This ass duped all his employees and didn’t pay them. Put a lot of people out of work and hurt their families because he was probably stealing the money and accusing others of doing it. Claims he had a seven figure deal with Kroger but stiffed employees of hundreds and thousands. Now telling employees he’ll reopen with new staff and refuses to pay. Pond scum!

I LOVED tiger dumplings. Loved it. Is it true that they are permanently closed??? If so, why isn’t that posted on Unilocal or on their voicemail when I call?

Nice food. Especially the steamed momos as i have not tried the fried ones. They offer Sriracha mayo as a mixed sauce. It is awesome wth momos.

More or a 2.5. The dumplings are a great little snack but they are on the oily side and as a restaurant there isn’t much else to make it a meal. The veggie have a good flavor and texture. The spicy dipping sauce is tasty. Also the restaurant is dark and small which is not a bad thing but they were blasting rap music which made is uncomfortable to sit and eat the dumplings.

My favorite dumplings! Always delicious and always fast service. Not a big menu selection but the cheap prices make up for it. I also like that they have Coke in glass bottle which is my favorite. This is my go to place for after school dinner or lunch in between classes. The prices are nice to a college students wallet!

Great service, great food. Pork dumplings with the regular sauce are the best! Located on Calhoun, open late and cheap, I’m a big fan.

A little change to our lenten meals. My daughter and I stopped by to check out the veggie dumplings. We got a steamed and a pan fried version. The dumplings were great. We agreed that the pan fried were the best. 5 dumplingsin an order and they are large. Also got both dipping sauces. The spicy has a nice kick. Last but not least an order of sea salt edamae, very tasty. I really enjoyed it. Not many places to sit and Jay Z was blaring from the speakers. It was loud. Maybe I’m just showing my age. We’ll be back.

We are a little obsessed with potstickers in our family, so of course were immediately on board with checking out Tiger Dumpling. If this place existed while I was in law school I would probably have been here multiple times a week. A hearty order of dumplings for $ 5? Yes please! The menu is simple and straightforward– 3 types of dumplings, edamame, soup. Best suited for takeout since this is a tiny little space with just a few hi-tops. I like the pork dumplings the best– they are nice plump and satisfying. My husband prefers the chicken dumplings, which are also tasty. The veggie is a little gingery for my taste. While I know in a Chinatown or bigger metro area you might find something better, this is pretty solid for Cincinnati, given that real Asian food is hard to come by!

I stopped by here hoping to pick up dumplings real quick to bring back to the office for lunch after stopping by the bank. First, I’d like to comment on the service, which was actually pretty poor. Service took a while because there was one person taking orders and prepping food. I think I’m used to dumpling joints in NYC, because I still feel like it shouldn’t have taken so long. Also, the guy at the front had this real«idgaf» attitude, and looked at me like I was stupid when I asked what type of sauces he had when he asked what sauce I wanted. «Spicy» and«Regular.» Really descriptive… not. For people who’ve never been here before, you get your choice between regular soy sauce and a spicier version of the soy sauce. The spicier version of the soy sauce is actually pretty good. You also get to use Sriracha or Sriracha Mayo that you can take with you as well. The dumplings themselves were not bad, but not knock-your-socks-off amazing either. The pork filling was good(lots of ginger, still no chives), but it separated very easily from the dumpling wrapper; I ended up eating them separately for the most part. I liked the somewhat thick, crunchy texture that resulted from the potsticker-style prep. It’s definitely convenient, and my indecisive personality appreciates the concise menu, which is probably why I’d swing by again when I’m craving something quick and Asian that doesn’t involve Chinese takeout. I’m still hopeful for the soup dumplings, and can’t wait to come back for that. tl;dr disappointing service, decent pork dumplings, convenient location

A great place to stop by and grab a quick, cheap, and tasty meal. I had an order of pork pot stickers(5 for $ 5). The pork is seasoned extremely well and the Tiger Sauce is delicious. I subtract a star, however, for the service. Most of the times I call or swing by to order, I am attended by dudes who seem like they just finished getting baked.

I must have been an obvious newbie bc the cool dudes working offered to help me out with the menu. It’s simple and straightforward but I’m indecisive so I didn’t know which kind to pick. The guy working did a quick survey of the other customers asking them to shout out their faves(favorites all over the board) and in the end he offered to mix them up for me so I could try them all(a special favor since they weren’t too busy). The result? Loved them all! Not only the dumplings but the super cool service, chill atmosphere, and the fact that they deliver(through the OrderUp app). Add to that the fact that they’re open until 3am and reasonably priced you never have a reason to go hungry again. Bring on more dumplings!!!

Great for a quick pot sticker fix in Clifton. Pork dumplings are good and the spicy sauce is just right. Wish they had beer, but we’ve been able to take our dumplings over to the Brass Tap and enjoy them with a pint of local craft beer — the perfect solution!

Love dumplings from Tiger Dumpling! It’s become a common lunch or dinner meal at home. $ 5 for 5 big dumplings with some delicious tiger sauce, yes please! I’ve tried both the pork and dumplings and there’s not much of a difference but they both are very well seasoned. It’s usually not that packed during lunch time but at night it’s a different story. I like to order mine online so I can just go pick it up and not deal with the crowd. As for the actual shop itself, well it’s interesting. Interesting mural art, interesting music(if you like Lil’ Wayne, this is your place) and interesting employees, I’m guessing they are college students. I suggest getting your order to go since the place is small with only 3 bar tables. I’ve had the edamame and they are delish and I tried the«hot and sour» soup… not really impressed. If you go to Tiger Dumpling, stick to the dumplings. You won’t be disappointed.

I was prepared to fall in love with Tiger Dumpling, but while I liked it, I think maybe we should just be friends. I stopped in to treat myself to a solo lunch on a Tuesday around 1 p.m., looking for something fast and cheap but off the beaten path. Tiger Dumpling fit the bill, and its great reviews sold me. When I first arrived, I thought it was closed. I was wrong – the door is just heavy! You kind of have to yank on it. Inside I was greeted by a cashier and a cook, and placed my order for five chicken dumplings($ 5) and a small bowl of the hot and sour soup($ 3). So far, so good. Then the cashier asked for a name for the order(which seemed a little odd because there was only one other customer waiting), and when the cook started on my food I had to confirm that it was«for here» not«to go,» and then repeat what kind of dumplings I ordered. It seems like this system would become pretty inefficient with a lot of customers. While my meal was up less than 10 minutes after ordering, I can see why other reviews mention long wait times. I grabbed a seat at one of the three or four tables in the restaurant, and got my soup first. It came piping hot and was a decent«cup”-sized portion. I’d guess it was 8 or 10 ounces. The flavor was bold with lots of pepper, and good amounts of tofu and tiny mushrooms. It was delicious and perfectly spicy, and made me look forward to the rest of the meal. When the dumplings arrived five minutes later, they were still sizzling from the grill, perfectly browned on the bottom and with a side of dipping sauce. The portion is generous given the size of the dumplings – picture about a golf ball-sized meatball wrapped in dough. The wrapping was chewy and just thick enough to hold things together through multiple bites. The meat was a little disappointing, and frankly seemed under seasoned. There was plenty of chicken and it had good texture, but after the great soup I was hoping for a bolder flavor in the dumplings, a little more garlic or scallion or a bit of fresh herbs to give it a boost. The dipping sauce certainly helps out, though. All told, I wouldn’t make a special trip to Clifton for the chicken dumplings, but I’d certainly be willing to return to try the pork or vegetable dumplings. Provided that hot and sour is the soup of the day, that is.

Tiger Dumpling is one of the few Clifton establishments that will have me going back again and again. Their dumplings are large, a good portion of it dough, with a delicious medley of pork and spices stuffed inside. For $ 5 you get five dumplings, a great deal for the amount of food. Aside from pork, they also have veggie and chicken dumplings. With every meal, I get the sweet chili garlic edamame. The sauce is somewhat spicy, but is delicious on the edamame and the dumplings if you have extra left in your container. Though small, Tiger Dumpling’s food has been consistently top notch and one of my favorites! As a warning, their restaurant is SMALL, particularly designed for those grabbing food to go rather than eating there. They have four small bar stools located in the corners available inside, and some tables and chairs outdoors. I prefer grabbing mine to go(usually takes about 5 – 10 minutes) and then enjoying them at home. The bag does get a little messy, so make sure you hold it upright to prevent spilling.

Thank you Tiger Dumpling for bringing something unique to Clifton! Small and simple menu, unique and delicious food, fast and well priced. This place is what the name implies: dumplings. $ 5 gets you 5 dumplings. Don’t worry, they’re big so it’s almost a full meal! Choose between pork, vegetarian, or chicken. I like the pork best. Different flavors of edamame or soup is available as sides. To drink, they offer cans and bottles. They have the basics(coke, water, diet coke), but also some unique Asian beverages. It takes around 5 minutes to get your food, and they have a couple small tables if you want to eat there. For a tiny dumpling takeout restaurant, I’m super impressed. I didn’t expect to love it, but I do! The dumplings are really good, and for $ 5 you can eat a full meal if you aren’t starving. Somehow, tiger dumpling has made it into my regular list of restaurants, and I’ve been hear numerous times over the last few weeks. It’s not the kind of place that blows you away, but it’s good, cheap, quick, and unique enough that it keeps you coming back. Thinking about going to Chipotle for the 5th time this week? Take a break and give Tiger Dumpling a try instead!

I understand why some people get angry cuz the transitional dumpling is well made with fairly thin skins. However, you gotta give tiger dumpling some crediets for the concept. They are able to deliver an ethnic food to not only Asian people but everybody. Sure they are thicker than usual, but people now know about dumpling as a dish, rather than an item on a Chinese food menu. And dumpling is not cheap or filling because they are delicate and light. Tiger dumpling isn’t aiming for that. A quick snack even a meal for college students, I think they are doing a good job! When it first opened, my bf and I thought that four small dumplings for five bucks? I guess they realized that problem and the dumplings all got bigger and they gave us one more now. I personally like the thick skin because after they fired the dumpling on a stove, the dumplings get crunchy! Who doesn’t like crunchy dough!!! We like the pork the most, then veggie, chicken the least. Chicken dumplings? Never had it in my life and we Asians eat a lot of dumplings lol Overall, with some sizzling dumplings, some edamame, we really enjoyed simple lunches on a sunny day there.

Eh, it is a shame, but the dumplings we tried were just OK… We ordered 2 portions of pork and one of veggie dumplings with spicy and regular sauces. They came fairly fast and those 3 servings(15 dumplings) made a generous dinner portion for 2. The dips were very runny, like a soy sauce. The dumplings did not wow us… The pork ones were like a hard meatball in a thick dough. The consistency of the filling was strange, the ball-shaped meat just fell out of the doughy shell… And the dough itself was incredibly thick and heavy on the stomach. The veggie ones had too little seasonings and were rather blunt. In fact, the thick dough made them so heavy that it was hard to keep them with chopsticks. Overall, quite a disappointment and definitely not a delicious dinner… Sorry, but only ‘Meh. I’ve experienced better’ reflect how it felt.

Maybe we came on an off night(it was a Saturday around 8pm), but my experience with Tiger Dumpling wasn’t very good… The store is very small, with only 4 high top tables inside. Since there were two large groups in there at the time, our only real option was takeout. That was kind of upsetting, but we’re flexible… We went up to the counter. There were only two people working, so it took them a few minutes to take our order… They’re cooking, taking orders, and taking payment at the same time. We ended up getting the veggie and the pork dumplings, with both the spicy and the normal tiger sauce. We also got the sea salt edamame. To be honest, I just didn’t like the dumplings. My grandmother makes much better dumplings by hand. I agree with what everyone was saying that the dough was just entirely too thick and doughy… The pork filling was good, but the veggie filling fell apart as soon as you bit into it. I would have liked some tofu or something to bind it together. The sauces were ok, but a little too sweet for my taste. I liked the spicy tiger sauce, but it was definitely spicy, so beware! You can see the peppers floating in it. My biggest issue with the food was that it wasn’t cooked properly. My dumplings were lukewarm to cold. I was surprised, because I literally watched them fry them on the cook top in front of me. But, seriously, one side was cooked and crispy and the rest of the dumpling was lukewarm at best. I think they must refrigerate them and then only fry them on one side. Our edamame was underdone… I had a lot of trouble releasing the beans from the pods. I think maybe our food just didn’t cook very long because they were busy and trying to get orders out quickly. We only waited 5 – 10 minutes for our order. Overall, I think the price was right($ 5 for 5 dumplings), but unless I need fast food to go I don’t think I will be back here again. Very disappointed.

Request for TD2÷21÷15: Tiger dumpling I have to suggest something. You want to offer something new and exiting to cincy and your menu?! The Chinese soup dumpling! –Follow up on request above: This place is crazy amazing. They responded within the same day! messaging me: «Soup Dumplings are in Development. We were planning on saving them for our Hand Pulled Noodle House this summer but they are in process. No promises but if we are comfortable with them and think they are sale worthy we will start by running them as specials. Thanks for your support!» Like what? My head is spinning, now I can’t wait for sweet summa’ time! This is going to be the best summer yet. Review: Okay WOAH! I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve spent 4 years as a waitress and I think I have a pretty good and fair view of the food industry. Experience: I walked in and everyone smiled and said hi! I talked to the service clerk and she was so friendly and then a man(maybe the manager/owner) started talking to me and he was so sweet! Very welcoming and interested about my opinion! Update: THEYCHANGEDTHEPRICE! It is now $ 5⁄5 dumplings. The dumpling and sauce WASPERFECT! And I don’t say that lightly! I’ve not spoken very well of some restaurants(see profile). For those complaining about the small menu: I’d rather have a small menu REALLYWELLDONE(what tiger dumpling is) rather than a huge menu of mediocre food. Okay? Just think on that. :) A+ tiger dumpling. Keep fightin’ the good fight
