Awesome buffet with a lot of selection of fresh food! You may order off the menu, but the buffet seemed like a better option. The Mint Lemonade is one of my favorite drinks I have tasted in my life! It’s a must try! Anyway, this was my first trip to this restaurant and I’m a huge fan. Great food, great service at a reasonable price? I’m in! On the negative side, I wasn’t totally blown away by their hummus. Wasn’t bad, but just wasn’t the best.

I’ve only ever had the buffet offerings from Mediterranean King, but the offerings are quite good and stay the same every day. They aren’t very quick to refill the buffet, which makes me a little cautious of piling up my plate too much. They used to provide soup on the lunch buffet, but the last few times I went, the soup container has been empty :(

I wanted to love this place, but did not. I will say the falafel and the lamb with the hot sauce were delicious. The appetizers were meh, the hummus tasted like egg. Not sure why. The house salad had absolutely no taste. The portions were large which was great, but were served lukewarm/cold, It could have been because they did not have the heat on in the restaurant. It is not likely we will return. :(

This place is awesome. Has the best gyros in town. Everything I get there tastes like heaven. Definitely not enough parking but if you are lucky enough to find a spot to park it’s definitely worth it. The food and service is outstanding. Best Mediterranean food around for sure!

The fallafel are indeed the best I’ve ever had — crispy crust with tender & tasty innards, All of our entres — shwarma(s) and kabobs were tender and well seasoned. The only reason I could not give 5 stars was the lasaie faire service and no take out menus were available when requested.

In light of veteran’s day a friend and I decided we should honor the sacrifice of our bravest, and stuff ourselves on some amazing Mediterranean food. Having never tried this place, but knowing it’s reputation(and the fact it’s a buffet) this became our target. I called ahead to get details(make sure they were open) since I can’t find them anywhere else online. Here we go: Every day but Sunday and Friday from Noon-3pm the buffet is $ 10, no drink included. We arrived around one thirty, after a bit of a struggle with parking/construction out front(not a ton of space immediately at the location, but plenty around if you come around lunch. The wait staff was great, both waitresses being polite and accommodating our requests, kept our table clean, our drinks full, and restocked the buffet as we wiped it out of pita bread and sticky rice. The buffet had two types of salad, a house and a cucumber(difference was the house had feta cheese and more black olives), three different spreads(hummus, baba ganouj, and a spicy spread that was more of a paste), cold pickles/olive mix, stuffed grape leaves, and the aforementioned sticky rice with oranges on the cold bar. The hotside was amazing — large pieces of falling off the bone chicken(whole chicken pieces of all types, dark and light meat) in a delicious broth, yellow rice, tomato/onion/pepper rice, falafel, sauteed okra in a red sauce, and a spinach/chickpea/butter simmer dish. Everything was killer, I couldn’t have been more delighted with the food. The chicken was easily as good as any standalone dish I’ve ever had at a Mediterranean restaurant, and there’s no way you can be mad at all you can eat hummus and falafel. I mean it’s like hush puppies on steroids — you’re going to have a few! But I’ve not even mentioned the best part of it all, the lentil soup. I have no idea what else was in this stuff, but the cups they brought to our table were truly the best tasting soup I have ever had. I absolutely am not exaggerating, topped with crisped pita bread and chopped spring onion, the soup was rich and creamy without overpowering the natural richness of the beans. I have no idea what to expect next time, but I do know for a fact there will be a next time. Can not recommend higher.

What a hidden gem. Small, nothing fancy, GREAT food, great service and reasonably priced. We enjoy their small but tasty lunch bar. Our ONLY complaint… they don’t open until noon. If they opened an hour earlier, their business would explode.

Best falafel I’ve ever eaten. Chicken schwarma also excellent. Reasonably priced lunch. Easy street parking. Chef locks the kitcken when preparing the secret recipe falafel batter. That’s a good idea!

The mint lemonade is a must have and the gyro sandwich was very good! We also tried the chicken kabob with basmati rice which was great and it came with the house salad which was refreshing. If I’m driving through Cincinnati again I will definitely make a stop here again!

I will start by saying that the negative reviews about this joint are pretty ridiculous. Made me question one persons experience with authentic Arab cuisine(the hummus is superb!). Our family of five are regulars; the friendly servers know our customized orders backward and in their sleep. And the owner practically feels like family. We have not only eaten at the restaurant frequently, but have also catered for large professional events. While the gyro is one of our favorite choices in town, they do vegetarian/vegan right. Good options and healthy portions for the price. Lastly… Do not leave here without trying their mint lemonade! TDF!

We are looking for a place since Myra’s Dionysis closed. So far, the search has been futile. First impressions of Mediterranean King: appears clean; nice décor; Soup tastes like it came from Campbell’s soup can: my Lamb Gyro was warm and tasty; my wife said her her gyro is good. When we expressed dislike for the soup, the waitress became defensive. While it is not Dionysis, we’d probably come here again. Still looking, though. Postscript: the waitress came back, engaged us in conversation. She was very pleasant.

Don’t be scared. Walk in. I know the outside is a little iffy, but the food is worth it. The chairs weigh about half a pound-but the food is authentic and a great price. Best falafel in this mother fuckin city.

Nice friendly staff. Food just sub par. Not sure why rated so high. Had the beef Sharma as recommended by the staff as the #1seller. Just ok at best. The Baklava, which is my favorite dessert, taste like rancid oil.

This is the best kabob place in Cincinnati, hands down. The space is nice: comfortable and engagingly-decorated. Tables are all four-tops, but they will move things around if there are more of you. The portions are enormous(my fella and I order two appetizers and one meal and leave very full). Appetizers are great and around $ 5 each. Try the pickle appetizer! It has great variety and delicious pickled eggplant. We also enjoy the Lebne. Main dishes are almost too large for one person, and beautiful on the plate. The rice is wonderful, the vegetables are always fresh and perfectly seared, still crisp. I’ve heard the sandwiches may not be as good as the rest of the menu. I’ve never had one, but the dinner menu more than makes up for that weak spot. You won’t be disappointing by the chicken kabob. Parking is easy: There is a free lot at the corner of the block, and after six, parking is free all along Clifton and side streets.(Don’t bother trying to park on the apron right in front.) Service is fast and the servers are cooperative, friendly, and always nearby if you need them.

I’ve been looking for a great doner/kefta/kofta/chelo/adana kebob with fragrant rice and side salad dish for years. The right amount of char, the spice of the meat, the slight sourness in the tahini. It’s perfect here. I could eat another right this minute. Shokran, Mediterranean King!

I love this place. Their gyros are amazing, as is their chicken, rice pudding, falafel, and hummus. I wish I could afford to buy their big entrees, but I can’t. Oh well!

Decided to give this place a try before going to a movie at Esquire. We were not let down! There were 4 of us in our party on a Friday night. The dining area is small and it wasn’t busy. Our waiter was fantastic! He went over the menu with us, explained everything and made recommendations so we could try as many things as possible. The hummus and baba ganoush were great, but our favorite was the foul(fava bean dip) so if you want just one, I’d definitely give that a try! We shared one of the large platters that had all of the different meats they offer. Overall it was a great experience, great food and great service. Will definitely be coming here again!
