Évaluation du lieu : 3 Walnut Hills, Cincinnati, OH
Softball complexes are a dime a dozen in Cincinnati, and Kolping Park is no exception. I’ve always liked this park in the past, being that it was free entry and it accepted credit cards at the bar. This year, however, it costs $ 3 to get in the park, and the bar only accepts cash. Therefore, the all around experience of frequenting Kolping as a spectator(and drinker) has diminished, but the facilities are nice enough aside from my aforementioned gripes. There are three softball fields that are typically well kept, and the bathroom facilities are precisely what you’d expect in an outdoor softball complex: purely concrete, stuffy, and running rampant with daddy longlegs. In summary, the park isn’t awesome, but it doesn’t suck either. [Kolping Park also features a plethora of soccer fields and a reception hall. Additionally, Kolping Society is rich in German tradition, and the park holds Schützenfest, a traditional festival of the Catholic Kolping Society.]
