Dropped in for an early dinner at the White House Inn. The sign outside said«Casa Bianca» since I’ve heard it was recently changed. It was a slow Sunday, but as we walked into the bar entrance, the ambience was really wonderful. Wood everywhere as the restaurant is in an old doctor’s residence. The food is based on Italian so I was somewhat impressed by the menu. You can’t beat the Entrée’ deal. You receive a house or Caesar salad, along with your entrée and two sides. I highly suggest trying the hand battered Onion Rings. Wow. light and delicious. I had the Chicken Cacciatore and Risotto and Onion Rings. I would suggest to the chef or diner to either lay off the marinara sauce as it was drenched in marinara… I just scooped some to the side, as I thought it took away from the chicken. Overall the chicken was perfect, the mixture of peppers, marinara and the onions were perfect. The risotto was moist and not salty and very delicious. The complimentary dessert was a chocolate chip cookie. They also serve Graeter’s ice cream for $ 2.95 and the scoop was very tiny. Overall the ambience, and dining experience was wonderful. I highly suggest the Casa Bianca or White House Inn to everyone.
