Went in here yesterday just to check it out. Right away I was greeted by Albert.(I think he’s the store owner.) He was very helpful and answered all questions I had. Very nice and very polite. Other gun store employees seem cocky with their knowledge of guns but not Albert. I walked out with a Glock 22(well walked out with the receipt, because we have to wait 10 days in California hehe). If you check this place out, Albert will sure be able to help you out. Thanks Albert!

Came in to look and ask questions. Albert was laid back, informative and a nice dude. Will definitely be back.

I’m trying to downsize my collection, so I decided to sell a few guns. The shop owner inspected the firearms and priced them accordingly. It only took a couple of weeks for one rifle to sell. Low commission charge and great customer service. I just walked out with cash money. This was my first consignment sale and it was super easy. If you need to sell or transfer a firearm, try CV Gun Store.

The only plus for this shop is that they charge a $ 30 fee for out of state transfers which is by far the cheapest in San Diego. All firearms must be CA Compliant upon delivery so firearms can not be made CA Compliant after delivery & before starting DROS. At the moment there is now a small inventory of firearms, but are pricey. The prices of the firearms on consignment seem to be the same as if buying new. Everything else are rather pricey as well.

This guy is awesome! He only charges $ 30 to do a out of state transfer. Not like all the other crooks charging $ 50 to $ 150

Ok, so now they have guns, a few. They have ammo boxes(milsurp) way cheaper than in the past. They are still hurting for biz however. His prices are still high. I understand the now factor. I’ve needed a couple items over the years and have been willing to pay the extra to have it NOW. He’s a former Marine and a struggling business owner. I have a new level of understanding. His CC machine was screwed up last time had to get cash from the 99cent store next door. Not doing that again. $ 5 service charge.

I’ve been shopping at Chula Vista Gun Store for over 20 years and have always been treated courteously and fairly. If I can’t find what I’m looking for, they either make an effort to find it for me or they point me in the right direction, even on occasions referring me to their competitors. The salesperson, who might be the owner because he’s always there, is very knowledgeable when it comes to firearms. Last time I stopped by, about a week ago, I found out that they are in the process of getting their FFL back and will be selling firearms in the very near future; a plus for all of us that live in the southbay.

I needed some ammunition for a short film I was doing and I remembered there was a gun shop on Broadway. I was bummed out after I found out they stopped selling handguns and rifles a while back. Anyway, I came in and I ended up buying a box of .22 ammunition for about $ 3.50. I got what I wanted and it was inexpensive. I did end up talking to one of the employees for a while about the reason for wanting to buy the least expensive box of ammunition and it lead to another conversation about films and directors. So, I can say the service is great and the person who helped me knew about films so it was a pleasant visit. I hope I can come back soon.

Well I believe in this economy people would want to serve the customer with info, options, etc. NOTTHISPLACE. First off I walk in and it’s empty and the owner/employee is in the back on his cell phone BSing with a buddy cussin the meanwhile, I wasnt offended but in a place of business professionalism counts. To his credit he hung up and ask what I needed, at this point his responses were so curt(short) that I had the impression I was wasting his time like he had a hot date waiting for him. I even said, «hold up Im talking business here», as he was turning away from me to go back to his office. This was like pulling teeth trying to get information about options for the guns, yes guns, I have(lasers, sites, etc.). Well he just lost potencially two to three sales from his indifferent attitude towards me. Want firearms and(some) accessories go to ROYALLOAN, thats where I purchased a handgun and shotgun, off of El Cajon Blvd they know how to do business and give information with a smile!!!
