I’m glad that Radio Shack it is still around. They have better customer service than the Big Electronic stores. I called in to ask for coax cable that best buy was trying to sell it to me for $ 21.99. I thought it was ridiculous to pay that much money for a 6ft cable. So Radio Shack had it for $ 6.99. As soon as i walked in i was greeted nicely and i was offered help. I noticed that RadioShack was concentrating in carrying cell phone accessories and that they were now an authorize dealer of Sprint and Boost mobile. I still find Radio Shack useful and i will definitely check with them before going to the Big Stores.

This store is ridiculous. First you walk in and there is(what looks like the manager sitting in a lawn chair in the corner of the store watching tv, then an associate that we had to walk passed to get to the register(which didn’t even address us by the way), and finally the guy at the register that just looked at us as we walked up. My husband explained that we had misplaced the receipt and realized that it was passed the return date but if they could make an exception. The guy behind the register replied with the most sarcastically rude tone saying«nope! See here, it’s passed the return date. Nope!» My husband said that he knew but we just don’t want it because the product failed to work and we would be fine with store credit. The salesman said«nope we can’t do that. We can’t take back the product,» and pushed the box back across the counter. Horrible customer service and not surprised that this chain is going down.

Wow this place is awesome so I came here to try and fix my Xbox controller as soon as I walked in Rico came up and greeted me and asked if he could help me I told him what I needed and he brought me right to the section and showed me the choices I had and the benefits of each one! Once I decided he rang me up super fast! The manager Sam is a good guy as well he asked how I was and had a conversation with me all while I was checking out he also recommended me to get some batteries for a great deal! Overall really awesome experience at a radio shack! Great Customer Service!

I recently tried to return an item that had never even been opened! The salesman was sarcastic and condescending. Another salesman tried to interrupt my conversation with the person helping me with his own ideas(all bad; all wrong) about how to handle the situation. It was a thoroughly rotten experience and I will never shop at any Radio Shack again! No wonder this chain is having so much trouble!

I came in because I was having issues with a phone I purchased a year ago. I didn’t want to buy a new one but thought my phone was beyond saving. However, after at least two hours of patient persistence on the part of Freddie(manager?) and David, I walked out with my old phone… with contacts and messages intact. Thank you for your diligence!

I guess you get better service if you buying a phone. Three guys working and one walked right by me to help someone that was interested in a phone. I guess«contracts» are more valuable. I doubt the guy who didn’t buy a phone will be posting on Unilocal
