitress, complain, she apologizes and brings me a new drink (that I of course don’t want at this point) When I got my check, I was shocked to see that I had been charged for the drink. Very disgusting, an obvious health issue and not even the courtesy of comping my drink!

The Round Table Pizza on Mangrove Avenue in Chico CA is pretending to be a real RTP restaurant. La Comida was closed for spring break and we went next door because we were hungry and in a hurry. Well, never again. From the young thing at the counter who had no clue how to take an order, to the food ordered and never delivered (but paid for), to the failure to ask if there was anything else we wanted to order (yes…my dinner), to the failure to be provided a copy of the receipt, and last to the late and incomplete delivery of our order, it was a nightmare not to be repeated. Lastly, it was like we were invisible and voiceless when we tried to complain. We are both in our seventies. Round Table now only serves the young and hip. No problem, lots of restaurants in Chico.

Another visit, another (small) problem. It always seems to be something.
I ordered 12 wings and I got 12 wings. Great. I ordered 6 Parmesan Twists and I got 6 Parmesan Twists. Great. I ordered a Maui Zaui and I got a Maui Zaui without the green onions (again.) Round Table Pizza’s website says: «Catch the Wave of Flavor! Ham, crisp bacon, juicy pineapple, tomatoes, red & GREEN ONIONS on Polynesian sauce. (Also available on zesty red sauce)». I like green onions on my pizza. They’ve put green onions on my Maui Zaui once in the past so I know I’m not delusional.
The service was excellent and super friendly, high quality food, and generous toppings on the pizza. But once again, just not quite living up to the expectations of a $ 28 pizza.
Before you think I’m being too critical, read the other reviews that offer similar experiences.

Quality is terrible since Jarred transferred to another location. Worst pizza ever last night.

I usually love Round Table but I had such a terrible experience with the Mangrove location, I actually might just have to stay away from Round Table for a while.
We ordered a pizza for delivery at 6:50 PM, by the time our pizza arrived it was 8:15 PM so of course our pizza was cold and dry and the breadsticks were hard and chewy! Our $ 40 meal that we patiently waited for was inedible and fed to the dog. Such a waste of time and money! What made things worse was that the pizza was awkwardly smooshed to one side of the box as if someone had been tossing the box of pizza around and the ranch that came with the breadsticks were HALF EMPTY like they gave us someone’s unfinished ranch. Not to mention the pizza had NO SAUCE and they gave us two packets of parmesan cheese and two packets of red pepper flakes for an extra large pizza!!! We waited over an hour and built an appetite for a nasty ass, unsatisfying pizza!!!
If you must order from Round Table in Chico, I would highly suggest the Forest Avenue location. I haven’t had a bad experience with them in the past year that I’ve been religiously ordering from them. It sucks how the Mangrove store is now assigned to deliver to my area. Just because of that I probably won’t eat Round Table anymore unless I dine in the Forest Avenue location.

With all the amazing pizza places in Chico round table falls short. The pizza is alright but the prices for what you get aren’t too great. However anytime I’ve ordered delivery the pizza is usually at my door within 20 – 30 mins. Overall it’s decent but given the choice wood stocks at Celestinos really can’t be beat.

I always order pizza from this location so I was very pleased when he gave me excellent customer service. Working in retail and the restaurant business, I always appreciate when I receive great service. I value my time very much but believe that when people treat you well, you should always acknowledge them, hence this review. :) Thanks again, Jordan!

First time I’ve ever found a Crusin’ Exotica arcade cab to play.

not great lunch today. salad usually fresh… you could tell they mixed old with new. none of the vegis were fresh either. Pizza tasted old and cinnamon sticks overdone so they were hard to chew. Water was über gross… needs a filter. Also, I dont think they gave me my Unilocal discount :(
Not a good roundtable experience today.

There pizza is always good. The only thing I don’t like is there prices. The place is always clean and the employees are very friendly.

Figured I’d give this place a second chance so I ordered from them tonight. Not bad! The first time I ordered from these guys, the delivery person apparently got my address wrong and instead of calling me to confirm it, just gave up. I got a refund so it was ok I suppose. Anywho, I ordered a medium veggie pizza and a diet pepsi tonight. ETA on delivery was suppposed to be an hour but the guy arrived after about an hour and a half. not too bad. But, here’s the kicker! He arrived with 2 pizzas! He said something about them having my pizza ready but he clocked in late or something and so they made a fresh pizza… lol. Totally missed the details there, except the «you get a free pizza» part. And a medium pizza is $ 20…so that would have been $ 40 right there. Not bad, Round Table, not bad at all. lol

This Round Table Pizza always has people in it! Love the buffet, fresh salad, and quality pizza. Even though Chico is a town where I prefer to eat at locally owned establishments, I’ll make an exception and head to Round Table every once in a while. I love the thick crust. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the service has always been fast.
Wish they had the buffet for dinner, but I know so many people would take advantage of it they’d probably run outta food!
Overall, I would definitely recommend this Round Table if you want fast and relaxing service.
Can’t wait to be back again!!!
