I love it! Call ahead, drive over and park. Drink a boba drink and veolia… dinner for 5 is ready to go! U must eat here. BEST Kung Pao Chicken in SoCal! Large portions. Fast, friendly and courteous service. Best for take out as dine in atmosphere is only so so and they often run out of Diet Coke.

I go to Mandarin Bistro probably every week for their orange chicken rice bowl. It’s probably the best orange chicken I’ve ever had. If you bring back your receipt in 7 days you get 20% off your purchase too. Although their orange chicken is amazing, their customer service isn’t good. They close their kitchen at random times of the day which is annoying, and I’ve heard the cook hawking up spit in the kitchen a couple times which is really gross so hopefully he’s spitting in a trashcan or sink. It’s rating is an A though so I still keep coming back cause I crave the orange chicken so much. Their boba drinks are really good too.

I come to this place alot & have never had any problems. The consistency is there & thats what counts. Ive ordered the same food dish«Ji Pai Fan» at other locations and they cook it way different & its nowhere as tasty. I come here usually to get my favorite taro milk tea slush & I think you cant go wrong with it. I think Lollicup over the years has been one of my favorite chains for Boba drinks. The people here are friendly too. Occasionally they get a rush of people when short handed & it can take awhile for your oder to be ready but that can happen anywhere.

I love their Kung Pao chicken! I’ve never found a place I like better than here for that dish. I’ve also tried their popcorn crispy/spicy chicken, and their beef chow mein, both are delicious and they give you a lot. As for their Boba, it’s good depending on who makes it. The guys makes it fine, and a very tall woman makes it great. But there’s one lady who always makes it super watered down. If I see she’s working, I don’t waste my money. Over all I would suggest going here! Just watch out when ordering boba(maybe ask for easy water?)

This is not the worst, but close. We ordered two special meals, crispy chicken rice bowl n pork chop rice bowl. I was shock when they came out. Each dish is basically a bowl of rice, 3pc broccoli, n the meat. Yup, thats all. The food quality is so so but no presentation at all. We end up ordering one more dish, shrimp with scramle egg, to go along with our lunch. The decors are very outdated, perhaps this place can be the next candidate for the«Restaurant Impossible» show. This is by far the least pleasant experience I had eating at a Chinese restaurant.

3.5 Stars. This is a really good spot to pick up Chinese food if you’re in a rush! Yes yes, foodies back off, I KNOW this isn’t Monterey Park good, but it’s good for Chino Hills! I’m pretty new to the city, but from what I’ve heard it used to just be full of chain restaurants but I’m glad the food selection here is improving a lot! I grew up in the Hacienda/Rowland area and I still like the food here! :) Price: Cheap, usually 5 – 6 bucks for lunch, 7 – 8 bucks for dinner. Rice is included in the entrees. Our favorite is the pork with shredded bell peppers and garlic eggplant. The popcorn chicken is great too! Drinks: Chocolate milk tea is so yummy! The drink menu is pretty good and also very inexpensive Service: Great! I always order To-go here and they get my order completed very quickly and efficiently Parking: private lot, very convenient This place is 3 stars if you’re comparing it to Monterey Park eats, but it’s a solid 3.5ish stars in Chino Hills, I’ll keep coming back :)

been going here a while. the food is pretty good but it’s really nothing special. The drinks are alright but mine werent made right a couple times. it was really watered down and didnt have much flavor. it’s inexpensive but it’s one of those places i would go if i wanted something cheap but still a level up from a fast food joint like mcdonalds.

I used to love this place And never had an issue, but for the past few months they never have boba. I learned my lesson to call first before I waste my time driving here. Their drinks are good, the people are nice, but don’t keep a blinking boba sign on if you’re never, i mean NEVER, gonna have any. First excuse was«were still making it if you can come back later…» sorry, but I want it now. And a business should be fully equipped and ready to go within the first few moments, not HOURS of opening. Second excuse was«we already ran out». Well shouldn’t you know from the previous days and every day that you should possibly start coming in earlier and making ENOUGH for a full business day? Youre only losing business aka precious money if you maintain the motto«we ran out». This has happened to me so many times already. And I only keep coming in bc it’s minutes from my house and it’s pretty damn good stuff. My advice if you want boba? CALLFIRST!

The food is very inexpensive and tastes okay. This wouldn’t be my first choice to go to for Chinese food, but hits the spot if you don’t have time to get to somewhere better. Hadn’t been here in 1 – 2 years. This last time I went I had the combination fried rice, spicy eggplant and beef chow mein. Fried rice was pretty good, the eggplant only okay because it wasn’t all cooked, and the chow mein was bad because it wasn’t even made with chow mein noodles and the beef was pretty tasteless.

I came here when I used to work for my aunt as her secretary at the nail shop right next to it. It used to be my go to spot. Grab some boba and go grab a cookie from Mrs. Fields that they don’t have anymore :[ I love their boba quality! It’s always fresh and it’s texture is amazing. It isn’t mushy like other places I’ve been to like Boba Planet(disgusting). I like their taro slush, taro milk tea, milk tea, green apple snow, and their kiwi slush. Under previous management their food used to be the best fix for quick Chinese food, now it just sucks. I don’t bother grabbing a bite to eat anymore. The boba is yummy! Must try. And it’s local.

I come here to get a boba drink when I’m too lazy to leave the Chino Hills area. I’ve never eaten any of the food. The drinks are okay. I’ve tried various flavors but none of them stand out.

Lemme start off with this, this place used to be good, until they replaced the original skilled chef with the chef from hell. So we haven’t been back here in about a year, & it had probably down graded 90%. Everything we ordered(food) was salty as f*ck. We didn’t even bother to finish the rest. & on top of that, they charge extra for rice… really? You guys really wanted me to pay for your hard ass rice when your dishes were shitty enough. Hell no. We payed and left being sure we weren’t ever going back. So bottom line, dirty as fuck, you can get AIDs there. & food for people who don’t give a flying duck’s ass. Horrible.

This place has some of the best Chinese food for the price your paying all of there beef items are very good it just melts in your mouth, They also have a good sweet and sour sauce that i put on everything. this place is a little more pricey than say a panda express and one of the other cons of this place is if you wanna eat there with a date or your family there are a very limited number of tables. other than that a good place to check out i will Definitely be back.

Got the Happy Hour special with popcorn chicken and milk tea. It tasted like they used low quality chicken(all dark meat and very chewy), and the chicken was not well-seasoned but was just very salty. We asked for the milk tea less sweet, and it was ok. Overall, not sure that we’d come back to this place, but it wasn’t horrible and everything is very reasonably priced. So, even though it was not the tastiest, we didn’t feel robbed of our money.

Decent for Chino Hills, owner is definitely Taiwanese. I come here for the Beef Noodle Soup when the road to Rowland Heights(that’s you, 60 freeway) gets too constipated. They’re one star below Rowland Heights quality, but definitely the best one-stop Taiwanese food fix near the cow-scented city where I’m from. Their boba drinks aren’t bad either. A bit on the pricey side though. If gas prices keep rising, and I can’t make enough extra cash whoreing myself to afford the drive to Rowland, this is where I’ll be.

I can’t believe I never reviewed this place. This has become a regular place for me to grab a quick bite to eat and down some boba nai cha when working in the area. The good stuff includes shrimp with scrambled egg and beef with broccoli. Service is good and prices are reasonable.

I have been looking for a good Mandarin Deli/restaurant in Chino Hills(near CH) for sometime now. I tried a couple of other places in CH, and they just were not good. As soon as I tried the Mandarin Bistro’s onion pancake, I was sure their spicy beef noodle soup would be just as good, and I was right. The soup lived up to my expectations. I no longer have to travel to SGV for some good food. Well, maybe I do, but not for my spicy noodle soup.

Simply put, probably the best version of Taiwanese popcorn chicken I’ve ever had. There aren’t any basil leaves but the pieces of chicken are big and juicy. Yes I said it! Big and juicy. They don’t give you sorry popcorn-sized pieces where you get mostly breading. This place is legit. I even asked them to make it spicy and it totally hit the spot. My friend had a piece of it and was dying after! I also got a large black tea. It was perfectly sweetened to where I could still taste the hint of the tea. Definitely impressed by this place. The service is mediocre as well as the décor but I can’t complain. I came in with no expectations and left totally amazed!

After my nasty NorCal boba experience, I was craving some Lollicup and stopped by for lunch. My family and I have been coming here for quite a while now and always enjoy the food. It’s a great spot for lunch before grocery shopping at Stater Bros next door. We’ve tried many things off the menu, but I particularly enjoy the popcorn chicken meal and noodle soups. The standouts today included scrambled egg shrimp(? something like that) and chicken with asparagus which were awesome with some rice. My milk tea with pudding definitely hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back for more!
