Best buffet in the area. I personally love all the vegetable options they have more veggies than any other buffet!

We will never be back… We thought the food wood be decent quality for the $ 14 a person but… Everything smelt bad including the bathrooms… I left hungry and nauseous. My boyfriend didn’t complain as much but agreed we shouldn’t return… The place was visibly dirty. Walls, chairs, floor… My stomach couldn’t handle it.

So I decided to give this place a try for Mother’s Day. While it was crowded we were seated quickly since it was just 2 of us. The selection and the waitress was absolutely wonderful. My only complaint came with the crawfish and crab legs. I am a big seafood eater so I was disappointed that some of the crawfish and crab legs I picked up were obviously old and some over cooked. Also I know most people come for the crab legs but I was annoyed that one lady waited and took 90 percent of the crab legs they just put out.

Great food and service. The sushi was amazing and had a ton of selection. The coconut shrimp and general chicken were in my opinion their best dishes but everything I tried was very good. They even had a very unique drink menu for a buffet with frozen cocktails and many many choices. The price was a bit high $ 15.99 for dinner but it was a much higher quality buffet then your average chinese buffet. All in all it was definately with the trip and if I’m ever in the area again I will definately be returning.

So… 16 years ago we are at the other Royal Buffet down the road… They had both for awhile. Anyway, we were the only ones in the resteraunt and there was all this buffet food and our infant daughter at the time needed her bottle. The attentive Chinese man brought us a hot container of water to warm the bottle which was nice and proceded to stand and smile at us the rest of the CREEPY time we spent there… The next morning we read that the 2 brothers that owned the place stabbed each other to death with the same butcher knife in the back room.!! I go everytime to the one next to Walmart now. The food is awesome!

Everyone told me that this buffet was the bees knees so I just had to try it. The first time I tried to go here, they were closed for some reason even though it was an hour before closing. The next time I decided to make it for lunch so I know they’d be open. Upon arriving here, the outside of the restaurant had me thinking it was small but walking in, I realized I was wrong. It looks nice on the inside and had plenty of seating. The ambiance of the place is pretty nice and It had an average amount of selections for a buffet. The food was nothing special however, especially for the high price. It’s definitely more pricier then other buffets I’ve been to. The sushi bar was good with plenty of options and that was really the only good part to my visit. The sushi looked fine to me, however it must have been old as I found myself extremely sick after leaving. I will never go there again. I thought the food looked old so I should’ve figured the sushi was old as well. This will definitely be my last choice for a buffet. I also didn’t like how I arrived before dinner hours but got charged for dinner anyway. I would’ve understood if I had stayed there all day and that’s why they charged me more but I was only there for about an hour, maybe less. I’m rating 2 stars just for the general appearance but that’s about it.

everything was good and the service was above average but don’t sweep the floor and kick dust while we’re eating. it’s carpeted floor so it’s worse.

I have had lunch and dinner here countless times and have never had a bad experience. The value and food quality(freshness) are the best in my opinion. It’s the best Chinese buffet I have found in a 50 mile radius.

its your average Chinese buffet. with the safe food they have at every other Chinese buffet. I eat here once or twice a year. only complaint i have is some of the other patrons are loud. go during lunch because its less crowded and quieter.

They have a great selection of food, all pretty tasty. I love the varity. I ate more than I ever have in one seating. I could stay there all day just noshing. I saw no bugs, but was put off by some unruly children that plagued the place.

Mediocre Chinese food, plus an unwanted guest at table — a COCKROACH. We got 10 percent off our bill. I’m mad that Shane L. got his bill comped, and we only got 10 percent. By the way, this is March of 2010 — a year later, and apparently the cockroach problem has been going on for a while. I’m planning on calling the board of health.

The Royal Buffet offers excellent Chinese and(some) American and Japanese food, with a catch — cockroaches. I had been here a few times and was greatly pleased with the variety, quality, service, and value of the food, but on my most recent visit(spring of ’09) I was greeted at the sushi counter by a cockroach making his way across the ice. I called over the manager who scooped up the roach(not kill, but gingerly lift it off the ice and cradle it in his hand) and promise to call pest control immediately. Unfortunately for me, the damage had already been done so the manager waived our bill. Needless to say I have not been back since. If you can live with this fact, the food is of great quality and value and the refills are prompt — three things that are essential when dining out.

This is a pretty good Chinese buffet located near the Dollar Tree and Wal-Mart Supercenter. When I’m traveling between Boston and Albany and I get really hungry, I’ll hop off the Mass Pike at Exit 5 and make a stop at the Royal Buffet for lunch or dinner. As you enter the place, be sure to check out the nice fish pond in the corner. This buffet offers the popular Chinese dishes & items, American dishes, dim sum, stuffed shells, soups, seafood(shrimp cocktail, crab legs, soft shell crab, crawfish, steamers, salmon, squid, raw oysters, mussels), BBQ grill, sushi, roast duck, salads, & desserts(hard ice cream, cake slices from display cooler, jello, fruit, cookies, tarts). The food I’ve had here has been pretty good and tasty each time. I especially enjoy the good seafood selection during dinner, including the steamers, crabs and crawfish! The service is pretty good with refills on drinks and clearing of plates. BUFFETPRICES(as of 12⁄2008): Lunch(Mon-Fri 11:00AM-3:30PM): $ 7.99(Adults), $ 4.99(Kids 6 – 11), $ 3.99(Kids 3 – 5) Dinner(Mon-Fri 3:30PM-9:30PM; All Day Sat, Sun & Holidays): $ 12.99(Adults), $ 7.99(Kids 6 – 11), $ 4.99(Kids 3 – 5) Seniors over 65 get 10 percent off.
