Good food, my fiancé and I frequent this location regularly when we’re looking for a «cheat meal». I usually order the double cheese burger with everything on it and scrambled eggs. My fiancé orders a grilled cheese and gravy cheese fries(first thing on the menu I would recommend for first timers) the service is usually average to good depending on how busy they get. This is a pretty popular place and they do take a lot of carry out orders so sometimes laying for your bill can be a little frustrating because they usually take the carry out orders first. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get

Normally really good food, but came up on a Thursday night when the say they close at 4a & they were closed. Ppl clearly in the back, phone off the hook. But foods good especially the gravy cheese fries, so 2 stars. But closed when suppose to be open.

I ordered a burger and fries to go. I waited roughly 15 minutes but as I didn’t call ahead I don’t consider that a lengthy amount of time as everything is made to order. First off, the burger was delicious. It was served just like any diner would, but it was cooked and seasoned really well. Fries were normal diner fries, tasty. It’s a very small place. So make sure you’re comfortable with being elbow to elbow with your neighbor, if it’s busy. Not really a surprise as its a diner. The waitress was pleasant but frank. I wouldn’t expect«wow» customer service from her. But she got my order right and told me to have a good day. Not much else I can ask for. Overall it’s a nice neighborhood diner, it’s clean with good food. I’ll be back.

It is what it is. An awesomely greasy dive. Get a burger, chili, gravy cheese fries, goetta, and Coke. Enjoy! There’s nothing wrong with a place like this. It’s great.

They don’t wear gloves and have poor hygiene. When my friend asked them to use gloves for her order the cook wiped his nose with his hand. Because she complained they called the cops on her after we still tipped the waitress. Those gravy fries could come with hepatitis c. Beware!

If you’re trying this place for the first time and you’re a loyal Skyline fan, do your best not to compare! The chili here obviously is not going to taste the same, but it is still good and has its own flare. Like many of the other reviews, I can agree that the gravy cheese fries here are the BEST thing. They’ve got a pretty large selection, it’s cheap(make sure to bring cash — cash only), and the food is decent. My only complaint is that the majority of the time I’m here, the food takes forever to come out… but they’re still friendly and always recognize their regulars. They also have their own parking lot. NICE.

Pleasant Ridge is Cincinnati’s next HOTTEST neighborhood and PRC is just one of the many amazing things about it. Best chili in the city hands down.

They for sure remodeled this place. I think I’m going nuts, but I recall there was a tabletop Ms. Pacman machine years ago. I’m sure I was imagining it. Maybe not. I love the memorabilia, nicely framed. Is that Muhammed Ali looking for his PRC fix? The service was nice(you people wanting better service, try living in Los Angeles… they wouldn’t move you if you were a corpse). Friendly regulars haunt it. Grizzly, with character. I really dig this place, circa October of 2015. I got a mess of food coney, cheese no onions, fries, and 3 way chili. Perfect for the chill in the air, while helping my sister remove a tree trunk that fell on the fence. Incidentally, moving big object caused a bit of a regurgitation… so I got to taste PRC on the back end. STILL tasty! happy holidays.

PRC is a quaint little neighborhood spot with comfort food and your standard chili/breakfast fare. The place is a bit small, and judging by the amount of people in there around lunch time, it can also get a little crowded. Service was timely and friendly — no complaints. We ordered breakfast food and it seems like it would be pretty consistently tasty. The hashbrowns with cheese were delicious! Just a warning that this place is cash only, so make sure you hit up the ATM ahead of time.

PRC is my favorite Cincinnati chili parlor overall which says a lot considering I have been to every single one in Cincinnati! It is definitely comfort food here and even if you are not a Cincinnati chili fan there are many things on the menu, including their famous gravy cheese fries and my favorite, gravy cheese home fries! They also typically have an assortment of homemade pies for dessert and serve breakfast in the mornings and are open super late, until at least 0400a most days which will serve you well on that light night drive home and you feel the need for some potato products smothered in gravy and cheese and served with a cheese coney.

This place has been at its current location forever and a day, and you can tell that easily from the look of the place The thing that is «the item to get» here is the cheese fries with gravy, but count me among the minority that does not get the appeal of this item. The fries used are fresh-from-the-freezer-bag crinkle cuts, and both the cheese(same as they put on ways and coneys) and the gravy is on the bland side. What I do like to order here are the Cincinnati-style chili items, especially the cheese coney, which are loaded a bit heavier with the chili than at most chili parlors in town, and the same cheese mentioned above works a lot better for some reason. The place has a full diner menu, so the selection is a lot bigger than at most chili parlors. I had a slice of chocolate cream pie, and while I think it was institutional rather than made there, it was pretty good Open long hours, plenty of parking on their lot, and service is quick and efficient Recommended

Me and a couple friends went to eat here the other night. I have been here a few times before, and never had a complaint. For my friends, this was their first time here, and on this specific day, we all experienced the most awful service. The waitress was completely rude. I have had a few family members rave about how good the food was, and honestly the food was amazing! However; I have never felt more uncomfortable and unwanted in an establishment trying to enjoy my dinner. All we wanted was to eat as fast as we could and get out of there and out of this awkward situation that was definitely not necessary. Yes, the establishment was busy, and we all completely understood that. We were in no rush, and were also completely patient and respectful with her, even though her attitude was so strong with us, we could feel the tension fuming from her just as she took our order. Everyone in our group has had experience working with the public, so we know that some days are awful. But regardless of that, you have a job to do and customers to please so you can keep their business. Not scare them away. Again, the food was absolutely amazing! But despite that, I don’t think we will be returning because of the poor poor service that was experienced.

Ordered the turkey sausage and French toast. The French toast had the greatest taste and ratio of egg and bread. It was beyond delicious and I would definitely recommend anyone in the world to come here. I have also tried there burgers and gravy fries which for some reason seem to have been laced with a magic sauce. A must try and must dine in for anyone !

CASHONLY. Just in case you only read that far into my review :). First time here i had to try a bit of everything. Bowl of plain chili with cheese on the side. Chili had a unique cincinnati chili flavor, I liked it for sure. Also had a cheese coney which was just like skyline a little less spicy. Of course I have never tried fries with gravy in my life, but it was rather interesting. Tastes exactly like it sounds. Fries with brown gravy and cheese. Messy to eat but definitely was good. Nice helping for a half order, i was over them after about the 5th bite. Definitely a good late night food. All around excellent service staff and quaint neighborhood atmosphere

I thought gravy cheese fries sounded weird/potentially-gross when my boyfriend’s co-worker first suggested that we try«PRC», but WOW they are awesome! Ever since we first tried them, this is my go-to place for«it’s 1am and I’m STARVING» food. Service can be a little slow at times, but that’s because they usually only have one server working late at night when we’ve been there, and it can actually get decently busy at that time. Their 3-way chili spaghetti is great, the BLT is also awesome, and obviously the gravy cheese fries are the bomb! This is definitely one of those community treasures when it comes to getting good food that’s easy on the wallet — and the late hours make it even better, since there aren’t a lot of places in the area to get good food after 10 or 11pm.

There are other places that offer gravy. There are other places that offer fries. There are other places that offer cheeses. But this is THEPLACE to put all three together in such a unique and awesome experience for your taste buds. One side of me says I’ve given up on life eating a mound of gravy cheese fries. The other side of me wants to shout it from the rooftops. BONUS: Cheese coneys are just as good as Skyline and their breakfast sandwiches are great.

When my boyfriend first suggested Gravy Cheese Fries, I thought why in the world would anyone want to eat that? But I had no idea of the level of deliciousness I was about to experience! I fell in love. I started to try other restaurant’s renditions of the dish and while I found many different recipes some with sausage gravy others with a gravy that was good but nowhere near as delicious and PRC. And I always found my way home lol. Overall a great community staple. Awesome Cincinnati chili, great burgers and sandwiches and easy on the pockets

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write a review for this place!!! Is this a «must go to» Nope… if you’re not a neighborhood native, you just not get this greasy spoon. If cheese and gravy fries do not sound like the most amazing food ever, then don’t go. But this is my kind of place!!!

Gravy cheese fries sound disgusting when I first heard about it but they are life changing. Nothing is better than a 2 am trip being surrounded by other buzzed souls. The servers are very awesome and patient. They also have a nice breakfast if you need a old fashioned diner meal
