Ok, so when a starving 15 year old boy can’t finish his $ 7 burger because, «it just doesn’t taste right.» And management won’t replace the burger… that’s bad.
When u add the filthy seats and floors, that’s bad.
But, the bathrooms… really? That was the worst bathroom I’ve ever seen. I’m mean port-​potty would have been a better option. I was so grossed out we had to leave the establishment.
If the seats, floors and bathrooms are unsanitary and my starving 15 year old can’t finish his burger. I worry about food safety.
Beware.

Had left Carls for awhile and had been hesitant to return, but gave them a second chance, they’re coupon deals are always great,. went today at around 5:45 a busy time, placed a special order for my famous star. The burger was perfect, everything I special requested was done perfectly. I am so happy they are trying harder for our business I will definitely be back. Everyone from the drive thru order taker to cashier was friendly and courteous. Great to be back for my favorite famous star.

Worst service ever and I ask for a miltarty discount. And they were so rude about it didn’t care about the miltarty

Fast food. I walked into this location today. I could tell the kitchen staff was new. The manager took like 5 minutes to take my order because she kept telling them they weren’t going to make their time for the speed of service. It’s crazy to me. I know it takes at least 30 seconds longer for someone that isn’t familiar with a recipe to prepare it. I felt so bad for them.

August 20, 2015 at around 6:45pm my husband went and placed our order via their drive-​thru. When he got to the window he asked for condiments and got charged 0.20 per. Our total was a little over $ 20, only to realize that they had messed up our order. They never canceled one of the burgers he had told them he no longer wanted and when he stopped to check what was inside the bag, he realized they had given him the wrong chicken club and our french fries were literally half empty. The only good thing about this Carl’s Jr is that is literally 5 minutes away from us but everything else is horrible.

On Aug 12, 2015 around noon I placed an order via the drive-​up for 1 order of chili cheese fries, 1 large double natural beef burger combo with no onions, and one regular #1 combo with no cheese. I was on jury duty that day and was rushing home for lunch and did not check my order as I left the restaurant (clearly my fault for not checking. When I drove up to the window, the young lady told me the total and I paid. She then handed me the large Coke that went with the large combo. I had another small (regular) Coke coming for the #1 combo but didn’t receive it. I thought that I would be getting it with the burgers and fries. I waited a good 5 minutes before the order was handed to me. At that time, I was the only one in the drive-​up, so it was not busy. I had to ask for the small drink, as they had overlooked that they had not given it to me.
One would think that after five minutes a crew could put together a decent order of fast food. When I got home I discovered that they did not give me my order correctly. First, there were NO chili cheese fries but a large order of fries. My son’s double natural burger turned out to be some burger with mushrooms in it and it had onions to boot! My order was incorrect, as well. My burger had cheese on it. The burgers were very put together VERY sloppy! The patties were crooked, the buns were compressed, and the lettuce was limp and DID NOT look fresh. The food looked like it had literally been thrown together! The crew, including the manager, on that shift CLEARLY do NOT care about the quality of the food they sell to customers NOR the service they provided. I paid nearly twenty dollars for these two «meals». For that amount of money, I could have gone to another restaurant and gotten a very good meal and I would have, had I had the time that day.
Needless to say, I will NOT be back to that Carl’s Jr. or any other Carl’s Jr. in South Bay. The workers at most fast food restaurants in the South Bay area do NOT have any pride in the service they provided or the food they prepare and serve. There are exceptions, of course and other reviews that I have submitted have pointed out the South Bay fast food restaurants that do have good service/​food. This one clearly is one of the ones to clearly avoid!

I just want to say that the crew working on April 15^th at 7:00 pm did the best job that they could do, being that it was busy and a couple of rude customers with coupons were giving them a hard time. The manager in front handled every single situation very professionally, and showed outstanding leadership and never slacked one bit. Thank you guys !

They have some real good deals with coupons for 2 for $ 3 on the Famous star.
Their breakfast menu and coupon specials for breakfast are some of the best fill up for the price.

This location is wrong, they are directly on the corner of Moss st and 3^rd avenue.

The guacamole bacon six dollar burger is the bomb! I think Carl’s Jr. is better than other fast food places because they actually give you big portions. Their burgers actually look like the ones they advertise. Another plus is that they always have coupons which you allow you to get either a free sandwich, fries, or drink. That keeps me coming in.

Best breakfast biscuit sandwich ever!!! Jack and Mc biscuit has nothing on this one and its cheaper without a coupon!!!

I am addicted to The $ 6.00 Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Make it large & a Dr. Pepper w/​no ice. It just hits the spot, seriously. Heart attack, shmart attack, it’s really good. And onion rings in the middle? WHAT? I used to wake up at 1am, drive down there and get a $ 6.00 Western Bacon Cheeseburger, eat it, then go right back to sleep. Hmmmmmm burger… (Homer Simpson voice).

Just don’t make ‘em like they used to
I liked this place a lot more when I was younger. I would order the Western Bacon Cheeseburger combo, a meal that tasted good and had flavor. The two times that I have been to CJ’s in the past year have been really disappointing: flavorless and dehydrated bread with plain meat resting inside, nothing that wants to bring you back.
What makes the situation worse, is that I used to like the chocolate or strawberry milkshakes when they were larger and cost less; in recent years, the milkshakes have been reduced drastically in size and cost more under the specious promotion that the product is better because it is handspun. What a joke. For the novelty factor, try the Cap’n Crunch shake: tastes like your childhood breakfast zipped around in ice cream and served as a liquid dessert.
If you want a real milkshake with great flavor and price, go across the street to Rally’s.
I’m afraid that CJ’s has provided better days. By the way, if you need it, this place is open 24 hours.
