Sumo Sushi

New Years sushi once again! The sushi was delicious and fresh. The best part about Sumo Sushi is that they offer a large variety of veggie sushi. As a vegetarian it’s hard to find interesting vegetarian rolls. My favorite is the sweet potato sushi and the Inari sushi. They have two special vegetarian rolls that are well done.
The prices are reasonable and the owners are always very nice and accommodating. Super friendly and efficient service. Use the Beyond Menu app to order for pick up or delivery. It makes it easier in my opinion.
Check out the picture I’ve included… that sushi was eaten by 2 people. It’s cute how Sumo Sushi always thinks we’re having a New Years party with a bunch of guests. They always include a bunch of chopsticks and comment on us having a party.

Have been back to Sumo a few times now and find it’s better to eat-​in. Delicious and fresh every time.

The best sushi I ever had (10 years of sushi eating experience). Wait staff are very friendly and the service is quick. $ 10.95 for 3 sushi rolls is an amazing deal. Plus, their special rolls are fairly priced and absolutely delicious. *recommend the incredible and the rock n roll roll.

Well worth it for the money, my wife and I have enjoyed sumo from the first week they were opened and the food is just as good years later. Service is awesome as well as the delivery.

Never ready for pick-​up when they say they are. They’ll say it’ll be ready in 15 minutes, I’ll leave in 15 minutes and end up waiting another 15 when I get there.
Just pulled two hairs off/​out of my spicy tuna roll — one on the outside and another within the ground tuna. My coworker found a dead ant in her salad of her bento box.
Usually it’s okay food, but after this experience I will not be back.

Not the best yet not the worst. My girlfriend and i decided to try a different sushi place then our usual and to check out this place. Although this place was good and they had a large selection of rolls and other sushi. For the price I was a little disappointed. I have been to other sushi restaurants in the area and for the same price you got better quality sushi better service and a cleaner restaurant. Admittedly when I came here it was in the winter so the floors being wet dirty and covered with salt is a reality. However the amount of salt from the outside on the ground as well as the white footprints throughout the whole resturant did not make it look good at all. I would come back here again if I wanted sushi and did not have a choice of where to go. With the places in the area you can get much more for you money.

We order from here regularly. The food is always good. I have never dined-​in but takeout is fast and delish.

Amazing sushi (we ordered the shrimp tempura roll and the eel roll for delivery) and when we opened it, we saw that it was some type of crab roll. I called to tell them it was wrong, but then I checked my receipt and it was I who ordered the wrong roll! Nonetheless, the sent me an eel roll anyway!

We eat here about once a month. The menu is substantial and the food is nicely presented, unlike other places that simply line the rolls up in a pile. Nice job! Our server, Joanna, took good care of our table with a smile, which goes a long way with us. This BYOB restaurant is always sparkling clean, too, and they always mail 20% off coupons.

I really enjoy this place for good quality suishi take out. The staff is amazing. The prices can get expensive on the special rolls. Spicy Tuna roll is my favorite. Quick service pickup and delivery. Definitly recommend.

I absolutely love this place !! the sushi is awesome and always fresh, it’s also great because it’s a BYOB but the service is always good too! I come here atleast once a week. when I started eating sushi I would come here 3 times a week! just so good!!!

The sushi was freshly made with quality. The restaurant was small and cozy. I felt like I was in a private setting. Very relaxing to dine. Price was very reasonable. Would definitely return.

Been here a few times since they’ve opened… nice little place to eat inside, but I’ve mainly gotten take-​out from here.
The sushi is pretty high quality, and food overall is delicious. Prices are a bit above average, but you get what you pay for.
Definitely recommend trying this place out.

This was excellent sushi (but I am not an expert.) I had money bags for the first course — cream cheese and crab was fantastic. Trio of salmon and two tunas also great. Vanilla mochi great for desert too. Wife and daughter, the real sushi fans in the house, loved this place too. We’ll be back.

I stopped in today to get takeout for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised to see that nearly every table was full. My previous times here have been later, closer to dinner and there never seemed to be much business.
I guess the word is out, though. Sumo has some of the best sushi around and for a pretty decent price too. The girl behind the counter greeted me immediately. She seemed to be the only waitress for all the whole restaurant, but didn’t appear frazzled by this. She seemed to be able to take of all the guests well enough.
There’s a little seating area next to where you pay with magazines to read while you wait. I really liked this as I hadn’t brought a book with me. After ordering I caught up on some celebrity news, and only waited about 10 – 15 minutes for my food.
I am not very adventurous when it comes to sushi. I tend to get the same thing no matter where I go. I got the Happy Lunch special which gets you three rolls for $ 10.95. I got the spicy tuna, spicy shrimp, and sweet potato. Of the 3, the spicy shrimp was my favorite. Both spicy rolls had a cumulative heat factor, getting a bit more spicy as I kept eating. I also tried the pork Gyoza appetizer which was amazing.
For this massive amount of food I paid $ 17. I probably won’t have to eat again for the rest of day now. Good service, good food, decent price. I’ll definitely be back.

Awesome service, I always get a friendly welcome and treatment from the staff, whether it’s pickup, delivery or dine in. I’ve done it all at Sumo and it’s great. They have amazing presentation, even making a volcano with the sushi roll when I ordered a Volcano Roll, with LED lights in it and everything. They plate their dishes well and are quick.
They have a BYOB policy and will bring an ice bucket for champagne/​wine.
I haven’t even begun with the food, which is all excellent. I’m not even a fan of miso soup, personally– but I even eat theirs. The lunch boxes are a great deal.
If you’re craving sushi, this is definitely the place to go.
