I’ve only been here once, getting the beef/lamb/chicken burger, and I don’t think I’ve had a better burger in my two decades of life(yet!). I am so impressed by the unlimited toppings for no extra charge, the kind owners, and the quick food that competes with fastfood chains. But this place is just so much better, everything you want in a burger and more! They’re a decently large size for the price, and I remember how great the special house sauce was in this burger, recommended by the owner. I wish it was closer to me so I could enjoy it more regularly, but as other Unilocalers have said, 3MB is kind of tucked away in an area that is not very busy.

Issues in the Saturday evening shift, no bun choices, no chili left, no ice in the machine etc but tasty!

Very tasty — the Beef/Lamb/Chicken combo burger is the best! Less fattening than all beef too. They have TONS of free topping options, including avocado. The dervina sauce(red pepper based) is great! Prices can’t be beat for the value. The only problem I see is the location — no one knows they’re here, and even if you do know, it doesn’t stand out at all from the strip mall.

The burgers are really as good as everyone else says. I wasn’t sure about getting the house sauce, and the woman at the counter said«don’t worry if you don’t like it, our burgers are delicious just plain.» And they are. There’s an amazing variety of toppings you can order, they will grill any of the veggie toppings if you want, and the buns are excellent, too We were eager to try the fresh-cut fries, but I probably would not get them again. Better than fries out of the freezer, but not nearly as good as the Cincinnati area’s gold standard from Penn Station. The restaurant is plainly furnished, but clean and bright.

My wife and I drooped in based on other’s reviews and we agree this is one of the best burgers ever! Most every topping and the burger meat combinations are outstanding. A very friendly place and we’ll be back.

I stumbled on this place looking for a new and different burger. It is in a very forlorn shopping center and I suspect this location is not long for this world, based upon the lack of traffic at dinner time. Nonetheless, it is a very good and interesting burger. I had a double Angus, chicken, turkey. That was almost too much for me. I’m guessing the patties are a third to half pound. They start as a ball and are smashed on the grill. Nicely seasoned, not overcooked and juicy without being greasy. The consistency is closer to a turkey burger, but it isn’t chewy. Toppings are plentiful and fresh. The fries are fresh cut, well seasoned and not greasy. Prices are very reasonable. I saw the chili, which was not to my taste. It is Cincinnati chili, with a strong cinnamon note and rather watery looking. The soda machine was not working and they had cans of Coke, Diet Coke, and bottles of water. I fear the non-working soda machine means they can’t buy syrup right now. So while I fear for this place’s future, I have the say that the burgers and fries were spot on and I hope they can find a steady clientele.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday for lunch. Loved it so much, came back again today. Not the easiest place to spot from Beechmont(storefront sign is tiny). But what they lack in the size of their signage, they make up for in the size of their amazing 3 meat burgers! I had a double patty, 3 meat burger. They use the perfect combination of chicken, lamb and beef to make a thick patty that is both moist and very tender. The flavor of the patty is excellent, and is very similar to that of gyro meat. Tons of complimentary toppings to choose from, including fried egg and avocado. Fantastic fresh cut fries. Service was helpful and very friendly. If you are a fan of burger joints like Five Guys or Smashburger, you must try this place!

Came in with a huge group 15 minutes before close. They served us with a smile and didn’t mind that we stuck around an hour after close(Oops! Didn’t know until later) Their burgers are huge and I love the unlimited toppings. Prices are incredibly low too!!! But really the best part is that is BYOB. Warning, unlike other BYOB places, they don’t have a corkscrew or wine glasses. We drank our wine out of their soda glasses, which was fine with me!

The best burger I’ve ever had! So much better than 5 Guys, Smash Burger & all of the other fad burger restaurants. You pay one price & can choose any of the over 30 toppings w/no extra charge! BYOB too!

My wife and I had a hankerin’ for a burger for lunch today. We decided for the first time today to give 3 Meat Burger a try. We were greeted by a friendly, patient and personable young man, Sonny. He was the owners’ son and was staffing the restaurant by himself on this Sunday. Being our first time, he explained what was available and how to order. There is a Chicken, Turkey and Angus Beef, Chicken, Lamb and Angus Beef and for those less adventurous, an all Angus Beef burger. We both chose the Chicken, Lamb, Angus burger, a triple for me and a double for my bride. I like mine simple with American cheese, mayo and bbq sause on the side, she went with the basics of lettuce, tomato with swiss. On Sonny’s advise we had only one order of fries. The restaurant itself reminds of an old Penn Station with self-serve drinks and condiments. We sat down after ordering and Sony started grilling our burgers and dropped the fries. A short time later Sonny delivered our meal. The fries are wonderful! They are fresh cut and fresh fried(almost to hot to handle). They were crispy and full of flavor, we were hooked with just one bite. We unwrapped our burgers and WOW! Finally! A burger with flavor. So many burger joints have a flavorless meat disc and try to flavor it with toppings. Here at 3MB, the burger is the foundation of the flavor with the toppings just adding to the wonderful taste. It is not a typical burger flavor, it is a much more complex Mediterranean style flavor. The meat is crispy on the edges, juicy(not greasy) and a bit more chewy, like the ones momma used to make. The bun contained the juiciness of the burger without turning to paste and was very flavorful. The burgers are wonderful and fries are fantastic. We were already planning our next visit before finishing our last bites. I’m going to try the chili. This is a great small, family owned business and we cannot wait to support it again and again.

If I had a choice between 5 Guys or 3 Meat I would definately choose 3 Meat. Burgers were juicy and fresh. I’m not a burger fan but these were great!!! I had the single turkey, chicken and angus burger while my husband had the double angus, chicken and lamb, we were both very pleased and will return again. I suggest ordering one side of fries between the burgers and fries there’s plenty for two people.

We went here after buying a Groupon a few weeks ago. I was excited to try a burger made with three meats. First thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant looked. I ended up getting the original. I could definitely tell the meat had s different flavor than what I’m used to(with an all-beef burger), and it was good, but it also made me realize that I’m all beef kinda girl. So with that, I would go back, but I probably would just get the normal burger. The fries were really good too!

Best burger I have had by far. Fresh cut fries and handmade burgers that are seasoned perfectly. You also can choose from a multitude of toppings which are free of charge. Check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

This APB for Cincinnati-area burger-lovers is short and sweet: Get your arteriosclerotic keisters down to Three Meat Burger ASAP!!! Especially if you’re on the East Side. And especially especially if you’re in Mount Lookout or Mount Washington. Sonny, formerly of Sonny’s Three Meat Burgers of Anderson Township’s dreary Beechmont Road, has moved his operation to the virtually vacant Skytop Shopping Center. If the former buger joint was very good, this one’s even better than I remember that one being: bigger and juicier and more flavorful. I noticed Sonny smashing the burger on the griddle, a la Smashburger, to get that nice sear. And the hand-cut fries are ace, too. As Linsey notes, Sonny has branched out to include a more poultry-centric three-meat burger as well as a single-meat Angus burger. I still recommend the original lamb/beef/chicken one. Décor-wise, this new location is brighter, more colorful, and more open. But it’s still pretty spartan. I worry about the move to this Skytop location. This almost-dead shopping center hemorrhaged commercial tenants during the recession and has only recently started to grow again. It’s a damn shame because it’s very convenient to both Mt. Lookout and Mt. Washington, as well as Mariemont/Fairfax and Columbia-Tusculum. Three Meat Burger is not very visible from Beechmont and doesn’t seem to do much marketing or advertising to draw people’s notice. In fact, I don’t even know how anybody but Sonny’s previous fans would even know it’s there. But it is well worth visiting!

I rarely make it out to the way eastside, so I figured while I was in the area, I’d hit up a burger joint I’d yet to try. Formerly Sonny’s, Three Meat Burger(or 3MB as I will refer to it) is known for serving up either a beef/lamb/chicken or angus/turkey/chicken burger(or, if you’re feeling one-dimensional, they also have an angus patty option). I decided on the former, as it was suggested by the young man working at the time. The interior is unsubstantial, but considering 3MB’s new location just opened two weeks ago, this could very well change. Onward to my very scientific burger rating scale: Burger — 3⁄5 The beef/lamb/chicken patty was quite different, and it was pretty good. While not the most outstanding burger I’ve ever had, it was tasty nonetheless. Toppings — 3⁄5 The thing I like about this place is that you can build your own burger. There aren’t a ton of options, but still enough to change it up as needed. As usual, I chose both American and provolone cheeses, as well as mayonnaise, lettuce, and onion. All were fresh and good, and complimented the burger well without detracting from its unique flavor. Burger to Bun ratio — 4⁄5 I think the bun may have been my favorite part of the burger. It was a perfectly-toasted sesame bun and, while that doesn’t normally turn heads, it was fresh and delicious. Side — 4.5÷5 In my eyes, a restaurant can do no wrong with fresh cut fries. Most were cooked perfectly while some others were a bit underdone(according to my liking). Total — 3.625 out of 5 [rounded up to a 4 for Unilocal rating purposes] For a different-tasting burger and order of fries, the cost of my meal came in at the reasonable price of $ 7. Additionally, being a family-owned establishment, the worker was very friendly. More so, as I was leaving, [what I assume was] the owner’s young child(around the age of 6, I’d guess) thanked me on my way out. It was adorable, and it made me even more glad to have tried this local business. 3MB is very worth checking out, if only to patronize locally in lieu of opting for Five Burger Fries or another similar chain. I don’t make it to the eastside much, but I’d gladly head back that way to have Three Meat Burger again.
