This is the best place to go in Chico! Clean, professional and I’m always happy with my eyebrows. The only place I’ll go for a Brazilian too.

The first thing about this place that was a little awkward was how quiet it was. There was absolutely no music that is something that all spas should have. April did Brazilian wax, I had to wait a good 15 minutes past my appointment time, because she was getting a massage from a fellow co-​worker. However she did apologize. She was very nice and did not make it feel weird that my vagina was in her face. It was a rather painful experience and she did not hold the skin after the wax was ripped of this is helpful with pain. Also I still have hair tons of broken hairs.

I don’t want just anyone placing hot wax on my lady bits. April was not only friendly, she made sure any questions I had were answered beforehand. Loved that it was quick but thorough. I would highly recommend April for their waxing and/​or spa needs. Also, love that they carry Dermalogica! :-)

I got a European and an eyebrow wax! April did an AMAZING job. She got Everything I wanted gone and more. My area was cleaner than it ever has been after a wax. She even got the ingrown hairs! Above and beyond! The last lady I went to always missed some of the hair. also it got stubbly after a few Days. She is definitely the best in Butte County. She is very nice. She made me feel very comfortable. She will definitely be my new regular place to go!

I went here to have my lady parts waxed and April did an AMAZING job! I went to one place after I went to her, since I was out of state at the time, and they did a horrible job. It made me miss April. She gets every single hair, she is very comfortable to be around, and she makes you feel so relaxed. It didnt even hurt! She did it super fast, and the results were amazing. When I left the other spa I had to go home and shave since the lady didnt get everything. With April I didnt have any hair down there at all for three+ weeks! I will go back for sure!

Best place to get your waxing done in Chico for certain. April runs her own business and treats every one of her customers with personal care, not just another client or customer. I’ve been sending my friends to Spa Pierman for years now because I am always treated with such great care and you definitely get what you pay for.

I went to April to get an eyebrow wax twice. The first time she was nice and easy to talk to. The second time she ripped off half my eyebrow and was rude, disresectful, and never called me for my third appt. This time I went to Matteo& co after my hair grew back. Much better and only $ 15 for an eyebrow wax. Not $ 20
Is NOT Wheelchair accesable unless you can fly up two flights of stairs.

My husband gets me a gift certificate to Spa Pierman for Christmas every year and I absolutely love it. I just spent the last two hours being pampered by April in a completely private and comfortable setting. For waxing, wraps, massage what ever your needs are, April makes you feel completely comfortable. I recommend her to everyone I know!

I had a great experience with my bikini wax done by April. She was really friendly and made me feel comfortable. The appointment was easy to make, and before April started, she made sure to ask exactly what I wanted. She really knows what she is doing and did a great job, she made it as painless as possible. I will definitely come here again!

Oh such a wonderful place! April is so very professional and is always placing her clients first. She always makes my waxing experience so comfortable and I am always beyond satisfied! She is very experienced, and in my opinion, the best waxer I have ever had! I have never had a negative experience with her or any of her services.
Because I also work in a salon, I can recognize and appreciate professional customer service, and that is something that you will find with April at Spa Pierman. She is beyond good at what she does, and will do whatever it takes to make sure that you are happy with what she does, and that you have a good time getting it! This is the only place that I go to get waxed!

What a great experience! From the time I picked up the phone to make an appointment to the time I left I couldn’t have been treated better.
When I called to get info regarding their waxing services the receptionist gave me a really good rundown of their procedure and what to expect. When I got there I was impressed by the set up and cleanliness. No wait, awesome! Went back to the room with the owner, April, who waxed me, and in 20−25min we were done! Genius!!! She did an excellent job and made me feel very comfortable. At the place I used to go, which was a higher end spa, waxing usually took at least an hour and I would leave with bits of wax still on me, yuck. Needless to say I have booked an appt with her for next month!
Tomorrow I am going back to have my nails done by their new manicurist. From what I have seen of her work, April’s nails, she does beautiful work. We’ll see.

The couples package that we booked wasn’t what was advertised on the website. The staff was nice, but unorganized and I think the masseuse was sick during my massage. They later gave my boyfriend a free massage to make up for it since I don’t live in the area.

Don’t let the plain exterior fool you. April Pierman has done an excellent job with her spa, so much so that I drive up from Sacramento to have her do my waxing. Professional, quiet, friendly and homey describe this place. Jay, her receptionist, is a super laid-​back and attentive guy — at first when I made my appointment for a Brazilian I thought to myself, «a guy receptionist?» but that passed quickly– he’s SUPER cool.
April herself does my waxing. I’ve been getting that particular wax done for years, and let me tell you– NOBODY has done it better. For one, April uses quality wax, and for two, she knows what she’s doing.
I love this place. It’s worth the gas money for me to drive up here, get waxed, and visit friends. $ 50 for a brazilian? That’s the cheapest I’ve found it in Nor-​Cal, and may I say it’s actually a pleasant experience at this spa. There are not many places about which I can say that.
