Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

First off this location is inside Ralphs which has no signage so it can be hard to find if you are looking for a store. The drinks were good like any other location but there were not many items to buy such as powders, coffee, tea, and cups.

Not much to say. Decent fraps at a decent price. Can’t say it’d ever be my go-​to, but it’d be alright in a pinch.

People need to understand a few things: First, this Coffee Bean is staffed with Ralphs employees, not Coffee Bean employees. Second, this location is rarely ever busy, so there is only one person ringing people up and making the drinks. Because of this, whenever there are no customers, the employees go off and help out in other departments around the store to keep busy, and return to the kiosk if called, which is why sometimes they have to call someone to go.

This coffee bean is horrible! No one is ever at the counter, I always have to ask someone to call them. Also they don’t have employees cover there lunch. Horrible!

Love Coffee Bean, especially the Ice Blended drinks. So when I noticed a Coffee Bean inside Ralph’s I said lets do this! Walk in and no one around. Ok. Two females teens are sitting at one of the guest tables and one gets up to ‘greet’ me with a scowl. I order my drink, she asks the mandatory, minimum ally need words to complete the order and I walk out. Drink seems typical… translation — Yumbo — so I, am happy. After I finish the drink 30 minutes later, no Bueno… stomach feels horrible. The drink caused it… what was it — milk left out, equipment not clean, my mind races– Ah, forget that, I have stomach cramps. I’m over it now… days later but the memory stays forever. Note to self — OnLY buy CB from stand alone stores!

I always have to search for someone to make my drink. This location is inside Ralph’s and they are no where to be found. The ice blended drinks are great and I enjoy the hazelnut. I wish they could staff it better.

This location is located inside the Ralphs and is convenient for those in the area. Parking is usually readily available near the entrance where the CBTL is located. I’ve only ever dealt with two different baristas, both females in their mid 20s. One of them is friendly, helpful, and provides good overall service. The first time I saw the other, I thought she was just having a bad day with her sighs, depressed tone of voice, and somber look. But the second and third encounter with her were the same. Her demeanor presents itself as if she is being burdened to make a drink. I’ve tried to be friendly and see if I can make her smile, and she responds to any questions I ask, but her look doesn’t change. To her credit though, she seems to be quicker at preparing the drinks than the other lady and they have come out with the same quality.
In the end, as long as my drink is given to me the correct way, I can deal with the rest.

Friendly baristas and their service is quick enough.
Located inside of Ralph’s grocery store, their drinks are pretty consistent with any other coffee bean location.
We get their hazelnut iced blended drink, and a tuxedo, or black & white iced blended drink (half white chocolate, half mocha)… These drinks have a very smooth taste. Can barely taste the coffee extract.
I feel like their coffee drinks are not that strong (compared to Starbucks), so this place is for you if you are looking for a milder tasting coffee drink…
