Really good for what it is. Fast and cheap college food. If your are looking for an amazing dineing experience don’t go here, but if it’s late and you just want to eat, perfect.

Great first impression! I got the spicy tuna roll and it tastes really good however not spicy. Just eating this yummy sushi for the great price is still worth it! Will definitely keep going and will recommend.

I am no where close to objective when it comes to this place. I love it. It is not the best food. It is not the fastest food. I am not even sure it is the cheapest food. It is always good food. It never tastes canned or processed. The portions are huge. I never leave here hungry or unhappy. It is cheap enough to eat out almost every day. Plus they are always nice even when I slip in just be for closing. I just love their chicken salad, but my favorite is the BBQ pork. It is always tender and juicy and served over crisp cabbage. I can’t believe anyone would go to taco bell or any other fast food when there are restaurants like this, well except«In n Out» of course.

The food was excellent but the customer service is lacking. I will definitely be back. The crab wontons are amazing!

This place is perfect if you are a broke college student, especially with how close it is to UV. The fried rice is delicious, and you can get quite a few meals out of one order. The Krunchy Salmon Roll is also delicious. Either sit in or take it home, this is the perfect place. I tend to stop at this place 1 or 2 times a week. Haven’t been disappointed yet.

Overpriced, low quality food. My meal was around 9 dollars and it barely filled me up. The macaroni salad wasn’t even edible, and the chicken tasted bland and rubbery. I was hoping this would be a good place to get Hawaiian BBQ in Chico, sadly I was mistaken.

Place sucks. Blandest Chinese food ever. Rice was hard. Quality of chicken was just not good. Had mandarin and general chicken. Panda Express blows this place away. Just sayin.

Chicken katsu was ok the BBQ beef was very tough after about three pieces, my jaw starting hurting. Side note, BBQ beef should not be in strips. They promote their Thai tea as the best, false, far from it. Mac salad was good though.

Great food and good service. I wished they had ice for the drinks, but would eat there again.

The other reviewers are right if you get the Chinese dishes its a really good deal for the price and tastes great for this kind of a hole in the wall fast Chinese place. Great for what it is.

This was my first time here and I ordered the deluxe plate with Sweet and Sour Chicken, Mongolian Beef, 4 prawns, and one order of egg rolls. I actually thought all of it was pretty good. I normally don’t care for fried rice but theirs is not too shabby. I read previous reviews and decided to steer clear of the sushi and Hawaiian portion of the menu. One of my fortunes read«Blessed are the children for they shall inherit the national debt.»

Going here since I moved to Chico for school, it’s awesome. The food is not cooked until you order it, it has a Hawaiian feel to it, and it serves Sushi. I especially like their Kung Pao shrimp that you can get as an entrée with chow mein and fried rice. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, and a good portion is definitely a dign I’m coming back.

Price is cheap, but so is the quality. The rice meal bowls for $ 4.95 are a good deal, but taste very cheap. Also, they make it in like 10 seconds, which makes me question if their actually making it or just heat it up… Actually a step down from Panda Express. Not that Panda is bad, just very fake. The sushi they sell is good. if you like safeway sushi.

I wanted to come here and update because Wok N Roll sent me over a new order of food to compensate for the sushi. They were horrified when we described the condition of the meet for the tuna and salmon rolls. That’s great customer service, and the new food tasted fantastic. In the future, I’ll probably just steer clear of the sushi and eat the Chinese food.

Came here again the other night.. . still offering what I come here for and it tastes great as usual. Just a good place to go especially if you’re a college student. Seems that alot of students come here for spring rolls because they offer them for a fair price but I’ve never tried them.

Wok ‘N’ Roll is a vendor in our Dorm Dollar and Guest Chef Programs and we receive lots of compliments from residents about this restaurant! Our favorite dish is the Broccoli Beef, you get fried rice, chow mein and two entrees for under $ 7 which is a great bargain for college students. Great location and friendly staff!

If you don’t want to pay very much for your meal, go here. Its not the best chinese food in chico, but it’s good for individual meals instead of family style. They offer dinner specials where you get chow mein, rice, and a meat and i think an egg roll for not too much… however the chow mein is pretty bad. if you’re looking for the best chinese food in chico, i would say try tong fong low, however if you want to pay less. wok n roll will do just fine…

I’m giving this 5 stars to counteract all of the 2 stars. The people who reviewed here weren’t doing it right. You don’t go here for the Hawaiian menu, and you certainly don’t go here for the rice or chow mien. You go for the sauce. Seriously. Just order an entire to-go box of pork with your choice of any sauce on it, and you won’t be disappointed. They have mastered how to make sweet and sour sauce, and every other Chinese restaurant with sauce dishes will taste inferior. So, order the sauce on some meat, take it home, and serve it with some homemade rice.(Or not– you could just eat the sauce). It is guaranteed to be the sweet, sticky, spicy, garlic-y thing you were craving. And the customer service is great too! I think it’s the daughter of the owner who takes your order. She’s always really nice. These guys deserve more business!

Used to eat here all the time when I was in college since craig hall gave free dorm dollars to this place. Yummy Chinese food that i didn’t have to pay for. I’d stick to the basics because everything else is gross. I’ve only gotten beef with broccoli every time. They’re thai tea is good. My last year here they became Hawaiian food, not so good! I’d stick to the Chinese food. Overall, not the best, I wouldn’t pay for it but for free with dorm dollars it’s really good!
