I order a 6 shot iced white mocha, didnt taste or look like one. I Always order mine like that frequently. Disappointed.

We were shopping at the Chula Vista mall and hubby wanted to go to Starbucks to get some drinks since he is a member of Starbucks. When we walked in, it wasn’t too crowded until after we ordered our drinks. I decided on a caramel brûlée latte hot. You can also get it cold but I wanted something warm. It was cold outside. Hubby gets a hot chocolate and my daughter wanted a cake pop. There was only one flavor which was chocolate peppermint. Chocolate was the cake part while peppermint and white chocolate was combined on the outside. My daughter loved it. As for my drink, it was so good. I can taste the caramel and brûlée flavor. I let it sit for a few minutes cause I didn’t want to burn my mouth. It completely warmed me up. Texture and flavor was on point. This is my favorite go to flavor now for the winter. Yum! This Starbucks was fairly small and was limited in seating inside but the people working there were really nice and welcomed us as we walked in. There’s seating outside but we opted to sit inside since it was cold out. I am definitely a fan of Starbucks.

Great place to grab a coffee and study. Has the right space, tables and the ambiance. I would recommend this to any person who wants to work or study while sipping a good coffee. It does get a bit chilly so carry some extra layering of clothes.

This is my GO-TO Starbucks! I’ve been working at the Macy’s next door for about a year now and I’ve been going to this Starbucks since then. I’ve met almost all of the staff and there isn’t ONE that isn’t absolutely WONDERFUL!!! So, I’d like to take the time to write about my experience with all of them… Ron is a sweet, young man. He’s always chipper and I’ve noticed that he ALWAYS greets his customers. And I mean ALWAYS!!! I am soooo big on Customer Service(apparently, since I work retail), and he definitely displays it well with his friendly smile and greetings. Victor is absolutely awesome! While I’m waiting for him to make my coffee, he’ll have small talk(not too much to hinder his work) with me. I always appreciate staff that try to get to know their customers. Every time I come in, he remembers my face. Maybe not quite my name yet, but he definitely remembers my face! Rosie is SUCH a sweetheart! I commented on her gorgeous hair one time and she made small talk with me about it. She’s quick with making my drinks and always tells me to have a great day! She also has the most warming smile! She has a very vast knowledge of the products. She’s great at recommending things. Some things I’ve liked, others I haven’t. But I’m always up to trying new things and I’m glad that she offered! Esmee is super nice! I see how hard she works behind the counter, refilling cups and stuff like that. She also takes the time to greet other customers that come in. Katya is one of the quieter associates I met, but she still greets me every time I come in and always makes sure to smile. Marie is one that I don’t see too often, but when I have encountered her, she was always pleasant. Angie is also such a sweetheart! I love her laugh! And she gets along well with her Co workers and always treats her customers well. Amanda is one I’m VERY impressed with. She ALWAYS knows what I’m going to order! Once she sees me walk in the door, she grabs my VENTI cup and starts writing on it. Once I approach the counter, she gives me my total and I’m all set to go. I LOVE it when people know what my order is, even though on some days I’d like to order something different. When I walk into this store in particular and the cashier knows my order(and I intended to order something different), I totally let it go. I’ll take whatever it is that the cashier rings me up for. That’s how much I love and appreciate the staff at this Starbucks. Angie is also very knowledgeable about her products. She was the first person to ever tell me that I could get refills on my Iced Coffees. I was stoked!!! Last, but certainly not least, there is Haley! She is my favorite because I can identify with her the most. She is always so friendly!!! I love her! Every single time I’ve walked through those doors, she greets me as if I hadn’t seen her in forever. It’s ALWAYS nice to feel welcomed and loved and cared for. That is how she makes me feel. That is how the entire staff at this Starbucks makes me feel! To top things off, I’ve NEVER had a bad experience with my coffee — even the ones that the associates would recommend I try. That makes my experience all the better! Not to mention, their store has NEVER been filthy. I’ve gone into several Starbucks whose bar was sticky or wet. Theirs is always clean. And that little area where they hold the milk and sugars is always clean as well. I never see these associates just standing around. They are all fast-moving! I love it! It shows that they are hard-working! Yes, you’ll hear them talking to one another or laughing, but in all honestly, I love that! It shows what a fun environment they work in. They are still paying attention to their customers and taking care of their customers’ needs first, so laughing and/or talking doesn’t affect me one bit! I am such a huge Starbucks drinker. I always have to have my morning coffee and occasionally I’ll have one in the afternoon. I live closer to the Starbucks near Southwestern College, but I choose to go to this one because of the EXCELLENT customer service I receive! Thanks Starbucks Staff at this location! You’ve earned a customer for life!!!

I came in last night with my friend and I immediately felt welcome by the cashier. After I ordered, a gentlemen by the name of Ron was making me and other costumers laugh he was very energetic and happy, I will return after the great service.

Edit: so last night I go into this Starbucks and it seems as if they were closing. The bathroom was blocked from customers to enter. The pastries were all pushed to a corner and a robust barista appeared to be cleaning the open fridge in front. Since a person opened the door for me as they were leaving I wasn’t sure if the door might have been locked so I asked the barista if they were. Without even turning to look at my face she said… «If we were closing, the door would be locked.» I was shocked! I responded«wow!» turned and walked out the door. Just confirmed what a horrible Starbucks this is. This is THE worst Starbucks I have ever been to and I have been to many. My main issue is the staff. They are very unfriendly. I have been coming here for years and they can’t even fake a smile when a customer comes through the door. The last 3 times I have gone, one of the employee runs off to the back for minutes at a time. One time it was the barista making the drinks and the one taking orders didn’t seem to help while she disappeared for about 5 minutes. Everyone waiting for their drinks started looking around wondering where she went. Another time, the guy taking the orders went to the back and had a line waiting for him to return. He came back casually and didn’t say a word to the person who was waiting for him. not even«thank you for waiting.» Nothing. I also saw the same employees roll their eyes when a girl asked for ice water. The only amiable person there is a very young guy named Ron. He would get 5 stars. The rest are ogres that hate their job.

Most Starbucks are the same. The main things that separates them are cleanliness and service. This one failed at both. The tables were filthy. Crumbs, straw wrappers, and water everywhere. I didn’t even want to stand near them. The girl that took my order was Christine. She didn’t even say«hi» to me. I just stood there looking right at her, not the menu, HER. I wanted to see if she’d greet me. Did she? Nope. She just looked at me as if i was some sort of idiot. That took a good awkward 5 seconds. I finally said«hi» and she said«are you ready?». Bitch what do you think I’m standing here for. Christine, learn to smile. Ordered my drink. Got it. Left. The cream was not as good as other Starbucks’. It tasted/felt like a mix between the wonderful thick Starbucks cream and Reddi Whip. I will not be returning. I’d rather go to the one across the street.

The staff are nice and knowledgeable, and they’ve never messed up my drinks. The internet is decent and the location has both outdoor and indoor seating. There’s an electric vehicle charger in the parking lot for those of you who have electric cars.

Me and my husband just love the whole crew at this h street and broadway location. We have been going there for years and they always know how to make our drinks. The night time supervisor Mark is the nicest and sweetest guy a person can ever meet. He always has a smile for you no matter how busy they mat get. Love!!! Love!!! Love!!! this location! Best service in the world!!!

Sorry, I am not a regular or daily customer of this capitalism business that thrives on outrageous profit with every item sold. I am disappointed with the idea of the black membership card going away and being replaced by a ‘rewards’ card. I discovered the ‘rewards’ card does not track every purchase made regardless of form of payment much like the ‘old’ membership card did. The only way to track purchases and get points for buying is if you pay with the card, money loaded or reloaded on the card. Sad to see, that apparently it is no longer cool to pay with cash and expect a benefit. The other disappointment I have is should you, the sorry non regular/non daily/don’t know your name because you don’t shop here often enough customer be in need of change for a 10 or 20 dollar bill after buying an item and forgetting for 10 seconds you need change … you are no longer a customer and are inconvenienced into having to wait for the next ‘cash’ paying customer to pay in order for the clerk to access the cash drawer. Apparently-the ‘no sale’ button is not in existence on the register or they have bias/prejudice against the non daily person-customer. No special exception to the rule because I do not shop often enough. I phoned the toll free number for Starbucks & the person I spoke with stated that, «yes, it is standard procedure(a rule) that the clerk not open the cash drawer to make change even though you may of just made a recent purchase». SOMUCHFORGOODCUSTOMERSERVICE/or a pleasant shopping experience at Starbucks.
