Best pizza in town in my opinion. We always get the party pack that includes large 2 topping, garlic sticks and 4 drinks. Feed the whole family for about $ 23 and have plenty left over. Service is always super fast and employees are friendly.

I order pizza a lot, it is my «I’ve been eating healthy, so this weekend I want something bad» food. I don’t enjoy fast food or eating out so much but man I love pizza. This review is only for the«pizza». So with that said I have tried any place in town numerous times. They each offer something different and each do something great in their own aspects. Overall though I think Mountain Mikes pizza is the best. I order either the everest or the snowy alps. Both pizzas are amazing. I always order to go. The crust and pie is perfectly cooked and the staff even when busy(which they are often) are always friendly. I get the 18.99 large specialty pizza coupon from their website, for this price you can’t beat it. A couple things to note, I hate their bread-sticks, I would give them 1 star all day lol. Also if you order a pizza it can get a little soggy if you keep it in the box too long, so just open it a bit when you get it on the way home. This is especially an issue with their white sauce pizzas.

I have lived in Chico for 5 years and I often visit this Mountain Mikes because it is usually delicious and the staff are always friendly. Unfortunately, I do not think I will be eating here as often. The pizza has changed in the last few months. My last two pizzas have not been fully cooked and still extremely doughy. When I called to tell them it was still doughy, they immediately prepared me a new one, with no additional cost. I really appreciate the accountability on their part. I hope they can figure out why they keep giving out doughy, raw pizzas. It will not be my last visit but my last visit for a while!

Good pizza but not worth the wait. In the last ten years I’ve tried them on and off there hasn’t been a single time I’ve gotten my order in less than thirty minutes MORE then the estimated time, and that’s either picking it up myself or sitting inside. If they say it’ll be ready in 20 minutes you automatically have to add another 30 minutes on. The girls that work the register seem to always be grumpy. I’m giving up on this place.

Got an all meat pizza and it was bomb. My last review I was not impressed but this time was awesome. Keep up the good work thank you again…

Not impressed at all. Place is so humid and servers are rude. They charge 65 cents for ranch even if you spend $ 50 – 60 on pizza for the family… The girl at the register said no charge then the server said different while we know every one goes to the salad bar to get free ranch we paid …

For clarity, 2 stars, according to Unilocal,is «Meh, I’ve experienced better,» while three is «A-ok.» And that said, yes, I’ve experienced better. $ 42 for all-you-can-eat drink/pizza/salad bar is a bit steep when they’re giving you a small paper plate, even smaller bowl, and — by today’s standards — a teeny-tiny cup for the drink. Granted, waste not, want not but at that price for three people, would it kill ya to go up a bit bigger? Pizza was ok. Pineappley was tonight’s theme. Good, but more crust than the goods. For that kind of money, I’d have fared better going to Celestino’s.

I ordered from here while I was staying at the Holiday Inn nearby. The pizza was okay, but definitely overpriced for the quality. I got the Diamond Head pizza, which is your basic Hawaiian ham/pineapple. It was literally overflowing with toppings, and the cheese blend was great. The garlic sticks with cheese were not as good as I had hoped, and the 2-liter of pop cost twice as much as it should have. Delivery took longer than they said it would, but the delivery guy was really nice. If I lived in town, I’d probably give it another shot.

Awesome customer service, had some issues with the online ordering and they straightened it out quickly and efficiently. They also modified my order without charging me a ton, and had it ready in under 15 min. The pizza is downright decadent compared to most places, and the garlic sticks single order is enough to feed 8 people. This place is definitely my new go to spot for a good pie on gaming nights.

New in town, called for delivery. The good: pizza was flavorful. The bad: The pizza was cold and overpriced. Sent a comment to their corporate office through the contact page on their website… no reply after 2 weeks.

After all the hype, I expected better. Who puts fresh tomatoes on pizza? They weren’t even tasty fresh tomatoes, either. If you’re going to put fresh veggies on anything, at least make them good. Redeeming factor: beer by the pitcher.

Paying over $ 22 for a large pizza is one thing… but trying to charge for ranch to go with it is ridiculous and cheap! The service leaves a whole lot to be desired…

Mountain Mike’s has my favorite veggie pizza. Crisp, fresh veggies with artichoke hearts and they put the sliced tomatoes on after the pizza is cooked, so the crust doesn’t get soggy. Soggy crust is really the worst pizza offense, IMHO. I’m actually eating a slice now that’s been in my fridge overnight, and the crust is still crisp. Yum. Don’t miss the salad bar either; it’s always well stocked and includes warm cheesy breadsticks! Just keep in mind that this is a family restaurant. Yeah, I’ve had better pizza at fancy places in the city, but for a casual pizza joint this is as good as it gets in Chico. Oh, and they put the Kings game on for us, which earns them an extra star :)

Fantastic pizza, especially if you like your pepperoni crispy! Make sure to hit their«all you can eat» Wednesday’s. Staff just walk through with all kinds of pizza for the taking! Fun.

Mountain Mike’s really does have the best pepperoni. Spicy and crispy around the edges. Although I’d like to try one of their other pizzas I always go for a classic pepperoni and cheese. Their sauce has a bit of a kick to it which goes well with the pepperoni. The crust has a perfect balance between chewiness and crispness, and the thickness is spot-on. The entire bottom of the pizza is covered in corn meal which I enjoy. Overall a 4⁄5 pepperoni pizza. I usually purchase an order of breadsticks with cheese to go with my pizza, but unfortunately they are only so-so. Everything is great except for a lack of flavor. Mountain Mike’s takes the Papa John’s approach and makes a small pizza with cheese and no sauce, then cuts it up into sticks. It’s a great attempt with lots of cheese and a generous amount of sticks, but just not enough flavor. The amazing ranch dipping sauce helps out a lot as does some parmesan cheese. If you live in Chico you should have no problem finding coupons to use. Their regular prices aren’t as bad a Round Table, but they aren’t cheap. With a coupon or a special deal the prices are quite reasonable. The Mangrove Ave. Mountain Mike’s is my first choice. I always order at the restaurant and take my pizza home. I never have to wait more than a reasonable amount of time. I’ve never gotten bad food or a messed-up order. The employees are overall friendly considering they are mostly young.

I wish I could give this place lower than 1 star. I love Mountain Mike’s. At home in Pinole, CA, this is the best pizza place around. The Mangrove Ave location, however, sucks. The employees DONOT care about whether the customers are satisfied. After working 5 years in the food industry, I am honestly appalled by how I was treated by this establishment. My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza before 7 pm on a saturday night. Not only did it take an hour and a half to deliver when we were promised 45 minutes, but we got bbq sauce instead of regular pizza sauce on our pie. When we each had half a piece and decided we couldn’t stomach it, we decided to call and ask if we could have a new one. Once speaking with the manager, I even offered to come down personally to return the pizza and wait while they cooked us up a replacement. They refused. The manager, Frank, told me that I’d have to wait until Monday to call and talk to his general manager to see what she could do for us. Okay, cool, but we were hungry when we ordered it. After assuring me that he had done«all he could do» for us, I have to say that his best effort was absolutely nothing. All he could say was that it was«very busy» in the store at the moment and he couldn’t accommodate us. Worst $ 25 I’ve ever spent. DONOTEATATTHISLOCATION. I plan to call and ask for a reimbursement on Monday. Here’s hoping.
