I just ordered the shrimp fried rice and when I came home it was still hot with ample amount of shrimp the taste was great. Looks like I just found my favorite Chinese restaurant in Chula Vista.

Good place they make it fresh so its not sitting there for days the orange chicken is GOOD! its those kind of places you don’t know about till you walk by or someone tells you about it.

Overpriced for cafeteria microwavable Chinese food. You can get one entrée with rice for $ 6 but if you want chow mein too its an additional $ 6.50. Everything is heated to order but it’s so hot you can’t eat it without burning your mouth. I paid $ 9.23 for vegetable egg rolls, sweet n sour chicken with the sweet n sour served on the side, not even tossed in a pan with the chicken and a skimpy unflavored scoop of «fried rice»! When I tried ordering pork dumplings the girl told me it would take 15 minutes. I’m shocked and wish the old food court would return, fast food should be fast and less expensive then one of the restaurants around here.

My favorite spot for fresh cooked made to order Chinese food! My personal favorite is the Orange Chicken… The staff and cook are very friendly. If you are at Chula Vista mall you must try it!

Golden Unique is definitely a hidden gem in South Bay. Located inside the now quite and nearly abandoned food court of the Chula Vista mall, this place offers one of the best Chinese take-​outs in town. My boyfriend suggested his «usual» which was orange chicken, chowmein and crunchy green broccoli. The orange chicken had a good amount of chicken and not heavy on the breading with its crunchy outer texture glazed in a sweet and slightly tangy sauce. It was a perfect compliment to the chowmein cooked al dente! Everything is made to order and is delivered to your table (unless you order to-​go). We will be coming back soon…

We were in the Broadway shopping center and went to the food court up stairs. We decided on China Unique and were not displeased. They make all the food as you order and it arrives pipping hot. There is nothing sitting under heat lamps. The veggies are crunchy not limp and discolored like other well known Chinese restaurants. This place is fantastic! The girl behind the counter is super nice, awesome customer service. This is our go to place for Chinese in Chula Vista!
