Great service from the start, very friendly staff and environment. Great brunch food for a great price as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for good brunch food that won’t hurt your wallet

Change up your Bob Evans routine and hit up Half Day Café. My wife and I enjoyed every bite and the coffee is pretty great too. Healthy options that’ll leave you saying you’ll be back there soon. Always a good option for a Saturday morning.

This place is a favorite for lunch time at work! I love the freshness of the ingredients and the different types of food they provide! I have had wraps, pulled pork, and sandwiches! I always refer people from work to join me during the week. The coffee is also local from the Blue Ash area i believe and it is hard to only have 1 cup no matter the time:) The staff is friendly and it has the small town feel like a clean and tidy diner. This is for sure one of my new favorite lunch spots!

Half Day Café is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places in town. Located in Wyoming, Half Day offers many breakfast favorites, coffee drinks, and sandwiches. The friendly staff creates a welcoming environment while the owner circulates through the dining room talking with customers and checking on the service. My family and I have been coming here for years. The menu starts off with all the breakfast favorites such as french toast, pancakes, and omelettes. They also add in their own creations such as the Skillet Scramble, Egg Strata, and Burrito Con Carnitas. You can wash down your meal with such items as coffee drinks, hot chocolate, or the house-made fruit smoothies. Half Day also offers a lunch menu featuring soups, salads, and sandwiches for those looking for options other than breakfast items. For those in a hurry, there is a special take out window if you are looking for a coffee or quick snack item to go. The only downside is the parking. There is a small lot behind the restaurant but it is mainly just on-street parking. This really hasn’t been an issue since there are usually several spots close to the door. Half Day Café provides one of the best breakfast/brunch options in town. I would recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area.

Wow. The broiled grapefruit is soo good! I want to eat every grapefruit like this from now on. The sausage gravy & biscuits and eggs strata were also very delicious. I haven’t enjoyed a brunch this much in a very long time. Great hot tea selection as well. The wait staff is also super friendly and attentive, even though they’re busy. Can you tell I love this place? I’m visiting from FAtlanta, so I know my food, and Half Day Café is great!

Half Day Café is never less than fantastic! I usually go for the sweet potato pancakes, but was so happy to try the Cherry Cheesecake French toast special – delicious. The perfect mix of sweet and savory. All of the staff is always so friendly and accommodating as well.

Half Day Café is so underrated. One day I rode pass and it caught my eye, I’ve been hooked every since. You get good quality food here. Afterwards, me and tummy are satisfied smiling from ear to ear. Lol! The egg combination does the job every time.

Half Day Café is everything you want in a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. Friendly staff, cool décor, bright and vibrant, and most of all, excellent food. I can’t wait to come back and try something new. I came with my dad around noon on a Friday. It was busy to a point of almost being totally full, but we got seats right away at the bar. I love the scripture from Hebrews above the bar along the lines of «Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so some may have entertained angels.» Clearly their staff believe it, because everyone was so kind. Our server had a great attitude and never let my dad see the bottom of his coffee cup. We both ordered the lunch combo — white chicken chili and a salad for me, the same chili and a BLT for my dad. The chili was so delicious I finished it in probably less than 2 minutes. The salad was bright, fresh, and no-nonsense. The goal of getting a salad was to get something healthy, so I was happy to see no caloric surprises like cheese, croutons, etc. that often come on a salad but aren’t on the menu. Dad’s BLT looked fantastic. The bacon was thick-cut and there was a ton of it. The bread was fresh from a local bakery and looked delicious. We ordered the peppermint ice cream sandwiches to go, which are created from ingredients from 3 local businesses. Are you sensing a theme here? Half Day Café prides themselves on sourcing locally as much as possible, which I love. What I didn’t love — the parking situation. We drove around for about 10 minutes trying to find a place to park, while 4 «5-minutes only for take-out» spots sat empty. I understand keeping things convenient for carry out orders, but with parking so limited 4 spots for take-out constitutes about 40% of their parking. It almost made me feel like take-out customers are more valued than dine-in. Otherwise, a great experience. I will definitely be back to try their amazing-looking breakfast dishes!

Good. Had the quiche, or similar, «house special.» It was a little overcooked and brown on top. As Martha(Stewart) also says, «no one wants to eat brown eggs.» I’ll definitely give it another shot because it was a nice atmosphere.

Pros: special banana walnut pancakes were real, i.e., homemade batter. French toast w/mango butter — yum! Friendly wait staff! CLEAN/nice ambient atmosphere. Quiet! No music, so one could converse easily. Just very pleasant! Coffee could have been stronger tasting; was a little weak. Scrambled eggs were a bit dry. Bottom line: yes, we will return!!! 12÷5÷15 visit: coffee was better/stronger & not bitter. They still could brew a bit stronger!!! Cappuccino was way way weak… would not order again.

This place is adorable. Cute little café on the corner with parking on the main road and a small lot around back. Very fast, friendly service and food came out quickly and cooked to perfection. This isn’t in a location I am often but might have to go out of my way to swing by. The menu has a huge variety with a good mix of items – breakfast served all day + lunch after 11am I believe. Perfect place for a quick, inexpensive business meeting – quiet enough to hear each other but not too quiet to where it is uncomforable. Lots of coffee options and so many of the items looked great on the menu.

Not one to stomach the«free» hotel breakfast, a Google search lead us to Half Day Café. What a find, nestled amongst some tony looking houses and clean streets of suburban Cincinnati. The staff and food was top notch and nourished us for our long drive south!

Half Day Café is a great lunch stop during the work week! They serve breakfast until 2pm, even on week days, and ya’ll know breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. YUM! I ordered the egg strata based on recommendations from Unilocal, and it was amazing! First of all, it was not at all what I expected… It was at least twice as large as I thought it would be, and it was served in this cute individual baking dish. It was full of sausage, cheese, and extra fluffy eggs and I gobbled the whole thing up! The potatoes on the side were under-seasoned in my opinion, but overall the dish was very good! I would definitely order it again. My friend ordered the Thai chicken wrap, and he loved it, so maybe next time I will have to order lunch food. Service was pretty good. My water did run dry, but our service was overall pretty attentive and everyone working there was very friendly. Overall, a great local stop for breakfast or lunch!

The fact that I’ve now been to Half Day Café twice and dug into my food before taking a picture both times is a testament to how good this place is. The biscuits and gravy is quite possibly the best breakfast dish I’ve ever had but is more food than any one person should eat for breakfast. This little place fills up quickly so the earlier you get there the better. And beware, they’re closed on Sundays!

Half day café is a consistent local gem. Great food, best breakfast and impeccably clean restaurant. Highlights of this restaurant include: fresh baked muffins, sausage patties, all the made-from-scratch pancake varieties(mango butter rum, sweet potato pancake pie are the standouts) make this a far cry above even the better breakfast chains. Mouth watering yet? Love the service that includes carry out when I’m on the run. Only warning is they require your entire party be present for seating because of the smaller size of the café. Enjoy!

Hands down fresh delicious food, great atmosphere and great service. When you go, get their specials. I really enjoyed the mango butter pancake combo. It was such a great deal for the price. I even took some leftovers home.

Was driving up and down the little town of Wyoming and just praying there was somewhere to get a breakfast sandwich or bagel in a hurry and stumbled upon Half Day Café’s «Half Day Takeaway.» What a brilliant idea! Especially in a tiny town with not much to offer in a hurry. The menu has a full range of coffees, latte & espresso drinks. I opted for a regular coffee and a breakfast wrap. I chose the bacon, egg, and cheese for $ 3.99. It came out pipping hot and home made! It was«egg-actly» what I needed this morning. I also saw runners and even kids popping in for smoothies etc here. What a great alternative in case you can’t sit down and enjoy the restaurant. Also heads up the owners — the man working this morning(I didn’t catch his name, he said he had been working there for 5 years or so) was delightfully cheery and enthusiastic about his job and what you guys are doing there. Those kind of people are rare, and he deserves a high five and a shout out at a meeting or something for being friendly without even being prompted. Very impressed and will definitely be back!

Breakfast time is my absolute favorite and this place has nailed it. They have regulars and welcome new people as if they’ve always been around. Personally, the snickers latte is like dessert for breakfast and the breakfast burrito is delicious!

Great little breakfast place and a good variety of offerings including great mango rum pancakes. Space is a little limited so there may be a little bit of a wait.

I was out in the area for a training and figured I give the place a try. The location was lovely. There were giant windows around this corner building. It provided a ton a natural light as well as showcased the cleanliness of the restaurant. I went with the chicken and Brie quesadilla with the cranberry chutney. It was very good and priced reasonably($ 10). The services was polite and very attentive although admittedly it was slow while I visited. Bottom line, I hope I’m in the area again so o can go back.

Delicious breakfast! Tiny place that stays packed and today I figured out why. Had a party of 4 and only waited for 15 minutes so they move fairly quick. I tried the sweet potato pancake pie and it was just glorious. Perfect flavor and I couldn’t stop eating it. Found it interesting that they served the pancakes with syrup already on them but it was just enough. If you’re looking for brunch this is the place to go.

Breakfast is always served at the Half Day Café, where I know I can reliably get a soy latte, avocado wrap and a side of bacon. Being allergic to eggs, I normally skip breakfast places, but the menu at Half Day is varied enough that I don’t feel like I’m having to ‘make do’. And the latte was good. Parking is a little bit thin, but they do have a small lot around back. It’s near lots of the other shops and the library there in Wyoming, so if they weather is nice, you’re probably well served to park a ways away and walk.

Half Day Café was a 2-for-1 discovery because my visit there was also my first time in the charming town of Wyoming(described as «Mayberry-like» by my dining companion). It does feel a bit like walking into a television set of a charming café in a fictional small town – sunny yellow walls and small bunches of fresh flowers on every table. Service was very gracious and it was clear that many customers were regulars. Everything on the menu looked good so the waitress steered me toward the«one of everything» Egg combination dishes so I had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage links, home fries and an incredible sweet potato pancake – an unbelievable amount of delicious food for the price! I would order everything that I had again, and the sweet potato pancakes twice on Sunday(the waitress told me everyone that works there«is kind of addicted to them» in a confidential tone, when I ordered). I also got a huge, well-made cappuccino to top it all off. I loved this unpretentious neighborhood café with quality, fresh ingredients and friendly service and can’t wait to come back!
