We were there one night for the first time in forever. It was a packed night and Danny the owner talked to us in line and was super kind and welcoming. Once we got inside it is clear that pavilion has come a long way since two years ago. Probably due to good music and great owner decisions! Thanks Danny we will have to come again sometime :)

Probably the worse bar in town. They are super slow with their service, and their drinks are not that great

One of my favorite spots to get food from in Mt. Adams. I highly recommend the pork tacos! Pavilion on the weekends has the best of everything you can want. Live bands on the bottom decks. A rocking party on the Main floor, and a more lounge /chill vibe in the penthouse. Also lets not forget about the AMAZING view from the decks! I have had quite a few things off the menu and it has all been great. Asside for the pork tacos I recommend the buffalo burger.(I believe it won best burger, during Cincinnati’s «burger week» competition! At Pavilion you can do it all!

First time here, last time here. Ordered drinks and food. The drinks came out, one was incorrect and we asked about it and she said, «I’m sorry I rang in the wrong thing, but that one is $ 4 cheaper!» Needless to say she never brought us the correct drinks. As for the food. After waiting 33 minutes while being the only people at the restaurant the food came out awful. Cold, nasty«lettuce» old tomatoes… I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The only thing they have going for them is a view.

This place has been around for a very long time Bar with outside tables on many levels overlooking the city. Great views. Food is burgers, tacos, bbq pork and appertizers. Pretzels need beer cheese not mustard or ranch. Buffalo chicken dip was good. Dittobfor chicken tacos.

Mount Adams Pavilion is the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of Mount Adams establishments. If you go here for happy hour or really any afternoon for that matter, you will be able to take in some of the best views of downtown Cincinnati on their amazing patio while enjoying your favorite drink of choice. However, at night, the establishment turns into a nightclub, the DJ comes on, and the scene transforms from casual and laid back to dancey and rowdy. Realistically it has anything that anyone would ever want, the best of both worlds, but if you’re looking for something in particular just be careful when you go because you may find yourself casually drinking with Dr. Jekyll while enjoying the cityscape, or taking shots with Mr. Hyde while doing the Stanky Legg.

Mt. Adams Pavilion offers a five star view of the Queen City. The structure of the bar, with its many levels and places to sit, are equal parts nice and confusing, particularly if you’re trying to locate a friend. I ordered a gin + tonic from the bar, which quite frankly just tasted off. I’m assuming that the tonic water was the problem. Service was average. Overall, I would definitely stop by with out of town friends to show off the beautiful view, but not frequent it as a favorite of mine. There isn’t anything wrong with it per say, but I can think of many other places I would rather go to have a good time!

Really disappointed in this club and the area in general. There was a fight that involved a bartender and the police were out in droves. The whole experience made me feel less safe. Police barked orders from their cars and seemed to be not so great a place for African Americans. Did not feel welcome at all. There were tons of cute girls but not enough to distract me from the fact that pavilion was a terrible place to be. Enjoyed the folks I was with but not the place. Weeds shortly after arriving.

This review is strictly for the bar. It was time to celebrate and the gf and I wanted a drink with a view. Logically we tried Phelps Bar first, but it seems to be easier to sneak into the White House than it is to make it up there so this is where we ended up. We walked up to the bar and asked for a drink menu. I will say that they have a lot of bottled/canned beers but they ONLY have Corona on tap. Seriously? Corona? The lady ordered a Moscow Mule and I ended up getting some IPA. The Moscow Mule came in a plastic cup. Not a copper mug, not even a glass, but a plastic cup. Next time I think I’ll just bring my own solo cup. The nice part about MAP is that they have a great view with 3 – 4 different balconies. There were only two other parties at the bar, it was a Tuesday night, so it was nice and quiet with a beautiful sunset. That will most likely be my last encounter with MAP though. I can’t imagine what it looks like or what the clientele is like on a weekend if I’m getting served a plastic cup on a Tuesday.

Two stars is generous. The only reason this place gets a second star is because of the awesome view and the great outdoor space. Yikes, that’s all the good things I have to say about this place. Mount Adams Pavillion fuels my disdain for the Mt. Adams bar crowd. First off, I should admit my bias: I hate 90% of Mt Adams bars(Blind Lemon and a couple others are fine). I arrived on a Tuesday night at roughly 8pm to have a drink with a close friend. It was a beautiful night to look over the city and enjoy a drink! When I arrived the bartender was pouring shots for himself and 3 patrons at the bar. At 8pm. On a Tuesday. It seemed an unusually long wait to get 2 drinks. My friend ordered a beer, I ordered a gin and tonic, which was served in a plastic cup. On a tuesday night. I felt like I was in college again. Isn’t this place supposed to be nice, sort of? I understand not giving glass during peak hours and the regulars of Mt Adams are tossing jaeger bombs and doing keg stands, but this just seems sleazy. Maybe I’m being overly harsh, but I can’t say I would ever voluntarily come back to this place.

After a dinner with a local, he said, «Let’s go to Mt. Adams!» I saw it from a distance, and it’s a nice area to drive around, but I couldn’t figure out what is so intriguing about the spot. When we parked, he immediately started looking for bars with the«best view». Still, I was lost. We stumbled upon Mt. Adams Pavilion and climbed the stairs all the way to the highest deck. Then, I saw it – this amazing, breathtaking view of the Cincinnati skyline at night. It was incredible. The beauty of the lights, bridges, river, and stadium is probably sometimes mildly lost on the locals, but coming from a city that’s best skyline consists of skyscrapers and big business headquarters, I certainly appreciated this view. Definitely come here on a quiet night to enjoy the view – great to bring a date or just enjoy an evening with friends!

It had been almost a year since I had been to the Pavilion, and I definitely like it more now. The crowd seems to have diversified a lot– or maybe Saturday was just a good night. I also came for a party so the cover charge was waived, which is a big plus for me, who systematically walks away from bars charging covers. What used to be a fratty filled place now had a crowd ranging from my parents age on the bottom patio to boys who I would’ve thought were in high school. I saw many people in more casual clothes and overall was able to actually walk through the bar and get served a drink in a timely manner. So Pavilion, you might be growing into someplace I like to go to!

This review is specifically for the 4−8pm Happy Hour. Pavillion offers their happy hour from 4−8pm everyday with $ 2 domestics, $ 3 imports, and $ 5 frozen margaritas! My boyfriend and I came here on a lazy Monday afternoon and were the only people in the entire place. We took a small two-seater on the third floor deck of the patio and boy was the view amazing! You can really see the whole city from here. It was nice to get some privacy, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and Pavillion really hit it gold here. We enjoyed the patio all to ourselves in a nice 65-degree afternoon overlooking the city, absolute heaven. We ordered The Don Coreleon burger($ 8.95) with a side of curly fries(+$ 1.99) and the Steak Hoagie($ 8.95) with a side of curly fries(+$ 1.99). For our drinks, we had a strawberry frozen margarita($ 5). The margarita was absolutely to die for! It had the exact balance of alcohol, blended ice, and flavoring that was needed. I’d venture to say that it’s one of the best I’ve had in Cincinnati. The burger and steak hoagie were also very delicious! I’m not sure how great of a deal the food was, considering that it is supposed to be happy hour but I was definitely pleased with the taste. Overall a great experience!

Pavilion — you are so lucky I came on a Tuesday. I can tell this place gets packed up on most other nights. Pavilion has an amazing view of the river(which River is this again? The Cincinnati River? The nile?). We loved the patio on a perfect 80 degree day, which was accompanied by… I think 12 buckets of $ 12 beers for 30 people. Really an enjoyable experience, other than the fact that bathrooms are 4 stair cases down.

Three words: Tree house patio. So let me preface this review by saying I went at 6:00pm on a Thursday to have dinner and happy hour drinks here so my experience is apparently very different than others. The atmosphere I encountered was insane! A three story deck overlooking the city with tons of luscious greenery cozy chairs, and delicious $ 5 frozen margaritas? I don’t think it gets any better than that folks! The happy hour prices were so incredibly cheap I think our total bill with drinks was $ 33 and we had two margs, two beers, a burger, and chicken tenders. The chicken tenders unlike most places were ACTUALLY tender! Who wudda thunk? The burger we got was the«Don Coreleon» and rightfully so: A 1lb burg topped with two cheese sticks, covered in marinara, and seasoned with Italian spices this burger was like no other. Juicy, flavorful, inventive, and deee-licious! We sipped our margs and enjoyed this crazy(what I felt like was a tree house in the middle of the city) view. It was the perfect temperature out too. Pure bliss. Service was great and everything came out hot. I highly recommend!

Uhg… I’ve been here twice. I flat out refuse to go anymore. They keep sending me ‘VIP’ invites. I wish it would stop. Hint: the ‘VIP’ invites are not really for anything VIP, you just get in for free. I have friends who like this place. You will too, if you love crowed, intensely loud, singles fest bars. Oh yeah, you don’t like paying normal prices for drinks? Good, because drinks here are expensive! You like to have no place to sit, and a sticky floor? The pavilion is the place for you then! Maybe it’s just because I can’t stand this type of bar anyways, but there are much better options in the area.

I’ve had some good times here, both before the«cool kids» show up(ya know at like 11 or midnight) and while out on the dance floor. I think MAP is a place where you can go to chill, mingle or party like crazy depending on the night you are there and your mood. The wall of shots list is creative and unique to the area. The outdoor patio is great for enjoying some drinks and appetizers and for those that aren’t a fan of the dancefloor. I could give or take live bands that play outside in the lower level patio. The bartenders I have encountered have been surprisingly quick and attentive even though I am not a young hot chick. Ha! Kitchen hours are Sun-Thurs 4−10PM and Fri-Sat 4−11PM. Happy hour 4−8PM including $ 5 margaritas Check their facebook page and website for special event details. They seem to bring in lots of cool DJ’s and other entertainers. Also check out the Second Saturday Art Walks in the area. Local artists art is at 18 of the area establishments. Next ones are May 12 and June 9, noon-6PM
