Chinese food delivery in Sayler Park! Yay we ordered the teriyaki chicken w/fried rice and chow mei fun. The portions were very large. The price was ok. The delivery was under 45 minutes. The mei fun was delicious.

Food is not great but expectations are low. It’s Chinese delivery. Not made fresh at all. That’s typical… However the worst thing from a restaurant I ever experienced happened tonight. I got someone else’s order which is not bad. I called they brought me a new one gave the old one back(which they asked if I ate out of it first and asked me to package back up) not too weird but a first. Now the really weird part… Get called 2 hours later and asked if I gave the food back. Not once but three times! The manager even said are you sure??? Is he that concerned to call and accuse a customer of lying.

I love the food here. I come back about once a week. I have never tried delivery, and I never phone in the order. I just walk in, place my order face-to-face, and leave with my food in 10 minutes. I live close enough that the food is still hot when I get home.

Never again. Tried to call in an order. Whoever answered the phone was rude and cussing. I hung up when he «repeated» my order«General Tso Combination or 2 Chicken Fried Rice, what is it?! What the H@ll!?» We will not be ordering from them again.

I love this place because they deliver to us. We have never had any issues with the food but it’s pretty much the same as Dragon city(taste wise). The people are nicer on the phone and the food is always on time.

Great place to get an ice cream cake. Soft serve is meh, and burgers are basic. Service is hit or miss.

Great place. Was shopping at our local Kroger and when we exited we received a flyer for chopstick house. To our surprise they delivered! Few weeks went by and we decided to have delivery on a Friday night. Prices were reasonable, large portions, only 30 min delivery. Very impressed. Will order again, perfect night in.

Had a craving for house friend rice so I decided to try the new spot on the west side. Although the interior is clean and spacious for Chinese place, the staff hardly speak English.(which I guess is expected). When it comes to the food, I found the rib tips to be too tough and oily. The fried rice had whole shrimp and nicely cut peeves of chicken. Overall the food was okay. The prices do not match the quality of food though.

My first and only reason for visiting Chopstick House was because they had a «Grand Opening» banner up and I’d been disappointed to find Thai Taste closed unexpectedly and went to find something new. Of course, now I see reviews on here from 13 months ago, so maybe its time they take down the«Grand Opening» banner. I got the chicken curry with onions, spring rolls, and hot & sour soup. The staff were nice, the kitchen seemed pretty clean as chinese restaurants go. And I didn’t observe ANY kitchen hygiene mistakes while I was there. The seating area was spotless, but I also noticed no one was dining in. The hot & sour soup was lacking over all. No wood ear mushrooms, only canned button mushrooms, a very thin broth, half the veggies most places put in, no egg, overly soggy tofu, and not enough hot or sour to live up to its name. The spring rolls were bland but edible and slightly greasy in between the layers of the wrapper which indicates either the oil wasn’t hot enough or had started to break down. Given that most chinese takeouts will use the oil until its broken down into industrial sludge rather than pay for fresh oil, I’ll go with that as the likely cause. And the chicken curry was again, bland and underwhelming. The vegetables were overcooked to the point that some were mushy. This means they left it sit in the wok without stirring too long. The veggies at the bottom sit in the water and turn to mush rather than being steamed. The chicken was cooked properly and was juicy. And the sauce did have a tinge of curry flavor to it, but not much else. No garlic, no heat, no salt, nothing to really give it much flavor. After three complete whiffs, I won’t be going back. There’s nothing to tell me that a second trip will be any better than the first. And the first didn’t even exceed the quality of hospital food. I’ll save $ 5 and get a can of LaChoy chow mein first.

Ordered for the first time. They forgot part of the order and then never delivered the missing pork dish

I placed a delivery order and was totally disappointed. First, the egg rolls were totally greasy. Like they poured grease over the egg rolls greasy. Yuck! None of the food was edible and had an old grease taste to it. I would not recommend and do not waste money like we did. We basically threw out the food and went out to get something else.

Where to begin with this place? The lock on the men’s bathroom doesn’t work — it’s not a multi-user WC. Not a huge deal, I’ll just aim with my back to the door and hope for the best. I decided to be courteous and lift the seat(I hate sprinkles on the seat as do all men, I’m sure), it required the strength of 10,000 Tarzans. While doing what I had to do I noticed that had I needed to take a seat I would have the option of using a partially used roll of TP on the back of the toilet or on top of the TP dispenser. Hmmmmm. Right before I washed up I realized that the paper towel was also on top of the paper towel dispenser, whew, just in time to unroll some so I don’t water log the roll while grabbing a few sheets like the guy before me did. I wasn’t thrilled with the bathroom. The food, however, is exactly as you would expect. None in my party complained any time we’ve eaten there. It tasted the same as any other Chinese joint and the portions were huge, dare I say Herculean. We didn’t get any hardware in our order, but we’ve never ordered their eggrolls. So we’ll see what the future holds. The wait staff is good and seem to pay attention to their tables. They’re courteous and timely and do their jobs well. We’ve gotten a few bonuses with our meals and that’s a nice gesture, the kids especially like it. We’ll eat here again, I’m sure. If you’re looking for a decent place that serves you heaping pile of food at a good price, check this place out.

EGGROLLSURPRISE? A MOUTHFULLOFMETAL. WATCHOUT!!! I was SOEXCITED to try this new restaurant. It seemed clean and the food had a good taste. I ordered about $ 15 of food and received the free eggroll with coupon(free eggroll with $ 10 order). After remarking to my friend how much better this Chinese food was than the place I usually go, I had an awful. AWFUL surprise. We cut the eggroll in half to split it. I dipped mine in soy sauce and took a big bite. Before chewing(THANKGOD) something VERYHEAVY fell out of my bite and in to my mouth. I spit it out and to my surprise — a LARGE nut and bolt!!! Unbelievable. I would add the photo but Unilocal does not allow that. About 1″ long, the nut was screwed on to a broken bolt and had been deep friend INSIDE of my eggroll. After spitting out the eggroll, I continued to taste metal in my mouth all night long. I would assume that was from the oil on the metal that was fried in to the food. Of course, I threw out the eggroll. So, here is the crazy part. We decided to call the restaurant. We were told that there wasn’t a manager and then that there was but that we couldn’t talk to her. It turns out that she doesn’t understand English. That is OK, but who can help me? The phone was given to an English speaking delivery guy who listened to my woe’s. The restaurant was unwilling to issue a refund. They did take my address and after almost 2 hours there was a delivery person at the door. We told him that we didn’t order anything and he was confused and left. SO — apparently they were sending free food(I think) as a kind gesture but didn’t tell their delivery guy? He left and took the food with him. I have never experienced anything like this, ever, and the fact that they were not willing to offer a refund and stated that I should ‘do whatever I feel I need to do’(including this review and the possibility that I might report them to the board of health). Unbelievable.
