I always come here for the little baby cream puff things. They’re so sweet and delishhhhhhh And for the stale comments, let a person who’s eaten then at least 99 tines tell you that THEYARENOTSTALE. That’s how they actually are. I believe they use different baking ingredients and so the consistency of the puffs are naturally sorta dry. But it’s still amazing and sweet and perfect. So suck it up and pop a puff k?

Super cute bakery! My friend describe it as a cute Taiwanese bakery you see in the Taiwanese films with the cute girl in her cute little dress. My friend and I decided to come here for their cute cream puff. Honestly, the cream puff is super duper cute but I didn’t like it at all. I would just take a picture and save the calories. The thing I really enjoy here was their chocolate bread loaf. It was super moist and delicious. People should come here to eat that. They should turn this place into a dessert house and have a slice of that with ice cream and call it a night. Yum. They also had other bread items that was really good.

My first visit and wasn’t impressed. I got six of the featured cream puffs(3 for $ 5) plus the vanilla and chocolate filling and it wasn’t enough filling for the puffs. Glad to try it but wont go back again as I prefer Beard Papas.

I was really excited to try this place cause of all the stellar reviews. Unfortunately, my excitement was met with a cute but hard, barely edible but shell of dough. The cream filling, which I tried in both flavors were not much of a consolation either. I’ve had many cream puffs before and these just didn’t make the cut

Pre-ordered a birthday cake. Requested to have one layer of pudding in the middle and paid for the pudding. The clerk who took the order said no problem. When we took the cake home and cut it open. To our disappointments, there was no pudding in the cake. I hope better quality control will be in place. It’s a nice bakery with lots of choices in bread and pastry.

This bakery maybe small but they offer a variety of sweets. I bought the mango chiffon cake. It was soft, light, and had the right amount of sweetness(ate the whole thing in one sitting). I also tried the egg tart and I have to say I will be back for more. The cream puffs are so adorable, I have yet to try them. Customer service was excellent. I was helped by the two young men and they were really helpful. I will definitely be back.

I agree w/cream puffs being stale. I only tried out becuase of the cute puffs but it doesnt last long and didnt look like the ones in the pictures… maybe cause it was towards the end of the day. It’s pricey too. I suggest going down the street to 85C.

The cream puffs were so stale. I took them back and they offered me a refund. I wouldn’t come back again.

Going all out 5 stars for puff plus! Service was exceptional, the girl working such a joy to talk to. She took her time explaining all the products and offered samples. I tried the most amazing chocolate chiffon cake, so light and fluffy, I will have to come back as that was the only one of 8 cake flavors they did not have in stock I got the 3 for $ 5 cream puffs along with chocolate custard to pipe at home, again I will have to be back for the vanilla, but chocolate was perfect already. I like that the texture of the puffs is crunchy as opposed to soggy as they are at other places, adds a nice balance with the cream. Our savory pastries were perfection as well, worth a stop while in the area!

This is a great local bakery in chino hills. You won’t get this exceptional service anywhere else and you have the opportunity to try out their cakes with the samples they offer. Prices are not so expensive and I will definitely come back! Love this

Cute shop but I didn’t like their cream puffs. Basically, you are buying empty shell/puffs and they give you the custard(vanilla or chocolate) separately for you to take home. Then you have to put the custard inside the puffs yourself which seems like a hassle to me. I like my cream puffs soft but their puffs were way too crunchy/hard for me. After filling the custard inside the puffs, I left them in the refrigerator for an hour but they were still crunchy. Sorry to say, I probably won’t come here again.

The most adorable cream puffs ever! Came in yesterday after my lunch at Oke Poke to satisfy my sweet tooth. The two gals who greeted me were oh so sweet and welcoming, and had me sample almost everything in there cute little bake shop. They even gave me a sample of their super cute character cream puffs, both the chocolate and vanilla bean custard. YUM! Not your ordinary cream puff. Delicate, light and flaky goodness and the custard was just perfect. You can order these with or without the custard filling, and that’s to keep the puffs from getting soggy. They’ll give you the filling to take home so you can fill them yourself. Fun! 3 for $ 5 or buy 30 get 3 free. I was thinking of ordering some for my son’s birthday party, might make for a fun activity for the kiddos. I also sampled an assortment of their fresh baked breads and this taro cream chiffon cake… mmm so moist and delish and not overly sweet. Sweet tooth, satisfied. Belly, full and happy… just from the samples alone! =) *minimum $ 10 purchase for debit/credit

Growing up in Japan, I am often disappointed when comes to bakery in America. I have to drive many miles to OC or South Bay for good Japanese bakery. Yes 85C bakery is nearby but anyone call that is good bakery simply never had good one before for sure and they only got worse. Recently I found a tiny bakery in Chino Hill so I gave a few try at the Puff Plus. First I liked very friendly service and beautiful smile I got every visit ! About bakery, I can tell owner cares what he bake and ingredients. They prepare in small batch which is a very good sign. Initial few trial had up and down yet constantly got better. Just about 3 weeks from my first visit, I had one of the best bit of the Puff Plus this morning. I can tell this one is pretty close to what I get in Japan. Rough diamond yet hoping this place to be my personal bakery for years to come… so I can save gas also… lol… This bakery is surely one you should try if you want a good home baked«FRESHBREAD!» Forget about low quality 85C supermarket bread made with excess sugar… I wish to see more Artisan bakery from them… Keep up good work!

Phenomenal pastry!!! Their chafferon cakes and birthday cakes are just amazing. Also, if you want authentic boba tea/milk tea, this is the place to get it from!

This review is for the cream puffs. Came in due to the good reviews and the cute cream puff. First, the puffs were just the shell and we had to fill the pastry with cream. I don’t want to pay to make my own cream puff. Second, the puff was not puffy. It was crunchy. The puff started to break as I was trying to fill with cream. The store should be called crunch plus not puff plus. On the plus side, the black tea and egg tart was good.

Legit bakery! They really know how to manage their business. This place always serves only fresh bread. I went here like 10min before their closing time and the cashier said everything was on sale for .99cents except for their refrigerated pastries! You should try this place out! Authentic Taiwanese/Chinese bakery

One of my parents brought a box of cream puffs for the teachers from this bakery a while back and we all thought it was the cutest cream puffs ever!!! I saw the sticker on the box and found out the place was located in Chino Hills. Of course I Unilocaled it. It’s a hidden gem. Located in the same plaza as Albertsons, next door to Phở N Mor. Their bakery is small but they do have other bakery items besides cream puffs. You can buy 3 cream puffs for $ 5 and your choice of vanilla custard or chocolate. They give you a small straw so you can take it home and fill your own cream puff with the pastry bag. Customer service is friendly and they were very helpful. The girl who worked there helped me carry my box of cream puffs to my car since my hands were already full. It makes a perfect gift for your family and friends or party favors and you can order 30 cream puffs and they can give you 3 more for free!

Delicious cream puffs and bakery items! I stopped by when I saw the cute cream puffs outside. After choosing 3(3 cream puffs for $ 5) the lady told me that they had two different fillings: chocolate and custard(made with vanilla bean) and provided the little straw to poke through the cream puff to inject the filling on your own. While they were packing my cream puffs, they also gave me a bunch of samples to try and everything was delicious, especially their chiffon cake. Amazingly soft! Customer service was great too as I conversed with the lady. Will be coming by again tonight with my family!

I wanted to try everything. Had no idea what to expect when I came in but it looked so inviting and bright from the open door. I decided to try their puff pastry first and went with three of the character puffs. Then I was led to the counter and pick a custard: chocolate or cream cheese. The young lady explained to me how to make the puff pastry at home just before eating so I keep the pastry crispy. She showed me the straw to make the little hole and then to place the pastry bag into the space to fill it. When I got home, I immediately placed the custard in the fridge as they had it. I tried to make my first cream puff pastry for my son and it was really easy. Inside the puff pastry, it is all air. It is a delicate pastry and the sweetness is really subtle. Chocolate custard was not as rich as I expected and it was perfect. Loved our first visit and look forward to bringing home more delicate treats from this pastry shop.

Happy to experience homemade chiffon cakes, cream puffs with custard on the side, and bread items closer to home! Quality of baked goods are made with delicate-ness and love. Cute characters adorn the cream puffs. And, it is great that the custard is given on the side. Almost makes it feel like I had a hand in preparing the yummy treat! Great concept… What better than a semisweet treat after having Young Dong next couple of doors over!
