White Castle

Let me start by saying I am a white castle fan! They can certainly hit the spot on occasion. I have a big issue with this location though, they are incredibly slow. They are so slow that I have actually left the drive thru line on several occasions. I don’t know if they are understaffed or they just don’t care.

Stopped by this White Castle on my way to TN. When finished I realized that there was only one employee. Loronda was cashier, cook and whatever else was required. She didn’t complain or mention this but apologized for any wait. She was upbeat and pleasant. I wish we had employees like that!

OK so next experience was better, still can’t believe both white castles closest to me are all out of mac & cheese corn dog and shrimp nibblers. But this time order went through fast and accurate and lady was nice. ⁹⁄₁₁. 330am. I know there are more important things in my life I should be analyzing but still I take my 3 AM white castle trips seriously. Unilocal out

Look, I’m from Pittsburgh and we don’t have White Castle, so when I see that sh*t I get just as excited as if it was a establishment of fine dining. This was my first time in over a decade eating at a WC and this location assisted in getting nostalgia the win.
Double bite burgers smothered in onions and cheese on warm mini rolls, if you’re here to watch your health or criticize my food decision, you’re doing this all wrong. We work out the other ⁵⁄₆ days a week for moments like this. I ate this completely sober and it was hot, freshly made and really Really good. The four pack combo is just right but if you’re feeling hungry or want to surprise a party you could get special bundles of 30 – 50 and even 100 for $ 78.00! I only ate 4 to step with precaution but when I was done, I could of devoured the 30 pack. I also love they have crinkle cut fries, almost nowhere sells these. This location specifically was on point especially at midnight and very friendly, a lethal fast food combo that would of kept me coming back for more had I lived in the area.
If you’re in Cincinnati and coming or going to town and never had White Castle or got a craving, this would be a location that will deliver exactly what you’re looking for.

The only reason they got one star was because the food was actually good.
We went to the White Castle at Ridge and Highland on July 8. We waited 20 minutes for 10 White Castles and an order of onion rings at the drive through. While we were waiting — one person in front of us just pulled out of line and left, one person parked and went in to get their order, another person left in back of us. We pulled up and paid at Window 1 at the 10 minute mark. It took almost another 5 minutes before we got to the pick up window. Then it took almost another 5 to actually get our order. We thought there might be a problem and asked the girl. She said, «No. It’s all good.» And, closed the window without asking or giving us any condiments.
Since our experience, several of our neighbors mentioned that they don’t go to that one any more. It seems long wait times are standard operating procedure.

We got some cheese sliders, fries, corn dogs and chicken rings. The food here is pretty good and prices are cheap. The sliders are best eaten hot. My fave item are the corn dogs. Shrimp popcorn is ok…

Me and my wife come in to dine in at 10:17pm we sat there while the girl complained about making a crave case in drivethru and served a minimum of 10 other cars… there are no other customers inside. Its now 10:45 I don’t see anyone cooking anything im looking around and the girls are in the office looking at pictures cause I hear them talking. … I get ones attention and ask for a refund cause I have cold groceries in the car. Its now 10:50 and im getting a refund and she offers to give me a refund and make my food.. I was upset cause I saw no burgers ready on the grill so I know I can’t take her up on it cause my groceries are going to go bad… and my meat got warm so I had to trash the meat grocery items. So to say the least I did not get to eat. …and now I am out money on my grocery items all cause my order was not made and instead of checking on customers, or maybe clean the filthy lobby tables. N. they are in the office bs’ ing.
I have had issues here before and this is why I rarely visit this location close to my home because my order either gets messed up or the wait sucks. .but today was the last straw… the lack of pride in which this store displays shows in the dirty atmosphere the lack of service and the nonchalant manner in which things are handled. …
There were two girls working and one blames the other vise versa… im sorry how much miscommunication can occur between two people. …

I love White Castle but not every White Castle has perfect picture burgers, this White Castles does though! It’s normally a very clean place and you can tell that the workers there are normally happy and enjoying life. The food is always at a good temperature and I love it.

Came here just to try it because ya know. I’m from California and there’s no White Castle. Just like I would have guessed. it’s no big deal. The little things are dirt cheap and they taste… meh. I can live without it and I’ll stick to my Californian ways… In n Out!

The Service was a little suspect, not often do I get greeting with «Yes» when asking if I’d like to place an order, but hell. I was in Cincinnati. We ordered chicken rings, but got mozzarella sticks instead. She let me keep the sticks and gave me the rings. The sliders were amazing as always. Well worth the 800 mile trip.

I think the Idea of this place is a lot better than the food. Or you have to be stoned to enjoy it.

It looked kinda dirty and the food was bland

Little breakfast sandwiches are delicious! Coffee not bad.
Be prepared to wait a little bit. It doesn’t take forever, but it’s not «fast».

I come here mainly for the coffee. They use the best creamer. Excellent blue collar coffee. Not as bold and strong.
I have tried the Sliders, sack of fries and chicken rings. All are delicious and best to eat after a long night at the bars.
I grew up from the south, so I like Krystals better. But White Castles is just as good. The only difference is Krystals sliders seem to look bigger and puffier, plus they add mustard, White Castles does not.
The drive thru is quick, staff is nice and the inside is not dirty.

The service was pretty good at this location and the drive thru employee was very polite! This is a big difference from years ago. I stopped going here, this location, because The service was not so friendly. But in the last few months I have ventured back here. I don’t eat White Castles often, but when myself and the family want some this is the location that we go to. The food is always hot and our order is always right. Also, when you are coming home from Children’s Hospital at 3 in the morning and you are starving and your child is starving because she couldn’t eat due to testing at the hospital, these little sliders are perfect winner in my book!

This is where I first had White Castle… and WOW! Just amazing! I wish there was one of these in the S.F. bay area. I bought a crave case (32 burgers) and took them with me on the plane. Yes, these little burgers and fries will have you racing to the toilet before long. They can work faster than ex-​lax. But, damn! They are just soooooo good!

The only time I’ve had the famous White Castle burger is in Cincinnati while staying at my friend’s place. I have to admit the small burgers tasted excellent after a night of raging hangover.
I would go back and revisit again if I’m at the area again. I don’t eat at fast food places often but I’ll make this an exception.

Ok, admit it, you love White Castle, but don’t have the guts to review the fine cuisine they offer the masses. There is nothing like 4 sliders, and a large onion chip at the 1:00am drive home on the weekends. I’m not a huge fan of onions, but those chips are amazing!
What to try: White Castle Cheeseburgers.

Honestly, driving through a foreign state, I’m not sure if this is the specific White Castle we ended up at, but… whatever.
Anyone see the movie Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle? Well, my hubby and I did our own trek for the mini-​burger ourselves. We don’t have White Castle in California (and those frozen ones at the grocery store don’t count). On our trip back East, we decided to go. Only it turns out they don’t have any in Syracuse, NY. What??? I started to panic. On our way to Sandusky, OH, I called information and was told there were a few of them in Cincinnati, and some how, we ended up in the parking lot of one. Yea!
The guys behind the counter were really nice and thought it was funny I was taking pictures outside. Ah well. I needed proof that we were really there. Four mini-​burgers each for me and my hubby, and some fries to share. OK, they’re not the best burgers in the world, but it was a mission accomplished when I had my first bite. Been there, done that. But I’m glad I did it.

Rat burger in, rat burger out: They don’t call these things «sliders» for nothin’.
As long as you’re not planning on taking any long flights or sharing a bed with anyone, go ahead– eat a sack. You won’t find anything more disgustingly delicious.
7 jazz musicians + a small tour van + 20 sliders + 4 sacks of fries = EXTREME.
