If I could give half a star or even no stars, I would. I didn’t have super high expectations for this place going in, I mean come on, it’s a dive pizza place, right? Well they hit well below the low bar I had mentally set. First off, I probably stood at the counter for almost five minutes before the girl working even realized I was there. The only reason she saw me is because her boyfriend(I’m guessing that’s who he was because he was just hanging around not eating or ordering food) told her she had a customer. By the way this was at 4:15 with only one customer order in front of me, so it’s not like she was swamped, she just didn’t give a crap to glance at the counter every once in awhile. When she finally took my order, she was friendly and courteous, so no issues there, but alas this is where things started spiraling down the proverbial toilet. The time she told me it would take was off by 10 minutes, and when I went to check on it, she told me the dough had collapsed in the middle while in the oven. Really? Is this thing a pizza or a sink hole? So I asked her how much longer it would be for a different pizza and she went back to check with her boss. She then reemerged to tell me her boss said it just split down the middle and was fine. Ok, I’m thinking, it was going to be cut down the middle anyway, so no big whoop, right? As it turns out, it was a pretty sizable whoop. When my wife and I sat down to eat this thing, it appeared as any pizza should, on the face of it, but when we tried to take the pieces to our plates we realized the truth. This thing looked like it had been pieced back together from other sad little misshapen pizzas. It was like a Franken-pizza, if you will. So when we went to pull the slices out they all came apart leaving pieces of pizza and most of the cheese still in the box. On the bright side, it surely can’t get any worse… oh but it did. The pizza wasn’t even cooked through. So what we had in front of us was a blob of half-baked dough with bland sauce and partially melted cheese on top. My wife couldn’t even finish one piece. I powered through a couple, just because I was starving, but ended up feeling much like a guy caught watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians by his friends… ashamed, embarrassed, and overly unfulfilled. So to sum up, unless you are trashed six weeks from Sunday or just escaped from some psycho’s basement and haven’t eaten in two weeks, AVOID this place at all costs. You’re welcome.

This place is rather older looking from the outside. We ordered at the counter and chose a table at the long, narrow seating area. There are only three tables here, so this is probably more of a carry-out place. There were several vegetarian options labelled with an asterisk — even a vegan pizza and veggie sausage! We just had a simple cheese and mushroom pizza and a Veggie Hoagie. They were out of the veg. patty that would normally come on this sandwich, but he substituted in some vegetarian sausage. Very good food!

Mt. Adams Pizza, as several reviews before me have suggested, is the perfect location for post-bar munching. Obviously open late and serving slices or full pizzas to Mt. Adams bar hoppers who can stumble in and find their wallet. I was actually pleased with the pizza I inhaled at MA Pizza. Piping hot, crispy pepperoni, and not overly greasy. I struggle to eat pizza other than Dewey’s but the convenience and speed of service at Mt. Adams Pizza at 2am certainly can’t be beat. As an added bonus, the man working on the night I went was extremely friendly and not the least bit uncomfortable with a restaurant full of intoxicated individuals.

For dinner on Friday night I picked up a couple of pizzas from Mt. Adams Pizza & Deli. Before 7PM there is plenty of ten minute parking on the nearby hilly streets of Mt. Adams. If you are picking up pizza later in the evening, the bar filled neighborhood will likely be void of any available free parking. However I bet their average customer doesn’t run into parking issues, as they seem to mostly cater towards late night diners, who are likely taking cabs around town or who have already paid to park in a nearby lot. I arrived around 6:20 to find one of the few tables inside occupied and another two customers in line placing orders for dine in. Another guy walked in shortly after I did, who was also picking up a carry out order. I called ahead and was told that my pizzas would be ready in 20 – 25 minutes, and when I arrived 25 minutes later they were in one of those insulated delivery bags waiting for me, still hot from the oven. We had a $ 20 Groupon to use, so we decided to try two of their 12 specialty pizzas. First up for me was the Mediterranean Pizza with feta, green olives, onion, banana peppers, tomato, and oregano($ 14 for 12). First of all, I don’t think they could have possibly fit any more toppings on this pizza. You definitely get what you pay for, as far as toppings are concerned. With so many toppings it was hard to get a taste of the sauce, but once I got closer to the edge of the crust I really enjoyed what I could taste. Plus the crust itself was really good, just slightly crispy and definitely chewy. I could have gone another minute or two overall on the bake, but still a solid pizza. Our second pie was the Mona Lisa chicken pizza with barbecue sauce, chicken, and onion. This wasn’t quite as filled with toppings as compared to the Mediterranean, but still more than your average pizza. This is one of their«white pizzas» which have no sauce, but are brushed with olive oil and garlic. But with the barbecue sauce drizzle, you don’t really need any other sauce on this pizza. This pizza seemed to be a little more well done than the first, which I really enjoyed. In the future I would probably skip the Mediterranean in favor of something with a little less olives on it, but the Mona Lisa is definitely worthy of ordering again. I don’t think I will go out of my way for Mt. Adams Pizza, but it is definitely worthy of a visit when in the area.

Mt. Adams pizza is… well let’s call it what it is, a drunk person’s paradise. This place is pretty much the only late night food available in Mt.Adams. It is a tiny little business nestled right on the hill. You walk in and there are only 2 or 3 booth that most people ignore. There is a little counter where you can order at and then most people just wait outside. The pizza is surprisingly good! The sauce is a little different. I would say spicier than most. The only problem I have with this place is you cannot order a slice of pizza before 11:00 p.m. I was here at 10:30 and just wanted a slice and they said I would have to order the entire pizza. I’ve been back several times and they are sticklers for this rule. The best part about this place though is they will deliver it to any bar you are at. Which is kind of awesome! If you are looking for a good ol’ fashioned pizza night or just a slice to sop up the alcohol check this place out for sure.

I’ve never had the pizza, but last year at the Unilocal event at Bow Tie café I was standing outside talking with a friend who was eating a gyro from here and he was raving about how great it was(I thought maybe he was just drunk hungry). After trying to get lunch at a nearby place and never getting a server until we stood up to leave, we walked here, ordered gyros and dined in. It is a tiny little place with only two tables(I think) but they were open at that moment. I got the combo meal which was a gyro, fries and drink. The gyro was a little messy, but tasty. It wasn’t the most flavorful tzatziki, but eh for the price it worked. I think the pizza by the slice is only sold in the evening, during bar hours. Possibly I’ll be back during that time to try a slice since I don’t want a whole pizza, but I would like to try it.

I’ve only gotten this pizza while drunk, but it deserves better than that. Pizzas you order from this spothave the right amount of toppings. The ingredients are fresh, and the topping variety leaves nothing to be desired. In my mind, this is a contender for best pizza in Cincinnati. Try the buffalo. Overall, it’s a little on the expensive side for pizza, but I think it’s worth it. Just don’t expect to eat there; the shop is tiny. Bottom Line: I’ll definitely order out again.

I got a Groupon for Mt. Adams Pizza and tried to use it twice. The first time we called(during operating hours) and the phone just rang. No answer. We tried a few times over the course of 30 minutes before giving up. The second time we called they answered the phone and said«Hello, we have no pizza». Seriously? It wasn’t so much that they had no pizza(granted that was an issue), but that they didn’t offer an explanation, or anything to show that they cared about whether we ever called again. So, I have no idea what the food is like, but the basic operations aren’t very good, and I won’t waste my time again. Now I have to get a refund — what a pain!

Friendly service but sandwiches are to die for, literally! From what we could tell most ingredients are from a package and not at all fresh. There was dirt on the lettuce. We should have ordered the pizza as it did look tasty from a distance.

I’ve had the pizza and calzone from here, and both were totally loaded with toppings. I’m a big toppings guy, so this is a definite plus for me. Seems like anymore if you get a LaRosas pizza and order banana peppers, you *might* get 1 pepper per slice. This is not the case @ Mt. Adams Pizza!

I have only been here one time so I am not extremely acclimated to the place. I went there and was going to get a banana pepper and onion pizza until I saw that they had a special that night that had ham, pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers, and onions for about a dollar more! The staff was friendly and as I understand, they serve pizza by the slice at night to satisfy the clientele for the late night. The pizza was pretty good and they really packed the ingredients on. I just didn’t think the pizza was anything to write home about. I prefer Mac’s and Papa Dino’s in Clifton Heights over Mr. Adams Pizzeria. I wouldn’t object to getting it again, but I won’t be going out of my way to go there.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the space, although I love the local artists’ work hanging on the walls. There is not a lot of seating at this establishment — perhaps 5 tables or so. Perhaps most of their business is carryout or delivery. I found the pizza to be ok. It was a little too fluffy for me and lacked flavor. My partner who got wings prefers his wings on the dry and crispy side. These were drenched in sauce. I missed fountain drinks. I ended up buying a can of Diet Coke. And then purchasing another one half way through my meal. I can’t say we hated it, but it just didn’t jive with us. It’s really a matter of personal taste.

I have had late night pizza here quite a few times and it hits the spot as far as grubbing after a night of drinking. Good prices for fresh, well made pizza. The crust is well made, yummy and fresh. The toppings are standard and they have quality choices like artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes and a variety of cheeses or you can settle for tried and true pepperoni or meat choices. The salads are all right. I’ve had a gyro here before and was disappointed. Stick to the pizza.

Used a Groupon I had worth $ 20. Since there isn’t a lot of space in Mt. Adams Pizza & Deli me and my girlfriend decided to get carry out. We went with a medium pepperoni pizza and a 6-cheese calzone. The pizza was ok, nothing extraordinary but a solid pie. The calzone was really tasty, I forget off the top of my head which 6 cheeses are used, but they all go together well whatever they may be. I can picture myself returning, it won’t be a pizza place I go to on a regular basis, but it was good enough for another visit. Next time I order from here I might just get a calzone as it was the real star of our dinner.

Was visiting my boyfriend in cincinnati. It was raining not cats and dogs but lions, tigers, and bears. We didn’t want to leave home for nourishment and apparently delivery options in cincinnati are very slim. This was the only place we could find to deliver and it was fantastic. The pizza was pretty great. Keep in mind that I live in manhattan so great is probably awesome if you consider the geographical context. Not only that but it was delivered super fast and was incredibly cheap(large pizza with 3 toppings, 2 sodas, an app, and dessert for less than 25 bucks). I will definitely be back.

Great place to get late night food after going to the bars around Mt Adams. The variety is what you’d expect from a quick pizza place but I thought it was pretty cheap(2 slices of cheese for $ 4.50).

What a place! I’ve been to Mt. Adams many times but never really noticed this little pizza place. It may just be a bit overshadowed by Teak which is basically right next door. So we ventured out to this place one afternoon wielding a Groupon to see what it was all about. If it’s pizza, I’ll travel high and low to find/try new pizza so keep ‘em coming Groupon/LivingSocial! Anyway, the staff was pleasant and they have your average pizza place assortments of food. I went with the hamburger pizza just to try something a little off the beaten path and it was great!(Even better reheated if you’re one of those pizza connoisseurs) For two people, a pizza, hoagie, and two drinks we came in right under $ 20, pre-Groupon that is. $ 10 a person for a pizza place is A-OK with me. PS They’re open very late, great for some post-bar food.

This is one of those places where I wish there were a two-tier rating scale. Me, I give it a four. You… well, you might give it a three. But I’m me, so I’m giving it a four. Deal with it. The actual storefront is tiny, but the pizzas(and, particularly, the calzones) are tasty. Tasty in that delicious, greasy but awesome sort of way. They have tons of toppings to choose from, they’re fast, they deliver(to a limited area), and they’re super nice. The restaurant only has a few tables, so it’s more of a takeout place than a real restaurant, but if you’re on the hill and need some pizza, it’s your spot. And if you live in or near Mount Adams, well, I’d say you’re in luck.
