From the live music to the 101 beer selection this place is amazing! I love how we can come in our casual clothes and feel welcomed.

Great place. I came with a party of nine and everyone thought the food was good. Only issue was we must’ve waited at least over an hour and a half for our entrees to come out.

I discovered Le Creperie in long beach many years ago since I live 5 minutes away from it. I loved it and frequented it on numerous occasions. While visiting my sister in Chino Hills, I found out they opened a location less than 10 minutes from her house. Upon my first visit, I noticed the location was bigger, but still seemed new because it was not as busy as the long beach location. It was the same menu, same ambiance, and same good service.

Hard to give this place a high review when you have the Long Beach location blowing this one out the water. Quality of food and service is subpar to the Long Beach one. Kind of a shame because I wanted to love this location. Extra star for the garlic fries/check in thing. But besides that, meh… i’ll pass. Sorry.

Came here on a tuesday night and noticed that the parking lot was empty and pretty much the entire restaurant was empty, but dont let that fool you. I ordered the crêpe carbonara and it was great. The entire meal tasted great. The chicken, the sauce, and the actual crêpe wrap itself all blended perfect together. Its a fairly big order for a very reasonable price. The other people in my group ordered different items and also dessert and they throughly enjoyed it as well. The 3 big reasons why im giving this place 5 stars is: 1) The food. Tasted great at a reasonable price 2) Customer service was great. Our waitress was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. She kept refilling our beverages without even asking. Its been said you can tell a lot about your waitress/waiter by the amount of times they refill your beverage without asking and the lady helping was on top of her game. 3) They are vape friendly. Me and my party are vapers and our waitress said we can vape in the restaurant! Ill definitely be back to try out their dessert crepes.

I have never been so insulted, or had a more negative experience at a restaurant. To sum it up, we waited over twenty minutes for drink refills, and ended up having to leave the restaurant without eating after waiting an hour and a half for our food. To make matters worse, we looked for a manager on our way out to pay for the drinks that we had consumed, but neither we or the hostess could locate one. After waiting for another five minutes for a manager to be sighted, we just walked out. When we got to our cars, a «manager» ran out and asked us if we had paid our bill.(This is the same manager that came to our table and took our cups away to refill our drinks and never returned). He was unapologetic and spoke to us with total disrespect and did not seem to care about our concerns. Even though this experience had ruined our Mother’s day, we went back inside with him to pay for the drinks we had consumed. However, on the way in he made a flippant remark calling us «thieves» for leaving the restaurant without paying. I have never felt so enraged or insulted at a restaurant. I don’t know how on earth this guy became a manager. We immediately asked to speak with the owner who did come and profusely apologize and comp the drinks for us. We were not the only table waiting a while for our food, which was puzzling because the restaurant was not filled to capacity. Another gross thing was the one of the plates they put down in front of us at the table that wasn’t what we ordered was actually for another table. Unlike most restaurants, they took this plate from our table and served it to someone else. This is gross and unsanitary, and would not be the practice at another more functional restaurant. Never going back to this restaurant again — if I want Le Creperie, I’m going to drive the extra 50 miles to Long Beach to avoid this place.

We went here the other day after hearing amazing things about the location in Long Beach. Unfortunately, this is just not to par with what I have heard about the other location. We went in on a Sunday for brunch. The place was not busy whatsoever. There were a few couples seated in booths and a party of 5 sitting at a table. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken. I ordered the Stallion Crêpe which has a pretty tasty italian sausage. However, the crêpe was relatively dry and bland. The S.O. got the Southwest Crêpe. His tasted a bit better then mine because it had avocado and more flavor. This was the problem — the extremely long wait for our food given the fact that the place was dead. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, which didn’t seem right. I went to ask the manager about our wait time and she said that omelets take a long time. Funny thing is, we did not order an omelet. Then, when the manager realized our order she was profusely apologetic and offered us dessert. Our server was also very nice the entire time. Either way, the food was not spectacular and the kitchen staff really does have to get their timing down. People will be expecting the same quality as Long Beach and will be disappointed with this location. I am bumping up this review to 3 stars for the manager trying to correct the error. However, I don’t think it’s really worth a visit.

My friend took me to La Creperie Café for a lunch date, and it was delicious! The place has a Bohemian feel to it, not really what I expected from the outside. It was nice though, and the staff was really friendly. We both wanted something savory and sweet, but my friend didn’t think 2 was enough so we ended up ordering 3. I know what you’re thinking — what fatties. But she’s the fittest person I know! I guess that just leaves me… For our entrees, I ordered the Parisian(chicken breast, fresh spinach, sweet red peppers and mozzarella in a basil & feta cream sauce) and she ordered the Zorba(fresh sautéed spinach, feta cheese, tomatoes, caramelized onions and kalamata olives in a vegetable broth). The Parisian was really good! Creamy, but not too heavy and the flavors were delicious. I was surprised at the amount of chicken they gave because usually places skimp on the meat. However, they gave so much I couldn’t even finish it. My friend’s Zorba was pretty good too, and it was a lot healthier. The only downside was that it was a bit too salty. For dessert, we shared the Martinique(bananas flambéed in dark rum with brown sugar in a warm crêpe with French vanilla ice cream). It was quite decadent and delicious! I wanted to finish it all, but I was so stuffed I could only take a few bites. La Creperie Café is a great place for some tasty crepes and friendly service!

I finally was able to ease my fix for crepes!!! Long story, short version… I told my cousin how I once had dessert crepes and how amazing they were and that I pretty much was having withdrawals because it’s been wayyyyyyy too long. She told me about this place(La Creperie Café), she actually went to the one in Long Beach but we discovered the Chino location and tonight was the night. This place was absolutely amazing!!! I give it 5 stars but if I could borrow the unused stars from some of the other places I’ve went and written a review, I would give them to La Creperie. We had the full out ensemble. Appetizer — went with the garlic fries of course. They were D — licious :). They came with dipping sauces chipotle, ranch, and ketchup. I personally am a chipotle fan but they weren’t in need of any of the sauces. They were the table and devoured all within a matter of minutes. Not to mention how big they were. Easily could shared among 4. It was 3 in our party but just my cousin and I ate the fries. We didn’t need any help anyway. Main course — I had the Al Mare: jumbo shrimp, sundried and plum tomatoes, wild mushrooms, shallots and mozzarella in a lobster basil cream sauce. Now this was a treat, it deserves it’s own page on the menu. The shrimp was in fact jumbo, they must have been working out. The wild mushrooms had me hallucinating that my crêpe was being eaten, oh wait… it was. The cheese gave it a little extra umph, you can never go wrong with cheese in my book. But that lobster basil cream sauce… Man I was tempted to use my finger to make sure I got every drop of that sauce, I NEEDTHATSAUCEINMYLIFE!!! Definitely in a class by itself not enough stars to even give this dish. Our friend had the same dish as me(trying to be like me and ish lol) thus, same results. My cousin had the Parisian: chicken breast, fresh spinach, sweet red peppers and mozzarella in a basil and feta cream sauce. I did in fact taste this dish, unfortunately it was AFTER I tasted all of life’s goodness in the Al Mare but to be fair to the Parisian it was actually fairly tasty and the feta cream sauce was to my liking. I say it was a solid 4 stars. Now to the dessert(which is what brought about the whole crêpe desire in the first place). We had the Napoleon: fresh strawberries, crème brûlée custard and a crispy brulee crust. The play by play of how the dessert went. First bite I was saddened, I was looking for strawberries. 2nd bite, what the hell!!! Still no strawberries, where you little things hiding. 3rd bite, ahhhhhhhhh now that’s the taste I’ve been after! The strawberries definitely make this dish. If they could overload it with strawberries I’d say 5 stars but I had to go searching so I’m going to have to give it a 4.5 If you love crepes or just want to try something different head over to La Creperie Café, my recommendation would obviously be the Al Mare. Enjoy!!!

This is a shittiest version a «La Creperie Café» I’ve been to. The décor is such a poor cheap attempt at the Bohemian look compared to the two other stores in Long Beach. I did loved my waitress Michelle H. who was very good, very cute, sweet and tolerant of me. I asked for a cup of coffee and I got a very weak tasting cup of black water(this was at 2:30pm… F.Y.I… whoever made that pot of coffee). So I exchanged it for a double espresso which fixed my problem. I had the Onion soup and the Escargot and I give them both a «C+» at best. I had better at the other stores. I enjoyed the basic salad the most that came with my Croque Madame I ordered, which was a double-decker yawn fest of a sandwich. The garlic fries were good, but the TASTELESS and I mean tasteless Bechamel sauce that came with it was a big joke. It was just as bad as the black water I got. I don’t know what the fuck the cook was thinking but I guess he doesn’t «care». In short… there was NOLOVE coming from the kitchen at all. The Chino store cook didn’t give a shit it seemed. This was on 12−29−12 at 2:30pm in case someone of importance is reading this and cares about the Chino Creperie. Compared to the others, it’s embarrassing.

The special fixed dinner thing is a rip off… If you tally everything up, you end up saving a couple of bucks. If they did an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert for $ 25, now that is a deal worth ordering. Honestly, the portions are big so you just need to share an appetizer, share an entrée… so that you can share the dessert!!! Carbonara and Romeo & Juliet yum!!!

Consistently delicious crepes :) this location is usually pretty empty, but people just don’t know what they’re missing out on! I love the savory Dipollo(my bf usually gets it with ham, but you can also order it with chicken or turkey). Today I wasn’t super hungry(I had eaten just before my bf came to visit, haha) so I just ordered the Crêpe Vendome from the appetizer menu. SOGOOD! My bf was talking about it hours after we left :) just the right amount of brie flavor(which I know can be overwhelming) and the right amount of sweetness and savory~ My new goal is to try every savory crêpe on the menu, haha. The only thing is the water tastes odd. Order a drink.

Don’t be ashamed, darling. Chino is the new Paris. Not Hilton, because La Creperie is clean, classy, and has a right to be famous. AnyObsoletePopCultureReference, Le Creperie Café is like a lot of other crêpe restaurants(Paris Crepes and Café Crêpe on 3rd Street Promenade come to mind) in that you can use your pornographic imagination to concoct practically any combination of ingredients to form a Voltron of crepegasmic gluttony, but there’s alcohol here, too(beer and wine), so you can take your doctor’s advice and actually eat something before getting wasted. Score! No wait, this is France(by way of Chino), so Touché! Another cool thing about La Creperie(other than being near TJ Maxx, where you can buy weird patio furniture at Tijuana or Queens trunksale prices) is that there’s a diverse menu beyond crepes(sandwiches, salads, and other stand-alone dishes), and the crepes themselves can be chopped and screwed like a Paul Wall/Mike Jones track for a dirty South breakfast, Manhattanite lunch, or Hollywood dinner. Don’t worry, not even I know what the hell I mean. Anyway, $ 50 is enough for you and your date for food, drinks, and tip. I recommend bringing another $ 6 for Walmart in case you want to buy groceries for the week. Oh, one more thing, no one at La Creperie speaks French, but you’ll French kiss like a bandit. I mean, you’ll make out like a bandit. Yes. I am drunk as I type this.

Okay, Chino Hills has a little something something after all. You are on the map, baby! It’s casual with a well-priced upscale menu($ 10 – 13) — perfect for a first date or a business lunch, a family outing, or with your BFF’s. La Creperie has a woodsy, pubby feel, with beers on tap, and wines by the glass. Featuring signature dishes of crepes, pastas, soups and salads — it has something for everyone. The service was also fantastique! From what I gather, they are known for their garlic fries(next time!), and the variety of sweet, savory, and breakfast crepes. On this day, I tried two(2) items: — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – 1. The Southwest breakfast crêpe: spicy and good! A savory crêpe with scrambled eggs, avocado, green chilies, tomatoes, homemade salsa, mozzarella cheese, and sour cream. Olé’! 2. Chicken Caesar salad, which was really tasty, and so large — I couldn’t finish it all. The chicken used was grilled, cut into 5 – 6 nice chunks, and REAL. Very very good.(I know, WTH Randy? A salad? Gotta watch the Unilocal 10 pounder that’s been forming around my midsection) For lunch, it’s fairly quiet… no waiting at all. I’ve had crepes in the past but they are usually sweet. This place specializes in a variety of crêpe dishes that can satisfy your cravings. I’ve been here twice and here are the following that I’ve had with my boyfriend and friends. Appetizer –Escargot: snails smothered in garlic butter, shallots and fresh parsley with sliced baguette for dipping –Calamari: comes with 3 dips(chipotle aioli, marinara, sweet thai chili sauce) –French Onion Soup Crêpe Entrée –Crêpe Carbonara: Chicken breast slices and smoked bacon in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce with pesto. YUMMY! –Jambalaya: Andouille sausage, caramelized onions, tomatoes, jumbo shrimp and chicken breast in a spicy Louisiana sauce. DELISH! Dessert –Martinique: Bananas flambéed in dark rum with brown sugar in a warm crêpe with French vanilla ice cream. SWEETANDDECADENT. This is actually one of their popular desserts. The ambiance is casual and on certain nights there’s music entertainment provided by a local band. The servers are very friendly and open to explaining about their specials. A very nice thing that I learned about this place is that you do not need to ask the servers to split the check among your friends. There is a single bill served to the table, in which the orders are split by seat number. Convenient, yes? I would definitely come here again.

I thought this was one of those restaurants that called itself La Creperie, but offered many other French/Bohemian dishes. I was so wrong! The menu was mainly filled with relatively inexpensive sweet and savory crepes($ 7 — $ 14)…overwhelming! Luckily, breakfast items(my fave!) are served until 3PM, so I chose the St. Germain, which was filled with Parisian ham, scrambled eggs, «mozarelle» and button mushrooms. Chris K. was so considerate to take the caramelized onions(grossness!) out of his Stallion breakfast crêpe(Italian sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, «mozarelle», basil), so that I can poke at his dish, as well. :D It took awhile for our entrees to be brought out, but we had really awesome garlic fries with fresh minced garlic to keep our tummies sustained temporarily. I was glad to be starving when we got here, because our crepes were ginormous! As if our crepes were not filled enough, there were extra ingredients piled on top of each crêpe. I liked my crêpe, but there wasn’t much flavor to it… basically, it tasted too healthy. :) Chris K. thought the sausage added a lot of flavor to his crêpe. I have yet to order something better tasting than his dishes! :/ We barely stuffed down our savory crepes, but gave into the temptation of the Romeo & Juliet dessert crêpe. Nutella, strawberries, and bananas… simplicity is key! Like its menu, the restaurant is also huge. A little too big for such specialized cuisine, adorned with strange decorations. Regardless, with so many crêpe choices and entertaining servers, I can’t wait to return to try the 2 people prix fixe $ 40 meal and the Happy Hour!

We decided to try this place out and were pleasantly surprised. We went on a Wednesday night and the place was completely dead. The entire time we were in the restaurant, there were only two other couples at booths and a couple of people at the bar. Even so(or maybe because of this) we had excellent service. The waiter had great suggestions since it was our first time here. We had the Lobster Bisque which had huge chunks of lobster in it. There aren’t many places in this area that serve lobster bisque. The portions are large. We were able to share the lobster bisque and our crêpe. They also served bread with the meal. The only complaint I had was that(since this location used to be a Black Angus) the restaurant still has the old Black Angus booths along the walls and the seats are very used. There were cracks in the vinyl and it seemed tacky. Other than that, they completely removed all of the booths that were in the middle of the eating area and placed a ton(and I mean a ton) of tables. We were told that on the weekends, live jazz music happens inside of the restaurant and we saw a large open space with a baby grand piano in it, but haven’t had the chance to experience the live music for ourselves. Overall, this place has a nice atmosphere, great service, and excellent food. Although this won’t be a «regular» for us, we’re definitely going back.

I was so excited about a crêpe place finally making it’s way to chino/chino hills, but was so deterred from visiting because of its hefty pricing. I left the job early because I had a meeting at the rugrat’s school so I figured this would be a good time to check this place out since I could take advantage of the lunch specials. Now, I frequent a small crêpe shop in brea which never fails to deliver a delectably sinful savory or sweet crêpe so I had high expectations. The restaurant itself is nice, with the tables far enough apart that intimate dining is very possible. We were seated and a friendly waitress greeted us and handed our menus. I took some time perusing the menu because this would be my first impression of the place so I wanted to try one of their more popular or signature dishes. Little one ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and a milk. I ordered the dipollo crêpe cause I’m a sucker for the words: cream, mozzarella, and mushrooms. This came with a salad so I got ceasar. My salad came. that was a bust. The presentation was that of a $ 10 diner. The dressing was not creamy, as you would expect from this dish. I gave my croutons to my daughter and put the bowl aside. Our dishes came and I must say I was impressed. My daughter’s order came with fries and it was a large plate of food. Her sandwich was adult sized. Fries done nicely. Her sammy was pressed well, but I wasn’t too ecstatic about the cheese they used. It would suit an adult palate, but not my 9 year old’s. It had an earthiness to it that rendered the sandwich just ok, but still impressive in size. My dipollo came and it was a good portion of crêpe. The sauce was beautiful and paired well with the other ingredients. They weren’t cheap with the chicken either. Totally enjoyed it. I wanted the little one to finally have her first crêpe ever, so the best way to introduce that to her is smothered in chocolate. We got the chocolate chocolate dessert crêpe — her choice– which had nutella, chocolate and strawberries. That thing was large. The crêpe itself was chocolate and had a generous amount of strawberries and chocolate, but the nutella was amiss. The whipped cream seemed to be your general aerosol kind, not the chantilly cream that I got accustomed to at my other crêpe spot. Sadface. Overall, wasn’t too thrilled with this dessert, but I’m sure the others are better. Overall, the experience was okay, maybe I’ll return soon just for good measure.
