I recently got an Apple iPhone 5c and the Otterbox case doesn’t fit all that well, so I stopped to talk to one of the sales people, and he tried to find another, but the cases are in short supply. We then discussed the current state of the company’s network and I mentioned that I’d used LTE and WiMAX/4G over in Springdale but there didn’t seem to be any on the east side. He said that the technicians were working on the whole area but it’s not ready to be announced, so finding LTE is hit-or-miss. I appreciate that these sales people have no control over what the company’s administration does. It’s unfortunate, though, that you can barely connect to the internet around the mall, since it’s apparently so overloaded.

Sprint Coverage in Cincinnati is nil. No 4g LTE, extremely rare 4g, dropped calls, mobile as router works half the time if that, phone has not been alerting me of incoming phone calls(missed important meetings); I have gone whole weekends without a network. Many times I can not access the network, I am constantly restarting the phone to get it to work if at all. Because Sprint does not have 4gLTE in Cincinnati I was advised to get the Galaxy S2 instead of the 3 so that I could get 4g.(If you are with Sprint in Cincinnati with the GalaxyS3 or Galaxy S4, Iphone5, or Evo4gLTE, you are on 3G). My GS2 overheats, loses the contacts and screen goes black, icons disappear, phone does not ring… I am only with them still because they will charge me $ 350 to leave them before two years, even though I pay $ 130 a month for broken network coverage. Sprint Sucks. Overall their customer service in apologetic, but they lack the ability to really solve my issues. I can hard reset the phone folks, I need coverage.

I am with Sprint for lat 8 years and I must say I have never seen worst customer service representativs than that. Do they go through special olympics competition? If they do, I would say Kenwood Sprint store has the best of the worst. None of these miserable people know how to handle customer requests. None of them listen. None of them are actually somewhat helpful. But they all regardless asking to give them 5 out of five customer satisfaction survey. Are You serious? I had my phone for last 6 months and I needed to fix it for 5 times. Am I suprised? No. Do I enjoy going to Sprint store and deal with disrespect and stupidity? Not really. Did I try to speak with manager? Yes, and guess what. He is even more outrageous. Believe me, if you can escape dealing with these idiots, please do so. Don’t lose your time.

I hate going to Sprint. I mean I loathe it. I hate having to talk to the sales people. I always feel like I’m being forced to update my plan or get a new phone or see the latest gadgets when all I want to do is get done what I set out to do. We went to the store because the Man Piece has had his phone for 9 years. Yes, 9 years. It’s still an awesome flip phone that only texts and takes pictures. It was time for him to step into the 3G world. Greg was the first one to approach us. Dude, Greg is the man. Ask for him when you go, trust. He is so knowledgeable, really cool and laid back. No forced sales or anything. When we told him why we were there, he said cool«lets take a look at some phones.» He showed us basic ones to start then we moved on down the line through his favs. He told us pros and cons of each phone and which ones would be best for a «newcomer in the 3G world.» Me likey. After about 30 minutes of perusing, he left us alone to look around. Greg came back to check on us every 10 minutes or so. At this point I was annoyed that MP was taking so long to decide, but Greg was cool man. Stayed calm and still answered all questions MP had. After almost 2 hours we walked out of there with a brand new phone, an amazing new plan, had a tutorial on said phone and smiles on our faces. How many times have you been to a phone store and walked out with a smile on your face? I know I haven’t. 5 stars Greg & Sprint. 5 stars.
