So so disappointed! We have been coming here with my hubby for the beef noodle soup, pork dumplings and green onion pancake… But the quality of the food has declined significantly… The soup if you can call it that was literally water with noodles, tough beef and a light brown color tasted GROSS! At least the dumplings are still decent. We also tried the park tofu for the first time and it was decent. I don’t know how likely we are to come back.

Mins was pretty good. I enjoyed the green onion pancakes, pan fried dumplings and juicy pork dumplings w/sweet n sour and soy sauce. The beef fried rice was too«fishy». The place could use a good cleaning. The floors were sticky like walking on glue

Quality food, with decent portions, especially for the money. We found a couple of the dishes that day a little on the salty side, but pretty solid place all around, which is nice since we know the other location in Corona better. It’s hard to gauge the quality of a restaurant on one visit, but it’s surely worth another trip if we’re ever in the area, at least.

On my way to the doctor office, I stopped by this place to grab some take outs for dinner yesterday. Came in early afternoon, the restaurant was very small. I was told that most of there food would only take 10 – 15 mins to prepare, that wasn’t the truth at all. I wouldn’t had mind waiting but I had my doctor appt to attend to. Service wise, hard to say as I only dealt with the person taking the order. I can tell you that the waitresses that was working wasn’t too friendly when asked about my food. I had ordered the potstickers, hot/sour soup and some Asian pancake. All of my food was very blend, barely any flavor at all. I wasn’t very impressed.

I really did not enjoy this place. We ordered to go, and the lady taking our order was really rude. We ordered Kung Pao chicken, Szechwan Chicken, green onion pancake and some fried rice. The Szechwan chicken had very minimal chicken, and the rest was just dried chili peppers. The ratio was about 30% chicken 70% chili peppers-which is a joke. The chicken was fried and hard-it definitely was not enjoyable. The Kung Pao chicken was alright-I’ve had better. It was not as savory as other spots I’ve tried. The green onion pancake was crispy and hard– a bit of a disappointment because it felt stale. I felt like everything was frozen and then microwaved! Fried rice was average. That’s all I felt had the most flavor in it, sadly. Paid about $ 30 for everything and I felt ripped off in the end. I think I’m going to have to pass on coming here again. The Shanghai restaurant right around the corner was better, but unfortunately they closed down. Also, when we approached the restaurant the lights were off and the waitress was sitting on the table on her phone. The minute we walked in and a few others followed she turned on the lights. Awkward much?

The husband and I still go here occasionally. We’ve funneled down our usual order to 2 orders of the juicy pork dumplings and the beef noodle soup. We used to order a lot more; like fried rice(delicious but oily) and walnut shrimp(delicious, but fatty) but always had leftovers. Service is consistent. Not overly friendly, but not rude. Not fast, but no slow. All in all, this is an average place and my husband and I will find ourselves returning here every so often.

I was craving some dumplings and found this place on Unilocal!Options chosen were #1: Juicy pork Xiao Long Bao, #5 Pan Fried Dumplings, and #9 beef rolls. The smaller portion of the beef rolls wasn’t what I’m normally used to, but that’s okay, at least it tastes like what I’d get at other Taiwanese establishments. The XLB was delicious as expected! It is steaming hot upon arrival, so make sure you wait a moment before chomping down on these! They are JUICY as the title mentions, too! The pan-fried pork dumplings were good with the first few bites, but after awhile, it felt like there was too much ginger in each bite, and I could only take so much in one sitting. Glad to have my boyfriend there to help me eat! We were both too full from all 3 appetizers to even try their other items, so we will be back to try them at a future visit! Service was friendly, and you have to walk up to the cashier to pay there after your check arrives.

This was our first time going and the service was horrible. We tried a couple of items: Sweet and sour spare ribs, kung poa chicken, and chicken fried rice were good. The wor wonton soup was not the best l’ve had. Due to the horrible service I do t think I would come back to this place.

They are back at B and I get why. My experience was partly bad because a guy next to me would not stop complaining(loudly) because the waitress gave us their order of orange chicken right after we ordered it. We ordered: Juicy pork dumplings Orange zest chicken Beef soup Onion pancakes Kung Pao Chicken. Pancakes were great the dumplings were alright but tasted frozen. The orange zest chicken had a lot of tendon and my friend wasn’t into that. The Kung Pao was pretty great. Now the soup was the last to come out and the beef was really tough, at that point with the guy next to us complaining and me filling up on onion pancake; I had enough and just left it. The waitress kept ignoring us. She seemed overwhelmed. The only other waiter seemed overwhelmed and was trying to be helpful when we could get his attention. I had to get up and ask for the check after trying to catch either one of them. Overall the experience was not a good one. The food was edible and actually had nice flavor but I just won’t be going back for all that!

My new fave Chinese restaurant in chino! Finally found some delicious and authentic Chinese food in this area! We ordered the pork spare rib, eggplant, juicy steamed dumplings, string beans and fried rice. It was so good(probably because of all that oil) that we were silent during the entire meal. Don’t bother me, I’m eating! I would say the green beans are a must since I’ve never had such flavorful string beans in my life! The fried rice is also very tasty! Omg, how can I forget about the beef wrap?! It’s freaking tasty also. Just order everything!!!

I don’t know why the reviews aren’t better for this place. For the food, location and price, this restaurant is solid! Tried: Juicy pork dumplings Shanghai style noodles Green beans Green onion pancake Beef rolls Verdict: Everything was good, but juicy pork dumplings and green beans were my favorite! I’m not going to exaggerate and say it’s the same as din tai fung, but it gets pretty close IMO, and considering the convenient location, no wait, and their reasonable pricing, I prefer this place over din tai fung.

Just tried this place while visiting family. Ordered the Beef Roll, Beef Noodle Soup, Pork Buns, Cucumber Salad, Sweet n Sour Pork, and XLB. Everything was tasty. Honestly I think Din Tai Fung has better XLB but this doesn’t have an insane wait and is cheaper. Overall it’s a good dumpling. Filling is excellent but the dough isn’t as delicate as DTF. Beef Roll is a 5 star and the Beef Noodle Soup is tasty. The cucumber salad is just ok. Pork Bun is tasty. Sweet n sour pork was really flavorful. Place is pretty tiny and the servers are really nice. Will defiantly go back here if I’m in the area

Though the food is decent, I had a mediocre, leaning towards negative, experience here. It was about 130p, called in an order, showed up about 5 minutes later and proceeded to the register. The man at the counter barely regarded me at all. I said I may put in additional items since I was already waiting anyway, and was received with barely a nod or a shrug. At that point, i told myself eff it, I’ll just wait for the original items I ordered: 2 orders of pan fried dumplings and 2 orders of onion pancake. Time just went and I could have sworn at least two of the tables that came in after me got served first. As I was sitting at an empty table, one of the other servers had crossed paths with me, didn’t even utter an I’m sorry or excuse me, though I certainly did. Half an hour had passed, many tables and to go orders later, he bagged up my food and sent me on my way. When I got home, there were my onion pancakes –crispy and airy, quite good actually. But to my upset, no dumplings. Instead, I got an order of their salt/pepper fried chicken. I called back, told them they handed me a partially incorrect order and he asked if I wanted to return the chicken. First off, that isn’t the way you handle a mistake. He wasn’t apologetic, rather, his inclination was to have me come back and return the chicken so he could exchange it for the right thing. I told him I would come back after my family ate and I would pay for the chicken since I didn’t think I should return it to be served to someone else. I came back with my credit card, offered to pay for it and he said not to worry about it. He handed me my bag and I walked off. Lo and behold, he gave me ONE order of the dumplings. Not the two that I had paid for. Wow. I was so appalled. The food may have delicious, but with service like this –completely and utterly nullifies any positives.

Overall pretty good. Service needs a bit of work. The server came and took our order without writing it down. We got everything except he forgot the white rice. He also neglected to bring us bowls for the soup and said he’ll be back with some bowls. He never came back and we had to ask another server. Garlic cold cucumbers– Yum. Lots of garlic and vinegar. XLB– Good and juicy. This dish will come out last. I noticed that many tables had started eating their dishes when the XLB came out. Beef rolls– Just okay. 1 order has 4 pieces. Hot and Sour soup– This was okay. The flavor was a bit off. Sour, but not much savoriness. Garlic eggplant with pork– Lots of oil, but very delicious. Approx $ 32 and some change. Accepts card and we got a coupon for $ 2 off our next visit. Clean, has restrooms, and not too busy on a Sunday night at 7pm.

Unilocal 2015 Challenge #60 2.5 stars. Came in on a Friday afternoon around noon with a coupon that you get in the mail/fliers. It was a coupon for free dumplings after $ 30OR $ 2 off $ 20-$ 40 of food OR $ 4 off $ 40, etc, etc. When we ordered, we handed the employee the coupon(we calculated that we had spent around $ 25) and she said that we didn’t fit the minimum. We told her we planned on using the $ 2 off $ 20 coupon. We spent $ 25. Doesn’t that fit under $ 2 off $ 20-$ 40? Well she went to who I would assume to be the manager and after they talked it over, they finally agreed we fit under the qualifications. For some odd reason, after we finished ordering and she had took the coupon away, we still had our menus with us. Took about 2 – 3 more minutes for her to realize that we didn’t need the menus anymore. Shady service. At this time, I was like oh dear u_u and we hadn’t even eaten any food yet! The food… a bit better. The fried rice cake was the best of the batch. It had flavor(but was vegetarian). It had a lot of oil, but kinda expected. It was soft but in a good way. I would recommend this dish :) Pan fried dumplings– stay away. Not only was the meat grounded wayyyyy too much, it felt like there wasn’t too much meat PLUS the fact that the dumplings had not been fried for the correct amount of time(underfried, I guess?). Nooooo sir. Beef roll had great sauce and enough beef and cucumbers/watercress?(I think that’s the vegetable that goes in haha). Juicy pork dumplings were alright. It was nothing too spectacular for me. OH and there’s no more $ 20 get free XLB :( It’s replaced with $ 2 voucher/coupons off $ 20 of food, etc, etc. :( I will give credit, they have pretty nice décor. Yeah. Go to 1+1 Dumpling House.

4 stars Chinese food? Not even close. Juicy Pork Dumplings — Come on, who doesn’t order these at a Chinese restaurant if they have them? When I saw these, it was just sad. The dumplings were all wrinkly and couldn’t even stand up right. It was like a baby folded these. Flavor wise, it was surprisingly juicy. The inside was better than the soggy dumpling skin. Sweet and Pungent Spare Ribs — The color of the spare ribs was unnaturally red. It looked as if they used food coloring to dye their meat. And on top of that, it was 80% bone and 20% meat. Plus, the meat was so hard, I ended up only eating a few because I got tired of trying to rip it off the bone. Ugh disappointing. Drive to Rowland Heights for some authentic Chinese food.

Was craving juicy pork dumplings but knew that my favorite spot would have a long wait. A quick Unilocal search later and we found ourselves here… I loved it for what it was — a cheaper, quicker alternative to Din Tai Fung. The food was good, and there was ZERO wait on a Sunday afternoon. I could easily see myself coming back here on many a Sunday, or any other day I am in the area. In addition to their juicy pork dumplings, I also tried their shrimp/pork dumplings, chicken fried rice, and walnut shrimp. I would recommend everything I tried, except for the walnut shrimp. It wasn’t bad, but just didn’t do it for me personally. I noticed a fellow Unilocaler rated their food a «7» to Din Tai Fung’s «10»… This seems about right to me, so long as a «5» is average. I also noticed some people complain about the service here, but we did not have any issues. We called ahead to see if there was a long wait, and were given an honest answer — «Not right now but it could get busy any minute». This was pretty dead on as, while there was no wait for us, we were given the last available table. During our meal we noticed a few parties waiting but nothing ridiculous like the lines at Din Tai. While seated, the service was good. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing worth complaining about either. Maybe we got lucky but I definitely plan on returning to find out. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, and one of what I hope to be many more to come. Good food, good service, great prices, and no ridiculous lines. I would recommend them to any and all dumpling fans.
