I enjoy the concept of Chipotle however the meals are over priced. When asked to be explained in depth what each type of dish (burrito, sale) is such as the typical ingredients the employees appear offended. I haven’t been back.

We come here most Sundays after church and love it, when my husband was on deployment we came here EVERY Sunday for 7 months straight. It was something my kids looked forward to, gave me a break from cooking, and provided a happy family Sunday tradition. The Sunday morning crew is great, friendly, and the food is delicious and healthy! We always order the same thing every time we come and the staff will see us get out of the van in the parking lot and there are times when I have walked in and our order is pretty much complete. How’s that for awesome service?! Today the staff even went above and beyond and took care of one of our meals today. That was truly special and appreciative.

I’ve always loved Chipotle and was so happy when this location in Chula Vista opened a couple years ago. I didn’t have to drive to Plaza bonita to get my chipotle fix anymore! It does tend to get busy during the dinner time, but the line moves fairly quickly and I’ve never encountered any bad services from the employees. There was one employee working there last night and even though there was a line out the door, he always had a smile on his face and was very friendly to everybody.
The reason why I’m only giving it 3 stars instead of 4 is because their portions always seem smaller compared to other Chipotle location, and when I came in last night to get a bowl, there weren’t any shredded cheese! The employee fixing up my bowl said that it would take 5 minutes to grate the cheese, but I just decided to skip it because I didn’t want to hold up the line. But seriously, what kind of sad Chipotle runs out of cheese? :(

Quick easy and always pretty tasty. It’s by no means the best Mexican food around but I would rather eat here than many fast food places.
My kids like the kids tacos and they always give them an extra tortilla which is really nice.
Food was fresh and service was quick and friendly.

Normally I have a great experience at this location – I don’t know what happened this evening. The lady serving my food was accommodating and friendly, the lady ringing my order not so much.
After taking my money, she leaves the counter, and me to pack my own food into a bag. What the hell has happened to your customer service Chipotle? Has the E. Coli scare tainted your performance as well? You’re lucky I was even willing to gamble with my health this evening… never coming back to this location
P. s. you have to ask the cashier for a fork (no longer available next to the drink dispenser) and their other cutlery was disgusting – wet from some liquid.
This chain is falling apart.

I don’t know what changed, but the amount of food given now is disappointing. I always order a salad, a very simple salad of just lettuce, black beans, chicken, and cheese.
It’s like they just put the minimal amount of lettuce to just barely cover the bottom of the bowl. I actually get a decent amount of the beans. The amount of meat they give you is about half of what it used to be and if I ask for more, they tell me they’d have to charge me for it. The cheese, it’s like they give you whatever they can grab with just the tips of their fingers and sprinkle it on top. It’s just ridiculous.
I’m a big fan of Chiptole and I will continue to eat there occasionally, it’s just so disappointing and frustrating that the last several times I’ve been to this Chiptole that I no longer feel like I’m getting my money’s worth of food.

Very disappointing — seems like the Quality of the food has gone way down. I almost choked on the core of a head of romaine — twice. The fajita veggies were not good either.

I loooove Chipotle. This Chipotle has a few issues, but overall, it’s a good Chipotle.
They sometimes run out of chicken. They’re usually nice about it though and give you a free drink while you wait. A few of the girls rush through while loading everything up. I often have to shout or repeat myself because they’re too busy trying to move fast to really listen. I appreciate that they want to move the line along though, just maybe take it down a notch :) They have some nice indoor and outdoor seating. The bathrooms have a code on them, which is kinda annoying (the code comes on your receipt. yeah, the receipt you just threw away!)

In comparison to when I first had chipotle a few months back– with tonights food all I can say is this place went down hill QUICK. Literally half a scoop of meat, along with everything else. I had to throw out half of each bite of meat because it was either hard gristle or fat. I mean I know this isn’t an A+ food place– but come on. You raised your prices, cut your portions in half– and what you do give is crap!
I think this place is going out as fast as it came in. Def won’t waste my $$ here again

First time at a Chipotle = last time at a Chipotle!
My god how horrible can one make Mexican food.
After years of hearing how good chipotle was I decided to grab a carnitas burrito but they we’re out of pork??? I then ordered their barbacoa… out of sour cream also. Do these people think all thay you need to make Mexican food is a few pounds of cumin in everything they make? Man what a horrid taste. Had to toss the burrito after a few bites. Worst tasting salsa ever hands down! I now read chipotle has a shortage or pork because they only use ones raised in human like conditions… how freaking rediculios, we kill and eat the animals, raise them, kill them, eat them. Enough of this politically correct bull shit!

I never write negative reviews. I usually understand that not every day can be a good one. I feel bad for Chipotle’s reputation. They’re food is still good but this place is lonely for a reason. The
Worst amounts served I’ve ever seen. If you can go to another one, do yourself a favor and avoid this location. Their portions are for the children’s menu. My bowl was half empty, I was so upset. I asked for a little more they said I had to pay for double. It wasn’t even a single served to begin with.

Good food, only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because I usually get larger portions at every other chipotle I visit. Service was quick and efficient, I’ll be going here again because of it too.
I like that they give 50% proceeds to fundraising if you or your organization set it up in advance. Great sense of community!

My man and I won’t be back here unless we are starving to death… Gon just drive to bonita mall to get chipotle, it’s worth it.

To whom that cuts all the steaks. My pieces were huge and hard to chew… Also i had more than 5 pieces that were still uncut from each other. Very annoying for the customer.
To the manager or who ever thats in charge, I never had any problem with the one located in bonita, somehow it’s always this location that my man and I have problems with. Please check your food before serving to the customers.

I love Chipotle. I usually go to the one in Plaza Bonita because it’s less than a mile from where I live, but I came here because it was already after 9:00pm and this location is the only one close to us that is open until 10:00pm.
I ordered a chicken burrito with guac! YUM, WHO DOESN’T LOVE GUAC?! PSA: Guac is extra; sometimes it’s worth it, sometimes it’s not. Just depends what you like or what you’re feelin’.
I always order extra corn because their corn salsa is to die for! Also, get a side of their salad dressing and use as a sauce to put on your burrito before every bite. It’s a type of vinaigrette and it’s also delicious.
After our first couple bites, my boyfriend asked, «Does this burrito taste better than the our usual Plaza Bonita burritos?» The answer to that was, yes, it did taste better. It tasted like the chicken was better seasoned.
Will I drive out here to get a better burrito? No, but at least I know where to great a great one if I ever feel like making the drive.

I’ve had very good experiences here. Line, even if long, moves quickly and the employees are friendly and efficient. I frequently see Them filling each of the dishes, rarely are they below ½ full. Everything always tastes on point… my favorite is either the salad or the bowl, usually with chicken.

We looooooooove chipotle… This one is located in a busy location. Service is quick and helpful. –1 star though, Bc I ordered a few things to take home. And my burrito was mixed up with someone else’s order (boooo!). Otherwise, chipotle is one of our favorite «fast food» places to go to. A great place to customize your food full of what you like (think of subway style ordering). Ingredients taste fresh. I always leave feeling full, but not stuffed… Anyways Here’s what i order:
(Bowl) — chicken– bell peppers– ½ white ½ brown rice– fresh salsa– corn salsa– sour cream– cheese– extra lettuce…
This ends up being a hefty size bowl (or a fat burrito if you want it in a tortilla)… Yummy with their chips (taste the hint of lime!)
