Logan’s Roadhouse

I wish not giving one damn star was an option. I have been here several times with family and it’s been good, however went there for date night tonight with the boyfriend and our experience was ABSOLUTELY horrible.
We both wanted to go out for dinner and I was in the mood for steak and we really liked Logan’s, so he suggested we go there. It wasn’t busy at all which was good and we were seated quickly. It took a few minutes to get a waitress to help us. When we ordered drinks, we had an EVEN LONGER wait. We both were parched by the time our drinks came to us. Adding since we were both parched, we chugged our drinks down pretty quickly. Also we were starving, if you notice the sign in front by the hostess booth you will see a policy that says if you don’t order an appetizer, you automatically get a FREE basket of rolls. We weren’t asked if we wanted them nor were they brought out. I love their rolls and were disappointed about this.
Back to the actual service. Our waitress was MIA most of the time other than taking our orders and giving us our first round of drinks, in fact we didn’t see her again until we got our food, because a different waitress gave our order to us. I ordered the 6 oz. sirloin and I know that is a small portion, but no over exaggerating here, it was literally the size of a slice of cheese. It was alright to taste, was warm-​ish, the broccoli was a bit too hard, but the macaroni and cheese was good. The boyfriends order, however, was an COMPLETE and UTTER disaster. He ordered the Ol Roadhouse burger, when asked about toppings, he said only tomato lettuce and cheese… the waitress then proceeded to tell him they were completely out of tomatoes and lettuce. I call bullshit on that one. Everything looked fine when it came out just like mine did, but one bite of his burger and it was fucking horrid. I tried it, gross, it was like eating greasy leather. Taste was off and the bun was disgusting. He sent it back and ordered the hand breaded chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and broccoli, so he had to sit and watch me eat. Like I said mine was edible and it was alright. When his finally came out, I was done and he asked me to help him eat because I was still a bit hungry. Let me just tell you one thing, I don’t know what they put in the mashed potatoes or how they make them, but I KNOW that’s not how mashed potatoes taste. They were unacceptable and had a bad aftertaste. While in the middle of taking a bite, I caught whiff of something strange and it smelled a bit like pet food. Dog food to be more exact. I sensed I knew what it was and low and behold, it was the mashed potatoes producing that raunchy smell. I dare you next time you go in, smell them. So we didn’t finish those. The tenders were good along with the broccoli he ordered.
Of course when it came to the check, our waitress had given the other waitress that brought our food out the check, (at this point, we were utterly disgusted and just wanted to leave.) This other waitress then proceeds to tell us that our waitress is busy outside taking a smoke break, not something appropriate to disclose at your restaurant. I have nothing against smokers, I used to smoke, however I think it’s common sense not to tell your customers that. That would be like her telling us our waitress is busy because ‘Natured called’ and she would be a minute that’s just a no-​no! The staff was nice, but the actual service was AWFUL. Food was not great and the atmosphere just didn’t feel promising at all, there was literally no one else there. There’s no excuse for what we went through. Bathrooms aren’t kept up either. Can’t tell if they are just dumb and ignorant or they just don’t care. I can definitely say we won’t be returning and neither one of us feel too great after eating there! DO NOT COME HERE!

Service was good. My steak was cook the way I like it but it was a tough slice of meat. I had the 8 oz sirloin med rare. Beer selection at the happy hour prices was disappointingly small. Will go back again but will try Outback and some of the other places.

We have passed this location probably 100 times. Yesterday, we finally decided to stop in for lunch.
We were warmly greated, then promptly seated. There were only a few other people in the restaurant. My daughter enjoyed talking to every staff member that passed by our table. They were all really sweet to her, and some even seemed to come back just to say hi to her.
Prices for burgers and sandwiches are on par with other local sit down establishments. Burgers and sandwiches come with fries. While shoestring fries are my least favorite kind of fry, these were done well. Each table is adorned with a bucket of peanuts. We were also brought a basket of yeast rolls. Baked on the premisis, the rolls were hot and fluffy. We were still enjoying the rolls when our food came. Everything looked and tasted good. While enjoying our food we were offered more rolls.
A number of other reviews talk about a long wait. Because of this I made sure to note the times when I got out of, and back into the car. Our entire visit, including a parting trip to the restroom took 54min. We could have been out of there sooner, but were in no hurry while we were eating.
All in all a good solid outing.

I will say the food is always great when me and my husband come here but The service is horrible, waiting over 45 mins for my food when it was noon an hardly anyone there is crazy and the fact that the waitress gave us the wrong check and didn’t come to our table hardly at all took us 20 minutes to just pay our bill, I love the food but the workers could do a better job. Also because of the horrible experience me and my husband had last time we were there we won’t be coming back.

Who ever came up with the saying «it hit the spot «at here !!!
Amazing tasty good flavored food I got the stake sandwich and omg amazing flavor and the right quantity!

After about 10 attempts, we are convinced this «steakhouse» can not cook s medium rare steak with nice grill marks or char on the outside. The two pieces of shoe leather (without any brown on the outside) they served us today were disgusting. Hubby left without eating. Apparently they keep costs down by keeping the fire too low on their grill. The shrimp and the salmon were both great but do not go here for a steak!

I’ve been here a number of times and have enjoyed every meal. My husband loves their buffalo chicken sandwich. I like the shrimp and the salads. The yeast rolls are excellent, as are the baked potatoes.
Service has always been good for us!

I have not been to Logan’s in over a year, maybe more because the service was so bad. It would always take forever to take your order and get the food. The salad would be like they just came out of a bag. Tonight something has changed. If you have not been here for a while I encourage you to check it out. Our server, I think his name was Mike, was very nice. Our order was taken promptly and food came out in a normal timely manner. I ordered a half rack of ribs and a salad with mashed potatoes for a side. The ribs were pretty good, just slightly dry. My salad was a upgrade since last time we dined here a year ago. My daughter got the chicken tenders with cinnamon apples. She loved the apples more than the tenders. Logan’s has awesome rolls that come out warm with some butter for dipping. I could eat these every day. My husband had a large speciality salad for his meal. He said it was pretty yummy. I think I will be giving Logan’s more time in the future now that I see they may have made some changes since we dined here.

I’ve tried this place three times because we received gift certificates for Christmas. Our orders were repeatedly messed up, salmon was the fishiest I’ve ever had. Service was as expected from teenagers. Each time it was so bad our meals were comp’ed. After the third try we gave our gift certificates to another patron on our way out!

I have eaten at Logans many times and always had great service, food and reasonable prices. Dont expect more than a steakhouse… but its a good one!

Went to dinner with a party of 11, service was good food was good drinks at happy hour were good, will go back.

Had a perfectly cooked steak and potato dinner and excellent, friendly service here recently. Love Logans!

My family and I went there for dinner early today. Our server was great. Very nice and prompt. However the food wasn’t good.
My sister, and her her husband both ordered sirloins cooked medium. When they came out they were both well done. One was a filet and the other was a sirloin.
My girlfriend and I both ordered steak salads. She asked for her stake to be cooked medium rare and I asked for medium. Both came out well done.
Also we ordered an appetizer that never came out. Then the manager came over and said «sorry about never getting the appetizer, I went ahead and took that off the bill for ya.» Well gee thanks, I’d hope we wouldn’t have to pay for something we never got.
The time we went was around 5:30pm. It was maybe about one quarter of the way full in the building.
I will most likely never eat there again.

Went to logan’s with my wife so an evening out. I will never eat here again. For the appetizer we split the bone in wings. When they arrived at the table, they were cool. It seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The Sauce had soaked into the wings and they were now a pile of mush and hot bbq.
For my main course I ordered the salmon, and my wife ordered the 8 oz teriyaki club steak. We waited a while for these to make it to the table, and when they did we were disappointed. My first bite of salmon was off. Way off. When I looked down I noticed the salmon was completely raw in the middle. Not just under cooked, but RAW. It was also leaking fluid across my plate, and had a fishy smell and taste. I sent it back and it was re-​grilled, and by re-​grilled I mean an annoyed cook burnt it to a crisp. The side were not replaced, and were still covered in whatever ooze that fish had been leaking. Needless to say I tried to fill myself up on rolls. My wifes did not fair much better. He steak was tough, and extremely gristley. The only thing she enjoyed were her fries.
Our server seemed nice, but very distracted. After she brought my fish back from being re-​grilled we did not see her for over a half hour. Even with the errors with the food, the price was not discounted in any way. It was still full price. I feel like this logans really does not care.

The service here blows. Probably won’t come back except to drink, because that’s the only way I’ll be able to tolerate the wait staff. Going on a date? The cool thing they like to do here is take one persons order, bring out their food, then take your date’s order. So while you sit and eat like a fatty in front of your date they get the pleasure of imagining how delicious this sub par, typical steakhouse food tastes. And while Unilocal tells me I’m rolling I’ll throw out there that if you do choose to visit this establishment order a prickly pear margarita, it’s good.

We were just driving on the highway and saw Logans we just decided to stop by and check it out and it was… Just ok nothing to brag about but yet not terrible our waitress was great not only was she at the bar but she had about 3 tables to take care of too. This place is like a Texas rip off to be honest I love Texas and this is just ok I probably will not be coming back simply because it’s not worth it when I live so much closer to a better place

I would have loved to add a review but this place apparently does not want my family’s business. We went in on a Sunday evening around 6pm. We were seated right away at a table for 5. We had never been there before and wanted to try something new. We sat for over 15 minutes and no one said a word or came to out table. There were at least 8 different people we saw who walked past. No drinks and no one wondering if we had been waited in… nothing. We sat and looked around — you know that way you look around trying to get the wait staffs attention. Nothing. So we left. We will never come back. We ended up having a great meal down the road. We made the right choice.

We had a great dinner. Our server Megan was very friendly and attentive.

I’ve eaten here a few times since it opened, and the food/​service has gotten progressively worse each time.
The most recent time I ate there was with a group of five and an infant. When we came in, they told us that they were short on high chairs, so if we wanted to put the baby’s seat in a high chair (you know, turn the high chair upside down and rest the seat on it), that we’d have to wait longer for a table — and the restaurant wasn’t even that crowded.
We were seated in a section whose server had two LARGE parties in addition to ours, and as a result, it took forever to get any sort of drink refills (and we finally had to get up and go get our own bread plates/​silverware, because they were never brought to us).
The food is mediocre. I say mediocre because I got popcorn shrimp, and it’s really hard to screw up popcorn shrimp. I sampled a bite of another party member’s dish, and while it was good, it wasn’t something that I absolutely have to eat. We had to repeatedly ask for extra butter for rolls, which were honestly the best part of the meal if you’re a bread person.

My son loved the ribeye and stuffed sweet potato. He didn’t want to come here tonight but after tasting the food said «dad» you made a good choice.
Wine is expensive for a small glass!
