I have worked here in Chino almost 7 years and cannot believe this is my first time trying this place. I was craving chilaquiles for breakfast so turned to Unilocal and found this place, it was close and had good reviews. They were delicious lots of flavor and a good kick. I will definitely be back to try other items, but will bring cash to avoid the .50 cent charge for using a card.

My review is going to sound a bit harsh, but only because this place makes good Mexican food and with a little a tweaking could have made me a happier customer. I ordered a pork tamale, tacos, and a chile relleno burrito. My chile relleno burrito was filled with 80% rice and 20% beans. For me the rice ruined the burrito. However, the ‘chile relleno’, in the burritto, was very good and one of the best I’ve had in a while. I am also flummoxed by the pastor tacos, as the meat had a strong tomato bbq sauce taste, maybe a regional thing? The tamale was on the small side, but had a decent pork meat to masa ratio, and was not dry. If you’re not doing Kirkland tamales, then these have to be ordered a day ahead if you want a dozen for your Christmas table. The salsa’s were super tasty. I ordered a small order of salsa, which they forgot to place in my to-​go bag. Lot’s of seating inside.

This little Hidden Gem in Chino has the best Taco’s and every thing els you could want in AUTHENTIC Mexican Food. I come here all the time and NEVER disappointed.
Also the fresh Agua Fresca/​Juices are so delicious. Their cucumber is THEE Bomb, Melon, Pineapple and horchata are the best.

Mulas r bomb! Family operated restaurant with deeeelicious food and great service! I’ve been going here for over 10 years and have never had a complaint.: I highly recommend the carne asada tacos. A side of beans and the ceviche tostadas too!

I’ve been coming here for about 5 years and usually order the carne asada burrito. I’ve noticed the price went up last year to $ 6 and today it was $ 7. And my jarrito was $ 1.50. Come on guys… stop jacking up your prices. You’re not the only game in town…

Great food for a great price. Tuesdays and Wednesdays tacos are for $ 1 each. I got a fried jalapeño and some grilled onions with some fresh salsa with my meal. I have a new favorite restaurant now!

Im usually here every wednesday for their taco special. I have tried other Mexican places around chino this place is a bit pricey but I enjoy they’re taco special. Food is good and you get free WiFi.

Wednesday $ 1.00 Tacos it doesn’t get any better than that!
I got 4 tacos, Lg aqua de piña, sprite, 1 Asada mulita $ 9 not bad.
My nephew is a very picky eater as most young boys are. «Pizza, chicken nuggets, burgers» is the Only food he likes. Well he ate his two tacos and said «Not Bad, Jack»
The tacos never change which is a great thing! You lose trust in restaurants that start to change the food.
Breakfast burritos are bomb!

I ate the 2 sopes combo, and it was delicious! The place doesn’t look like much from the outside and the inside is very simple. The food is what we went there for. Seeing the reviews on Unilocal,I took family coming from out of town to eat here. Our group of 6 enjoyed our meals and the prices are very reasonable. $ 48 bucks for six combination plates with drinks and seconds on the agua fresca. The food and drinks alone are worth coming back; at these prices you know we will be back. Be sure to try the agua fresca de pina it’s good. It’s not sweet.

Madrigal has seen better days, at one point they had to prepare tacos outside because it’d get so packed, a couple of times they would serve other people first even though I was there first, that was why I stopped going, a few years later now they’re pretty empty most of the time, long gone are the lines, the mobile station which used to park outside the corral bar, sometimes you’ll see them at city events, the food isn’t horrible but something’s missing, if you try them I’d say go for the carnitas, that’s their best dish, other than that, there’s alternatives around the area for anything else they could offer.
