Terrible food and atmosphere. Looks like the place Hasn’t been updated since the 70’s. Last time I went there was a dead fish floating in the back tank which none of the staff seemed to pay any attention to. Never felt comfortable eating there after seeing the fish can only imagine how the kitchen is. All the food I’ve tried seems it has been frozen at some point. There are other much better Chinese restaurants in Clifton.

The foods here are so much better than Tea&Bowl and the service is good. They have a section for the authentic foods on the menu unlike Tea&Bowl where they only cook you authentic foods when you speak Chinese to them. I will definitely come back here.

3 stars for dim sum this place is an okay quick fix for your cravings but don’t have high expectations. It’s just average and a little bland. Probably(at least it taste like) some items are frozen ready made dim sum food. But what they do pretty good here in flavors are their chicken feet and shark fin dumplings. Their turnip cake is a bit thicker and dense and has no dried shrimp flavor to it like it should. The shrimp rolls and BBQ pork bun isn’t as sweet like its suppose to be. So you may need to use a bit more soy sauce, hoisin, etc… To give more taste to the food. For authentic Chinese food menu, it’s pretty good! That is why its scoring itself a 4 star. They have live fish that they take out of the tank and cooked. Not many places do it here, but abundance in other city’s Chinatowns. The authentic menu is pack full of flavors and definitely won’t disappoint! They may have English barriers but just get pass the awkward stage and enjoy your food afterwards! That’s all to it! So I would def recommend to go here for dinner and their authentic menu.

I love traditional Americanized Chinese food. However, King Wok wasn’t all that great. The price is reasonable and the portions are fair, the taste just isn’t there, so I give it a rating of fair.

Standard par quality with a smaller portion size than I would expect. Not terrible, not great.

Restaurant really needs to be cleaned. Workers seem not to care about service. I had a complaint about the meat being cooked and didn’t eat it, they said thats how it comes. Im pretty sure its not good to eat raw meat. All the Chinese restaurants on the street are the same, not worth it.

King Wok… I’ve been hearing about this from a fellow cincinnattan for months. He would tell me, «BESTCHINESEFOODEVER!!» etc, etc. Im one of those that has to see to believe. And I did this weekend… YOOOOOO! The rice was on point, not overly soy-ey like other chinese restaurants. The Kung Pao chicken was well cooked. One thing is that I would’ve wanted a larger quantity of chicken and less veggies, but it did not take away from how delicious it was. Overall, good spot to eat and cant beat that lunch price!

Best Chinese this side of the Mississippi and this from someone who has spent 20 years in San Francisco and Seattle. Yummy

I ordered general tsos chicken and an order of crab rangoon. The crab rangoon did not come with any dipping sauce and the size was smaller than any others I’ve had. The general tsos was good. Hot and spicy. Price was very cheap and they deliver. Sadly I dont think Ill order from here again because of the crab rangoon. Its my favorite.

I came here just for the dim sum since it’s the only place in Clifton with it. I ordered the beef tendon and black peppered short ribs off of the dim sum menu. The honeydew bubble tea was not as good as Tea n’ Bowl’s. The short ribs definitely require a bit of strategy to bite off. One hand hold the rib and the other chopsticks. It is a bit expensive, and portions are good depending on what you get.

My boyfriend comes here all the time… raves about it being the best Chinese food he’s had. Being a regular, the servers even know his order. So I wanted to see what all the hype was about and he was right! Always stop by here when visiting. Their lunch deals are very affordable and leave you more than satisfied. I always get the Hot and Sour soup with the Beef and Broccoli and fried rice. Yum! Their egg rolls are surprisingly good too! Unlike other egg rolls that are mushy and greasy King Wok egg rolls are perfectly cooked and it doesn’t feel like you’re biting into grease. King Wok for the win!

Generous portions and great lunch specials! You can’t go wrong with the egg rolls, fried rice, and sesame chicken.

My wife likes to go here because they have a porridge dish she likes, but sometimes it is unavailable. The place is seems like a pretty typical Chinese place with pretty typical Chinese-American. It is a preferable place for my wife and I to go because it is convenient and they cook some dishes that are a bit of comfort food for my wife from Taiwan. I would put this place a slightly higher tier than your standard college neighborhood Chinese place.

King Wok has your standard Chinese food. Nothing is particularly good or bad. I’ve dined in once and had delivery once, both times rudely served. The staff seemed impatient and not willing to help when I had questions. I tried to use a gift certificate with my delivery, and the lady on the phone abruptly told me it could only be used for dine in and hung up. Uhh… Right, who does that? There’s better Chinese food around the area that doesn’t insult you.

Authentic! Three of us had dinner on Christmas Day and every table was taken. The service is terrible. We saw perhaps only two servers for about 20 tables. We had to flag someone for every phase of our meal. The food was really good. The Ma Po Tofu was delicious. The Dumplings were very good. The Eggroll was good too. I enjoyed the Fried Rice too.

They are open in Sunday, they deliver downtown, prices are inexpensive, and if you spend enough you get a free appetizer. The food was standard. Exactly what you would expect from a typical Chinese restaurant. I was hoping for a little higher quality. The General Tsos was definitely not made with white meat. Crab Rangoons and egg rolls were ok. I did not care for the bubble tea. It serves it’s purpose for not wanting to leave the house on a Sunday but nothing special.

When I was living in Clifton I came here about once every couple weeks, the food was okay back then. Two years later, I went back with a group a people and ordered from their chinese menu… Gotta say it was pretty lacking. Especially the seafood tofu soup, OMg, 10 bucks for five tiny shrimps with imitation crabmeat and tofu soup. Whatever u do don’t order this dish. The live tilapia was a decent deal… Well compare to everything else that we ordered. Anyways, I don’t think this place is worth it.

Although it is not the best in the area for Chinese food, I will occasionally come here when I am having a strong dim-sum craving and don’t feel like driving too far for it(living in Clifton). The food is decent, and not too over-priced. The staff are also very friendly. The only thing I order here is the Singapore-curry noodles. they are the bomb.

Stopped here for their taro bubble tea. Clearly mixed from powdered stuff, tapioca had a weird after taste rather than sweet. Probably won’t be getting it again. Other than that, their décor made the restaurant appear rather authentic complete with handwritten signs for daily specials. Everything looked clean. The food on some diners’ tables(yes I was nosey) looked to have generous portions. We might be back for the food next time.

Awesome delivery time, good prices, generous size dishes(always have leftovers), this place was my go to for Dim-Sum during my stay in the Natti. Dinner was great too. –Shrimp dumplings: not the best, but on point with good size shrimp. –Siu Mai: good at best –Spring rolls: very fresh and good size shrimp inside. –fried tofu: awesome –egg drop soup: hard to mess up, it’s good! –chicken feet: not a fan of these from anywhere, all the bones rub me the wrong way. –Mongolian beef: always save the best for last. I love their Mongolian beef, always taste the same and just right. The service was surprisingly excellent and everyone was extra courteous for being in the middle of a college campus. Very impressive. I will definitely be back in Cincinnati someday, even if it’s just to eat here.
